Introduction
Your Ultrasonic Nebulizer should be used under
the supervision o a licensed physician and/or a
respiratory therapist.
Thank you for purchasing an Ultrasonic
Nebulizer. With proper care and use, your
Nebulizer will provide you with many years of
reliable treatments.
Your Ultrasonic Nebulizer has been designed to
offer compact, portable and lightweight (under
1 lb.) convenience while receiving inhalation
treatments. This unit requires ordinary tap or
distilled water and your physician-prescribed
medication to create an effective high frequency
mist. Treatments can be administered discreetly
thanks to advanced ultrasonic technology
making your Nebulizer extremely quiet during
operation. An easy airflow volume control with
triple settings allows full control of treatment
levels as recommended by your physician
and/or respiratory therapist.
This unit operates on standard AC power or
battery pack. Treatments are delivered quickly,
safely and conveniently making this unit
appropriate for all ages.
We encourage you to thoroughly read this
guidebook to learn about the features of
your Ultrasonic Nebulizer. Together with your
physician and/or respiratory therapist, you can
feel comfortable and confident knowing that
you are obtaining effective inhalation
treatments for your respiratory condition.

Product Cautions
Please use general safety precautions when
operating your Nebulizer.
This unit should be used only for (1) its intended
purpose as described in this guidebook, and (2)
with medications only under the supervision and
instruction of your physician.
READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE USING
• To avoid electrical shock: Keep unit away from
water • Do not handle the unit or power cord
with wet hands • Do not immerse the AC
adapter or unit in liquid • Do not use while
bathing • Do not reach for a unit that has fallen
into water—immediately unplug the unit.
• Do not use the unit if it has any damaged parts
(including power cord or plug), if it has been
submersed in water or dropped. Promptly send
the unit for examination to us.
• The unit should not be used where flammable
gas, oxygen or aerosol spray products are being
used.
• Keep the air vents open. Do not place the unit
on a soft surface where the openings can be
blocked.
• f the water reservoir or medicine cup is
empty, do not attempt to operate the unit.
• Do not attempt to remove the transfer cone
located in the base of the water reservoir.
• f any abnormality occurs, discontinue use
until the unit has been examined and repaired.
• The unit should not be left unattended while
plugged in.
• Do not use solutions other than water in the
reservoir. t may damage the transducer.
• Do not tilt or shake the unit when in operation.
• Opening the cover during operation may cause
a severe injury.
• Disconnect the unit from the electrical outlet
before cleaning, filling and after each use.
• Do not use attachments unless
recommended by the manufacturer.
• The unit should not be used for more than
30 minutes at a time.
• Wait 30 minutes before reusing the unit.
Operatin Cautions
• Close adult supervision is highly recommended
when this unit is used by children or invalids.
• Keep your eyes away from the output of
medication mist.
• Change the water after each use.
• The maximum capacity of the medicine cup
is 7.5 ml. and should not be overfilled.

Your MiniBreeze Ultrasonic Nebulizer is guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of five
years from the date of purchase under normal use (this does not include the battery pack). This limited
warranty does not apply to use in any clinical or commercial applications. f the unit fails to operate during the
warranty period, return it postage prepaid along with $5.00 for return shipping and insurance to: MAB S
Healthcare, Attn: Return Department, 1931 Norman Drive, Waukegan, L 60085. When returning a product,
please also include a letter with your name, address, phone number and brief description of the specific
problem. Please carefully package the product to avoid any damage that may occur while in the transit.
Packaging insurance with returned receipt is recommended. f MAB S Healthcare determines that the unit
failed to operate due to a manufacturing defect, the unit will be replaced at the option of MAB S Healthcare.
Repair or replacement of the unit is the sole remedy under this limited warranty. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights, which vary from state to state. As a condition of this warranty, the enclosed warranty
registration card must be completed and sent to us within 10 days of the purchase date.
This Limited Warranty constitutes MAB S Healthcare’s only responsibility and obligation to repair and/or
replace materials or components. We make no other express or implied warranties, arising by operation of
law or otherwise, or any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use or purpose whether or not
the use or purpose has been disclosed to MAB S Healthcare in specifications, drawings or otherwise, and
whether or not MAB S Healthcare’s products are specifically designed and/or manufactured by MAB S
Healthcare for the buyer’s use or purposes, except for the limited warranty stated above. MAB S will not be
responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages or other loss, including,
but not limited to, damage to or loss of other property or equipment and personal injuries, whether to

