LIMITED WARRANTY
Küryakyn warrants that any Küryakyn products sold
hereunder, shall be free of defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the
date of purchase by the consumer excepting the
following provisions:
• Küryakyn shall have no obligation in the event
the customer is unable to provide a receipt showing
the date the customer purchased the product(s).
• The product must be properly installed,
maintained and operated under normal conditions.
• Küryakyn makes no warranty, expressed or
implied, with respect to any gold plated products.
• Küryakyn shall not be liable for any consequential
and incidental damages, including labor and
paint, resulting from failure of a Küryakyn product,
failure to deliver, delay in delivery, delivery in non-
conforming condition, or for any breech of contract
or duty between Küryakyn and a customer.
• Küryakyn products are often intended for use
in specifi c applications. Küryakyn makes no
warranty if a Küryakyn product is used in
applications other than intended.
• Küryakyn electrical products are warranted for one
(1) year from the date of purchase by the consumer.
Components of Küryakyn products containing L.E.D.s
will be warranted for defects in materials and
workmanship for 3 years from the date of purchase.
• Küryakyn makes no warranty of any kind in
regard to other manufacturer’s products distributed
by Küryakyn. Küryakyn will pass on all warranties
made by the manufacturer and where possible, will
expedite the claim on behalf of the customer,
but ultimately, responsibility for disposition of the
warranty claim lies with the manufacturer.

NOTE
For some models, loosening the exhaust where the pipes fasten to the heads and on lower
bracketry may be necessary to gain clearance to install the engine case covers.
TOOLS SUGGESTED
A set of Metric and Standard Allen Wrenches, and a Torque Wrench
PROCEDURE
STEP 1
Using a 5mm Allen wrench, remove the
fastener that secures the master cylinder to the
frame. The master cylinder is located under the
front exhaust pipe on the right side of the bike.

STEP 2
Using two of the supplied 10–24 X 1/2”
Button Socket Cap Screws, Secure the Right
Lower Cylinder Base Cover (labeled as C in
FIG.1
)
to the Right Cylinder Base Cover (labeled as D in
FIG.1
).
STEP 3
Using the supplied
10–24 X 5/8” Phillips Head
Pan Screw, secure the Rear
Mount Spacer (labeled as
B in
FIG.1
) to the Right Cylin-
der Base Cover (labeled as D
in
FIG.1
).

STEP 4
On the right side of the bike, remove the two OEM fasteners shown in
PIC.2
. Then maneuver
the Right Cylinder Base Cover into position on the engine case.
STEP 5
Loosely reinstall the two OEM fasteners removed in STEP 4 through the mounting tabs on the
Right Cylinder Base Cover.
STEP 6
On the left side of the bike, remove the two OEM fasteners shown in
PIC.3
and maneuver
the Left Cylinder Base Cover into position on the engine case.
STEP 7
Loosely reinstall the two OEM fasteners removed in STEP 6 through the mounting tabs on
the Left Cylinder Base Cover.
STEP 8
Using the remaining supplied 10–24 X 1/2” Button Socket Cap Screw, loosely secure the
Left Cylinder Base Cover (labeled as A in
FIG.1
) to the Rear Mount Spacer (labeled as B in
FIG.1
).
STEP 9
Slide the supplied 1/4”–20 X 6” Socket Head Cap Screw
through the fastener hole at the front of the Right Cylinder Base Cover
(labeled as A in
FIG.1
) and the Front Mount Spacer (labeled as E in
FIG.1
).
Then thread it into to the Right Cylinder Base Cover (labeled as D in
FIG.1
). Do not tighten fully at this time.
STEP 10
Tighten the fasteners in the specific order outlined below:
•
Tighten the OEM fasteners that were loosely installed in STEP 5 and
STEP 7, to 10 foot-pounds of torque.
•
Snuggly tighten the 10–24 X 1/2” Button Socket Cap Screw that was
loosely installed in STEP 8.
•
Tighten the 1/4”–20 X 6” Socket Head
Cap Screw loosely installed in STEP 9.
