Checking Parts
Please c eck if t e following parts are included:

Safety instructions
If t e device as been exposed to great temperature c anges, do not switc it on
immediately. Condensation water may damage your device. Leave t e device switc ed off
until it as reac ed room temperature.
T e laser must only be used for s ows. Any operation as to be attended and supervised by
a skilled and well-trained operator.
Never leave t is device running unattended and keep it away from c ildren and unaut orized
persons.
Keep away from eaters and ot er eat sources. In order to safeguard sufficient ventilation,
leave 50 cm of free space around t e device.
Never direct t e laser beam to people or animals.
CAUTION LASER DIODE: If you open t e device for cleaning, always disconnect from mains!
-HEALTH HA ARD! Never look directly into the light source, as sensitive
persons may suffer an epileptic shock!
T ese lasers are considered a definite eye azard, particularly at t e ig er
power levels, w ic WILL cause eye damage. So t ese laser series models
supplied wit a key switc to prevent unaut orized use, warning labels and
aperture labels affixed to t e laser.
Installation safety
Prior to installation and operation of t e laser, t e pat s of t e beams and
effects s ould be considered, particularly wit respect to ow t ey will reac
t e audience. If direct audience scanning is desired, t en t e laser energy in
t e effects needs to be considered to decide if t e effects are safe for direct viewing. Always
ensure, t at t e maximum permissible exposure (MPE) is not exceeded in t e area accesible
to t e public. So install t e laser in suc a way, t at minimum distances and eig ts ensure
t e MPE is never exceeded in t e public area.

OPERATING THE LASER
T e operator as to make sure t at laser radiation – also reflected laser radiation – ig er
t an t e maximum permissible level is avoided by tec nical or organisational measures.
(Especially wit respect to t e MPE, see above.)
Make sure to use t e correct voltage
If t e device is used in a flying installation, t e mounting brackets and an appropriate safety-
rope must be fixed.
In some countries, t e operator must notify t e accidence insurance and t e aut ority for
industrial safety, before operating a laser. For more information, contact t e relevant
aut orities.
Please consider t at unaut orized modifications on t e device are strictly forbidden due to
safety reasons!
If t is device will be operated in any way differently t an described in t is manual, t e
product may suffer damages and t e guarantee becomes void. Furt ermore, any ot er
operation may lead to dangers like s ort-circuit, burns, electric s ock, etc.
Keep surrounding dry and clean. T is unit s ould be keep dry, do not use in t e rain or
damp and dusty environment. Projector s ould be put in a water-proof ousing w en
operated outside.
Regularly open t e device (see “cleaning” furt er down) to c eck for dust inside, or if fog
fluid condenses in t e ousing (if so rearrange azer and/or laser position).
Operating temperature is 10~35°C. In a new installation, c eck after some 15-30 minutes
w et er t e outlet air gets too warm. Regularly c eck t e inside for dust deposits, especially
around t e fans. Let laser cool off 10minutes after 2 ours of operation,to ensure maximum
lifetime for t e diode.
Distance between laser aperture and projection screen s ould be not less t an 1 meter.
Do not turn device on and immediately off again frequently.
Do not look into t e laser beam directly, especially not wit optical instruments.
Do not touc t e device wit wet ands.
W en t e laser diode becomes dim or broken, please contact your dealer timely.
W en returning laser to dealer/manufacturer always use original packaging.

Caution – use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other
than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.

6. MAINTENANCE
Maintenance s ould be performed every 15-day period, by using a sponge w ic is dipped
wit alco ol, rat er t an wet clot or ot er c emical liquid, to clean t e mirror.
Always disconnect from t e mains w en t e device is not in use or before cleaning it.
T ere are no serviceable parts inside t e device. Maintenance and service operations are
only to be carried out by aut orized dealers.
