Thank you for purchasing the DST-Mini Plus. This product has been designed to provide trouble free,
reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime technical support. To
ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future reference.
The DST-Mini Plus with VGA is a compact, multifunctional solution for hybrid workers. Housed in a robust
aluminium with a high-quality braded USB-C cable, this laptop docking station has been designed for
durability during travel. With support for HDMI and VGA, this product is ideal for those who have a legacy
monitor they wish to plug their device into.

Installation & Operation
The DisplayPort Alternate Mode uses the USB C connector as a video output without the need for
additional drivers or software. Please check that your computer supports this feature.
To begin using the DST-Mini Plus simply connect the USB Type C male connector to the USB Type C port
of your computer. Any required drivers will be automatically downloaded from the internet. Then connect
the HDMI socket and/or VGA socket of the DST-Mini Plus to the HDMI/VGA port of your monitor using
appropriate male to male cables (not included). Use a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable (not included) to
connect to your network. Additional USB devices can be connected to the USB Type A ports of the DST-
Mini Plus, USB 5Gbps data transfer rates are supported whilst legacy USB 2.0/1.1 devices may also be
connected. The SD and microSD card slots allow access to SD and micro SD cards.
By connecting a compatible USB Type C power supply (not included) it is also possible to charge your
Macbook or Notebook using the Type C Power Delivery port, just connect the power supply to the Power
Delivery port when required.
Note: To use the "MAC address pass-through" feature, the setting must be enabled in the BIOS. The
location of the setting varies for each manufacturer. Change the setting to Enabled, then exit the BIOS
while saving changes to the BIOS setting.

Installation & Betrieb
Der DisplayPort Alternate Mode verwendet den USB Typ C Anschluss als Videoausgang, eine Installation
von Treibern ist daher hierfür nicht erforderlich.
Stecken Sie den USB Typ C Stecker der DST-Mini Plus in die USB Typ C Buchse Ihres Computers. Der
Computer wird automatisch die erforderlichen Treiber installieren. Verbinden Sie dann den HDMI-
und/oder VGA-Anschluss der DST-Mini Plus mit dem Ihres HDMI/VGA-Monitors. Dazu benötigen Sie ein
HDMI- bzw. VGA-Kabel (Stecker/Stecker, nicht enthalten), welches im Allgemeinen Ihrem Monitor beiliegt.
Mit einem Standard-RJ45-Netzwerkkabel (nicht enthalten) können Sie die DST-Mini Plus ans Netzwerk
anbinden. An die drei USB Typ A Buchsen können USB 3.2 / 3.1 Gen 1 / USB 3.0-Geräte angeschlossen
werden. Sie sind auch abwärts kompatibel mit USB 2.0/1.1. Zwei Kartenslots erlauben den Zugriff auf SD-
oder microSD-Karten.
Über den USB Typ C Power Delivery Anschluss können Sie bei Bedarf mithilfe eines geeigneten
Netzteils (nicht enthalten) Ihr Macbook oder Notebook aufladen.
Um die Funktion "MAC address pass-through" zu nutzen, muss die Einstellung im BIOS aktiviert werden.
Aktivieren Sie die Einstellung und verlassen Sie anschließend das BIOS, während Sie die Änderungen
der vorher vorgenommenen BIOS-Einstellungen speichern.

Installation & Utilisation
Le mode alternatif DisplayPort utilise le connecteur USB C comme sortie vidéo sans avoir besoin de pilotes
ou de logiciels supplémentaires. Veuillez vérifier que votre ordinateur prend en charge cette fonction.
Pour commencer à utiliser cette DST-Mini Plus, il suffit de connecter le connecteur USB Type C mâle au
port USB Type C de votre ordinateur. Tous les pilotes nécessaires seront automatiquement téléchargés
à partir d'Internet.
Connectez la prise HDMI et/ou la prise VGA de la DST-Mini Plus au port HDMI/VGA de votre moniteur à

Installazione & Utilizzo
Lo standard USB C mette a disposizione opzionalmente la funzione DisplayPort Alternate Mode per poter
usare il connettore USB C anche come uscita video senza alcun driver o software addizionale. Controllate
che il vostro computer supporti questa funzione.
Collegate il connettore USB Tipo C maschio della DTS-Mini Plus ad una porta USB Tipo C del computer.
Eventuali driver verranno scaricati automaticamente da internet se necessari. Collegate schermi HDMI e/o
VGA alle relative porte della DST-Mini Plus tramite dei cavi maschio maschio (non inclusi). Utilizzate un
cavo di rete standard RJ45 (non incluso) per connettervi alla rete. Eventuali periferiche USB possono
essere connesse alle porte USB Tipo A con una velocità di trasferimento dati USB 5Gbps, compatibili
anche con periferiche USB 2.0/1.1. Schede SD e microSD possono essere connesse ai relativi slot.
Collegando un alimentatore USB Tipo C compatibile (non incluso) è possibile ricaricare un Macbook o

