Chapter 1: Live Operation
In the live mode, user can monitor all channels of the DVR and change the division, user can access the
configuration panel by right-clicking the mouse, There is a shortcut toolbar on the top of the screen, and a
division control panel will appear when the mouse cursor moves to the bottom of the screen。
Note: The number of channels, split screen, and resolution in the following figures are for reference
only. The actual screen is subject to different models.

Chapter 2: Main Menu Setup
To enter the main menu and set up DVR, log-in account and user password are required.
The default password of the administrator is “1111”, please check the “Account Setup” for management other
users.

2-1 Auto Sequential

The DVR automatically switches between channels with
designated interval. The DVR shows each channel in a single-split

2-2 Backup
User can backup recorded video data of a specified time to either direct-attached storage, such as USB flash
drive, or remote folder of a PC.

2-4 Time Search
User can search the specific date and time of recorded data to playback, in calendar that dates have recorded
data marked with blue rectangle, click on marked “date” will display recorded time of that specific date with
time bar, user can change specific time (hour/minute/second) by mouse click on the time bar, then press “OK”.
DVR will playback the recorded data of the specific date and time.

2-5 System Logs
The event list shows the logged events, event type, event detail, event filter (criteria), and page number of the
event list, there is a gray video symbol "►" on the left of the event. Move the cursor to event line and
double-click mouse button, DVR playback this record video related to the event.
Note: If there is no installed HDD, or there is no recorded data, DVR cannot playback video when
double click on the event.

Set the conditions for the event search
Slide to choose a page of the event list. The number shows on the
right side is currently page number
Press left and right arrow keys or enter the page number directly. It
will go to the select event page.
Refresh the system logs.
2-5.1 Search Criteria
Set "Criteria" to facilitate rapid classification of events. If the check box of start time and end time is checked,
the event list will only display the events within the specific time slot. If the user uncheck some events and
press the "OK ", the lists will only shows checked events. If you uncheck the channels, the event list will filter
out unchecked the channels.

2-6 PTZ Operation
Set the PTZ settings in Camera Setup (refer to 3-3.1), in the PTZ operation mode, there is a “Red Cross” on
the center of the screen, move the mouse to the “Red Cross” and hold down the mouse left button to the
preferred location of the screen, DVR will move the PTZ camera to the preferred place.
PTZ Operation
2-6.1 UTC
This DVR supports UTC-enabled cameras through coaxial cable connection. Enter “Camera Setup”
, set the protocol to AHD-UTC 720p/1080p, and control the camera with the 8-direction key
in the PTZ Operation menu .
Click the center of the direction key to enable camera OSD. When the OSD is activated, use

the center of the direction key as “OK.”

2-8 Toolbar
In the live operation mode, move cursor to the top of window, toolbar will appear.

Chapter 3: Configuration Menu
Note: The initialization of new-installed HDD is required before recording, please refer to “Utility
Setup” for details.
3-1 Record Setup
Note: 1. Supported resolution as below:
Analog D1/960H or AHD 720p/1080p camera.
2. When DVR connected AHD 720p/1080p/D1 camera, the cameras must in pair,
for example, if CH01 connected with AHD 720p camera, then CH02 must be
the same resolution AHD 720p camera, otherwise the both video won't be show.
3. In cases where long distance transmission is required (over 100 feet), please use a 5C-FB
coaxial cable or above.

Schedule recording can configure recording time by days of a week and hour. With the A, B, C, D four settings,
users can set different recording scheme according to different configuration needs. In the day and time grid
map, select the schedule table, then press A, B, C, D one of the buttons to specify the settings.

3-1.2.2 Holiday Configuration
The number of customize holiday configuration up to 50. When the time comes to the specified holidays, the
DVR will start recording according to holiday configuration.
