may delay the reaction of the brake system.
Therefore, please regulary use the brake system gently during
rides in rainy conditions.
After washing the vehicle please use the brakes „dry braking“
before starting your ride.
Warning:
In freezing temperatures please test all functions of your

Safety instructions
Always follow the national and local
traffic regulations. Avoid sudden
changes of direction with your vehicle
or Any actions that could endanger
your own safety Or the safety of
other road users.
The risk of accidents significantly
increases when taking drugs or
alcohol. If your physical and mental
health is affected, don’t use
the vehicle. Please also don’t use
the vehicle when feeling fatigue or
restlessness.
Basic safety rules:
Most accidents are caused by the
inexperience of the driver.
Always make sure that the driver is
capable and has the knowledge to
drive your vehicle.

9
Always avoid driving agains
obstacles that could damage the
vehicle or make it unstable.
Do not drive too close behind
preceding vehicles and respect the
right distance to allow safe braking.
Always keep both hands on the
handlebar and both feet on the
footboard. Ensure a correct driving
posture and never stand up during
driving. Always remain focused and
controlled when driving your vehicle.
Don’t distract yourself during driving.

Safety instructions
Never change the position, the incli-
nation or color of the following
parts: license plate, turn indicators,
lights or horn. Any of these changes
void the warranty, the insurance
coverage and the driving allowance
on streets.
Any changes that are performed on
the vehicle, including the removal
of original parts, can affect the

compromise the safety or make it
illegal. Always respect all local and
national regulations regarding the
vehicle equipment. Avoid changes
that increase the vehicle performance
or change the original characteristics
of the vehicle. Avoid off-road driving.
Basic safety rules:
Protective clothing:
For your safety, we strongly recom-
mend that you always wear and
approved motorcycle helmet,
eye protection, boots,gloves, long
pants, and a long-sleeved shirt or
jacket whenever you ride. Although
complete protection is not possible,
wearing proper gear can reduce the
chance of injury. See your Kumpan
dealer for stylish comfortable and
effective riding gear suggestions.
Helmet and eye protection:
Your helmet is your most important piece of
riding gear because it offers the best protection
against head injuries. A helmet should fit your
head comfortably and securely. A bright -colored
helmet can make you more noticeable in traffic,
as can reflective strips. An open-face helmet
offers some protection, but a full-face helmet
offers more. Always remember to properly
fasten your crash helmet. Regardless of the sty-
le, look for a DOT ( Department Of Transportati-
on) sticker in any helmet you buy (USA only) and
always wear a face shield or gogles to protect
your eyes and help your vision.
Additional riding gear:
In addition to a helmet and eye protection,
we also recommend:
1) Boots worn correctly with an anti-slip sole to
protect your feet and calves
2) Leather gloves to keep your hands warm and
help prevent blisters, cuts, burns ans scraped skin
3) A motorscooter riding suit or jacket to com-
fort as well as protection
Bright-colored and reflective clothing can help
make you more noticeable in traffic. Be sure
to avoid loose clothes that could get caught on
any part of your motorscooter.

11
ACCESSORIES:
The vehicle owner is personally liable
for the selection and installation of
accessories. Be extra careful when
installing accessories that they don’t
affect the fuctionality of any other
part of the vehicle.
It is important to not use any acces-
sories that affect the controls be-
cause this may extend your reaction
time in an emergency.
Make sure that the equipment is well
fastened to the vehicle to prevent
dangerous situations while driving.
Never use electrical devices that may
influence the Power output of your
vehicle. There is a risk that the vehicle
suddenly stops or that there is a pow-
er outage and the horn, turn signals
and lights can not operate properly.
Kumpan electric recommends to use
only original accessories.
CHARGE:
Always load the vehicle very carefully
and respect the total allowed weight.
Make sure to store the luggage as
close as possible to the center of
gravity of the vehicle and keep an
even weight distribution.
Check that the load is firmly secured.
All load has to be constantly
observed, especially during long trips.

Never place bulky, heavy or dange-
rous objects on the handlebars, the
mudguard or the forks. Otherwise
there is a risk that the vehicle
responds more slowly in curves and
the overall stability is impaired.
Don’t x large load to the sides of
the vehicle, to avoid hitting people or
obstacles.
Only transport luggage that is xed
firm and secure to the vehicle. Avoid
to carry bags which overlap the lug-
gage rack or cover the lights, the turn
signals or the horn. A transportation
of children or animals on the luggage
rack is prohibited!
Excessive weight can affect the
stability and the maneuverability
of the vehicle.

ride. The vehicle can only be started if
the sidestand is completely folded.