Instalación y funcionamiento
El modo alternativo DisplayPort utiliza el conector USB C como salida de vídeo sin necesidad de

Europe, United Kingdom
In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all
waste electrical and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and
electronic equipment. Instead, these products must enter the recycling process. Each individual EU
member state, as well as the UK, has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly
different ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic
products. More details can be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.
Germany / Deutschland Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte
Informationen für private Haushalte sowie gewerbliche Endverbraucher
Hersteller-Informationen gemäß § 18 Abs. 4 ElektroG (Deutschland)
Das Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz (ElektroG) enthält eine Vielzahl von Anforderungen an den
Umgang mit Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten. Die wichtigsten sind hier zusammengestellt.
1. Bedeutung des Symbols „durchgestrichene Mülltonne“
Das auf Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten regelmäßig abgebildete Symbol einer durchgestrichenen
Mülltonne weist darauf hin, dass das jeweilige Gerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer getrennt vom
unsortierten Siedlungsabfall zu erfassen ist.
2. Getrennte Erfassung von Altgeräten
Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte, die zu Abfall geworden sind, werden als Altgeräte bezeichnet. Besitzer von
Altgeräten haben diese einer vom unsortierten Siedlungsabfall getrennten Erfassung zuzuführen.
Altgeräte gehören insbesondere nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern in spezielle Sammel- und
Rückgabesysteme.
3. Batterien und Akkus sowie Lampen
Besitzer von Altgeräten haben Altbatterien und Altakkumulatoren, die nicht vom Altgerät umschlossen
sind, sowie Lampen, die zerstörungsfrei aus dem Altgerät entnommen werden können, im Regelfall vor
der Abgabe an einer Erfassungsstelle vom Altgerät zu trennen. Dies gilt nicht, soweit Altgeräte einer
Vorbereitung zur Wiederverwendung unter Beteiligung eines öffentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgungsträgers
zugeführt werden.
4. Möglichkeiten der Rückgabe von Altgeräten
Besitzer von Altgeräten aus privaten Haushalten können diese bei den Sammelstellen der öffentlich-
rechtlichen Entsorgungsträger oder bei den von Herstellern oder Vertreibern im Sinne des ElektroG
eingerichteten Rücknahmestellen unentgeltlich abgeben.
Rücknahmepflichtig sind Geschäfte mit einer Verkaufsfläche von mindestens 400 m² für Elektro- und
Elektronikgeräte sowie diejenigen Lebensmittelgeschäfte mit einer Gesamtverkaufsfläche von mindestens
800 m², die mehrmals pro Jahr oder dauerhaft Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte anbieten und auf dem Markt
bereitstellen. Dies gilt auch bei Vertrieb unter Verwendung von Fernkommunikationsmitteln, wenn die
Lager- und Versandflächen für Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte mindestens 400 m² betragen oder die
gesamten Lager- und Versandflächen mindestens 800 m² betragen. Vertreiber haben die Rücknahme
grundsätzlich durch geeignete Rückgabemöglichkeiten in zumutbarer Entfernung zum jeweiligen
Endnutzer zu gewährleisten.
Die Möglichkeit der unentgeltlichen Rückgabe eines Altgerätes besteht bei rücknahmepflichtigen
Vertreibern unter anderem dann, wenn ein neues gleichartiges Gerät, das im Wesentlichen die gleichen
Funktionen erfüllt, an einen Endnutzer abgegeben wird. Wenn ein neues Gerät an einen privaten Haushalt
ausgeliefert wird, kann das gleichartige Altgerät auch dort zur unentgeltlichen Abholung übergeben
werden; dies gilt bei einem Vertrieb unter Verwendung von Fernkommunikationsmitteln für Geräte der
Kategorien 1, 2 oder 4 gemäß § 2 Abs. 1 ElektroG, nämlich „Wärmeüberträger“, „Bildschirmgeräte“ oder
„Großgeräte“ (letztere mit mindestens einer äußeren Abmessung über 50 Zentimeter). Zu einer
entsprechenden Rückgabe-Absicht werden Endnutzer beim Abschluss eines Kaufvertrages befragt.
Außerdem besteht die Möglichkeit der unentgeltlichen Rückgabe bei Sammelstellen der Vertreiber
unabhängig vom Kauf eines neuen Gerätes für solche Altgeräte, die in keiner äußeren Abmessung größer
als 25 Zentimeter sind, und zwar beschränkt auf drei Altgeräte pro Geräteart.
