REMOTE CONTROL
NOTE:
1.Turnontheplayer,insertthebatteriesintotheremotecontrol, anddirecttheremote
controlattheremotesensoronthefrontpanel.
2. Remotecontrolfunctionsatthedistanceof7m(notmore)fromtheplayer.
3. IftheremotecontrolsensororIR-radiatorisclosed, theremotecontrolwillnot
operateortherewillbeaninterference.
4. Interference fromthehightensionappliances, generatinghighfrequencysignalcan
stronglyinfluence theworkoftheremotecontrol.

CONNECTTOTHETV-SET
1. IfyourTV-sethasAVinput, usetheAVcabletoconnecttheplayertotheTV-set.
Afteryoumakesuretheconnectionisright, giveAVstatus totheTV-setinthesettings.
2. IfyourTV-sethasS-videoinput, useS-videocabletoconnecttheplayertotheTV-set.
Thistypeofconnectionprovidethebestqualityofpicture.
3. IfyourTV-sethasPb/Cb,Y, Pr/Crinput, usesixheadedjackcabletoconnectthe
playertotheTV-set.Thistypeofconnectionmakethepicturemorenatural.
4.ThisunithasanoutputinterfaceforScartoutput, whichcandirectlybeconnected
withTV-set.
NOTES:
1. Before connecting the player to the TV-set, turn off and unplug the both units.
2. During playing a disc we recommend to change settings of the player in order to make
it compatible with the TV-set.
3. You can connect the player the TV-set in different ways. Choose only one of them.
Multiple connections negatively influent the source and picture quality.
4. Do not turn ON/OFF the player very often. The interval must be min. 3 seconds.
5. Do not use digital coaxial or optical output of the player and analogue output at the
same time.

CONNECTTOTHEAMPLIFIER
Digitalaudiooutputsetting
Connectcoaxialoropticaloutputoftheplayertothecorrespondinginputsofthe
amplifier. Duringplaying adiscorstop,press theSETUPbuttonontheremotecontrol
toopentheDVD menupage. UsedirectionbuttonstomovetotheAudiosetup page
Also, movethecursordownwardstoDigitalaudiosetup byusing thedirection
buttons;thenusetheRightdirectionbuttonagaintomovetoSPDIFsetup.Selectthe
digitaloutputandsetSPDIF/RAWorSPDIF/PCM.Thenpress thePLAY/ENTER
buttontosavetheselectedvalue. Finally, press theSETUPbuttonagaintoexitthe
setup menu.

Beforeconnectionoftheacousticequipment, payattentiontothepicturebelow.
Eachconnectionmustbesafeandfirm. Connectthepoweratlast.

BASICOPERATION
Preparation
1) Beforeturnontheunit,checkifalltheconnectionsarerightandsafelymade.InsertThe
plug inthecorrespondingpowersocket.
2) Press thePOWER buttononthefrontpanelofthis unit.
3) Press theEJECT buttononfrontpanelofthisunit,thenputthedisconthedischolderand
press thisbuttonagain.Theplayerwillstartplaying.
Mutebutton
Ifyoupress theMUTE buttonduringplaying,soundsignalwillnotbeheard,butthepicturewill
remain.Press theMUTE buttonagainortheVOL+/-buttontoresumethepreviousvolume
level.
Stateindication
Whileplaying adisc,presstheDisplaybutton,thefollowinginformationwillappearOnthe
display:
VCD/CDitems:TR(trackremain),totalelapsed, DR(directoryremain), singleelapsed.
DVD items:titleelapsed, titleremain, chapterelapsed, chapterremain, displayoff.
Selectchannel/language
Whileplaying VCDdisc,press theLANG/(L/R) buttontoselectoneoftheplaying modes:
MonoL, MonoR, Mix-MonoandStereo.Press thisbuttontoswitchchannelmodesonebyone.
Whileplaying DVD-disc,usetheLANG/(L/R) buttontoselectsoundlanguageprovides.(Ifthe
DVD supports thisfunction.)
FastForwardand Rewind
Whileplaying adisc, press theTU+orTU-buttontofastforwardand
fast
rewind. Thespeedchangesinthefollowing way:
FastForward:2timesfaster, 4timesfaster,8timesfaster, 16 timesfaster,32 timesfaster, play.
BackRewind :2timesfaster, 4timesfaster,8timesfaster, 16timesfaster,32 timesfaster, play.
Previousand next
Whileplaying disc, press thebuttonontheremotecontroltogototheprevious
song/chapter;
press buttontogothenextsong/chapter.

Whileinplaying mode, press theREPEAT buttontosetrepeatmode.
1. ForDVD,asyoupress theREPEAT button,theTVscreenwilldisplays:Chapter,Title,All.
2. ForVCD, CD,CD-Rdiscs, press theREPEATbutton,thescreenwilldisplays:Track,All.
3.ForMP3,JPEGandothermediafiles,thescreenwilldisplays:Single,Repeatone,Repeat
Folder, Repeatoff.
A-BRepeat
Whileinplaying mode, press theA-BREPbuttontosetthesectionforrepeating.
1. Press theA-BREP buttononce atthebeginning ofthesection(A).
2.Press theA-BREP buttonattheendofthesection(B).ThenitwillautomaticallyRepeat
sectionAB.
3. Press thebuttonagaintoexitA-Brepeat.
Standbymode
Toswitchon(orswitchoff )thestandbymode,press theSTANDBY buttonontheremote
control. (Makesuretheunitisconnectedtothepowersource).
Title
IftheDVD disccontainsdirectoryvolume,press theTITLE buttontodisplaythelistoftitlesin
thisdisc.Usethedirectionbuttontomovethecursorordigitalbuttonstoselecttheitemsthat
youwanttoplay.
Volumesetting
Press theVOL.+/- buttonstoturnthevolumeup ordown.
Subtitle
IftheDVD-discsupportssubtitlelanguages, usetheSUB buttontoselectoneofthe
languages:English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Czech, HungarianandOthers.
Loudness
Press theLOUD buttontosettheloudness onoroff.
Stop
Inplaying mode, press theSTOP buttononce,theplayerwillstoptheplaying;thestop
pointwillbememorized. Press thePLAY/ENTER button,theplaying discwillbe
continuefromthestoppoint.
Ifyoupress theSTOP buttontwice,thestop pointwillnotbememorized,press the
PLAY/ENTER button,theplaying willstartfromthebeginning.
