LP-SW811 Switch for assistance.
There is one status LED indicator on the side of the wireless network adapter. It lights up and stays ON when working
correctly, and ashes when transferring data.
To install the Switch, please follow the steps:
LP-SW811 is 8 ports 10/100Mbps Auto-Negotiation Ethernet Switch. All ports support Auto MDI/MDIX function, each
port can be used for general port or Uplink port.
The LanPro 8-port Fast Ethernet Switch, LP-SW811, provides you a low-cost, easy-to-use, high-performance, seamless
and standard switch to upgrade old network to 100Mbps network. It will boost your network performance up to full
duplex data transfer. Its wire-speed switching that forwards packets can be as fast as the speed that your network
delivers those packets to them.
One LP-SW811 Switch.

You can place the Switch on a at surface or a wall.
Please verify carefully the Power Adapter, make sure it is properly connected to a power source.
Be sure to leave enough space for heat dissipation and good ventilation in the Switch.
Don’t place heavy objects on the Switch.

LED indicators
After the Switch powers up, it will be automatically initialized and the LED indicators should respond as follows:
This Chapter describes the front panel, rear panel and LED indicators of the Switch. The sketches of the front panel,
rear panel and LED indicators are very similar between LP-SW811. The following sketches are for LP-SW811.
The front panel of the LP-SW811 consists of several LED indicators.
The rear panel of the LP-SW811 consists of 8 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ports. All ports can be the Uplink port, and the “Uplink”
mark under Port 8 can be ignored.
The LED indicators include Power LED and Link/Act LEDs. The LED indicators are used for monitoring and troubleshooting
of the Switch. The following section shows the LED indicators for the Switch along with an explanation of each indicator.

All of the Link/Act LED indicators will ash momentarily, meaning the switch is being reset.
The Power LED indicator will light up.

Power LED: This indicator will light up when the Switch powers up. If the LED is not lit, please check the power
adapter and connection.
LINK/ACT LEDs: These LEDs indicate Link/Active status. One LED indicator will light green when a device is
connected to the corresponding port. It ashes when data is being transmitted or received on the connection.

1. The Power LED is not lit
2. The Link/Act LED is not lit when a device is connected to the corresponding port
Make sure the AC power Adapter connected to the switch has the proper power source.
Make sure the power source is ON.
Make sure you are using the LANPRO power adapter supplied with your switch.
Make sure the cable connectors are rmly plugged in the Switch and the device.
Make sure the connected device is turned on and its adapter is installed correctly and is working.
Make sure the cable is less than 100 meters (328 feet).
