LIMITED WARRANTY
Küryakyn warrants that any Küryakyn products sold
hereunder, shall be free of defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the
date of purchase by the consumer excepting the
following provisions:
•Küryakyn shall have no obligation in the event
the customer is unable to provide a receipt showing
the date the customer purchased the product(s).
•The product must be properly installed,
maintained and operated under normal conditions.
•Küryakyn makes no warranty, expressed or
implied, with respect to any gold plated products.
•Küryakyn shall not be liable for any consequential
and incidental damages, including labor and
paint, resulting from failure of a Küryakyn product,
failure to deliver, delay in delivery, delivery in
nonconforming condition, or for any breech of con-
tract or duty between Küryakyn and a customer.
•Küryakyn products are often intended for use
in specific applications. Küryakyn makes no
warranty if a Küryakyn product is used in
applications other than intended.
•Küryakyn electrical products are warranted for
one (1) year from the date of purchase by the con-
sumer. Components of Küryakyn products containing
L.E.D.s will be warranted for defects in materials and
workmanship for 3 years from the date of purchase.
•Küryakyn makes no warranty of any kind in
regard to other manufacturer’s products distributed
by Küryakyn. Küryakyn will pass on all warranties
made by the manufacturer and where possible, will
expedite the claim on behalf of the customer,
but ultimately, responsibility for disposition of the
warranty claim lies with the manufacturer.

PLEASE NOTE
It is the installers responsibility to make sure all fasteners (including pre-assembled) are
tightened before operation of motorcycle. Küryakyn will not warranty components that are lost
due to improper installation. Periodic maintenance may be required.
CAUTION! Clean only with warm water and a mild, non-abrasive soap. Some cleaning
products contain harsh chemicals that can severely damage product and
void warranty.
TOOLS SUGGESTED
Torx-driver (T40), hex wrench (1/8”), combination wrench (3/8”), socket (1/2”) and ratchet.
ATTENTION! A factory service manual may be helpful in performing this installation. Do not
attempt to perform this installation if you are not confident in your ability to
complete all steps in the procedure; consult a trained technician.

INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
STEP 1 Loosely assemble the right and left heat shields to the front mounting bracket. Be sure that the
washer, lock washer, and acorn nut are seated in the depression on each heat shield. See PIC.1 and
FIG 1.
STEP 2 Loosely secure a rear mounting bracket on each of the heat shields. Be sure the acorn nut
faces downward. The bent angle of the mounting brackets should also face upward. See FIG 1 and
PIC 2.
STEP 3 Remove the seat from the bike; refer to your factory service manual for specific
instructions.
STEP 4 Locate the three fasteners shown in PIC 3. The saddle shields will be mounted using the
stock hardware. Remove the front fastener; loosen the two rear fasteners but do not remove.
STEP 5 Place the saddle shield assembly over the forward mounting point; re-install the stock
fastener, but do not tighten at this point. See PIC 4.
STEP 6 Remove the left rear fastener; slide the left rear bracket between the wiring bracket
and the frame. Re-install the stock fastener but do not tighten. Repeat for the opposite side.
See PIC 4 & 5.
STEP 7 Center the saddle shield assembly so that there is an even gap between the heat
shields and the fuel tank. Tighten the fasteners on the front mounting bracket, then
tighten the forward stock fastener. Be sure the saddle shield assembly remains centered.
ATTENTION! Be sure there is adequate clearance between the saddle shields and fuel
tank.
STEP 8 Tighten the fasteners on the rear brackets, then tighten the rear stock fasteners.
STEP 9 Replace the seat on the bike.