Operatin Your Nebulizer
Follow the previous cleaning instructions prior to
using your Nebulizer for the first time, after each
use and after it has been stored for an extended
period.
Remember: Always unplug the Nebulizer be ore
cleaning and illing and a ter each use.
To fill the water reservoir,
1. Remove the transparent top
cover and medication cup by
pulling straight up, Fig. 1.
2. Select either tap or distilled
water* that has a temperature
range of 68ºF – 104ºF
(20ºC – 40ºC), Fig. 2.
*Distilled water is pre erred.
3. Fill the water reservoir with
tap or distilled water to the
indicated level (between the 2
lines located inside the water
reservoir), Fig. 3.
Remember: Do not use solutions other than water
in the reservoir. It may damage the transducer —
Fill to the correct level.
NOTE:
• The use of cool water (below 68ºF or 20ºC)
will result in a lower rate of nebulization.
• The use of warm water (above 104ºF or 40ºC)
will result in a higher rate of nebulization.
To fill the medicine cup,
1. Place the medicine cup above the water
reservoir.
2. Pour the medicine directly into the medicine
cup.
3. Replace the cover.
Remember:
• The maximum capacity o the medicine
cup is 7.5 ml. and should not be over illed.
• Dilute dense medications or medication
volumes 2 ml. or less with distilled water or
saline solution to obtain a volume o at least
4 ml.
• Only use medications under the instructions
o your physician.
Usin the AC adapter, DC
adapter or battery pack
Your Nebulizer operates by use of the AC
adapter, DC adapter or battery pack, all
included with your Nebulizer.
Usin the AC adapter and
DC adapter,
1) nsert the adapter plug into
the unit’s AC/DC port, Fig 4.
2) Plug the adapter into a
standard AC outlet or DC
outlet.
NOTE: t is not necessary to install the
battery pack when using AC or DC voltage.
However, you may wish to install the battery
pack for stability and storage purposes.
Usin the battery pack,
Your Ultrasonic Nebulizer can operate with the
use of a rechargeable battery when AC or DC
power is not available. The life of the battery is
approximately 2 years. However, battery life
will vary depending on usage, storage and
charging conditions.
1) Snap the battery pack to the
bottom of the nebulizer,

2) Connect the adapter plug
into the unit as described
above, “Using the AC
adapter, DC adapter”.
3) To charge the battery, plug
the adapter into a standard
outlet, based on the
following:
Char in Time
1st Time use: 24 hours
Thereafter: 4-12 hours
4) Unplug the adapter after the battery is fully
charged.
IMPORTANT:
• For first time use or after storing the
battery for a period of time, charge the
battery at least 24 hours. Thereafter, it is
only necessary to charge 4 to 12 hours
depending on the length of usage.
• A fully charged battery will last for 20-30
minutes of continuous use.
• To prolong the life of the battery, only
charge the battery when the low-battery
light flashes.

• Do not use this unit while operating a vehicle.
• f any discomfort or abnormality occurs,
stop using the unit immediately.
Stora e Cautions
• Do not store the unit in direct sunlight, high
temperature or humidity.
• Keep the unit out of reach of small children.
• Always keep the unit unplugged while not
in use.
Cleanin Cautions
• Check the medication cup, air filter, masks,
gasket, extension tube, mouth and nasal pieces
and air filter before each use. Dirty or worn parts
should be replaced.
• Do not immerse the unit in water. t may
damage the unit.
• Disconnect the unit from the electrical outlet
before cleaning.
• Clean all necessary parts after each use as
instructed in this guidebook.
Battery Cautions
• Do not use the battery with equipment other
than your MiniBreeze Ultrasonic Nebulizer,
or attempt to modify it for other use.
• Do not store the battery in direct sunlight,
high temperature or high humidity.
• Avoid placing the battery on metal or wet
surfaces or inside a metal box. This may
short-circuit the battery’s positive and
negative contact causing the battery to
heat up or explode.
Cleanin Procedures
t is important to clean your Nebulizer before the
first time it is used and after each use.
Remember: Disconnect the unit rom the electrical
outlet and never immerse the unit in water.
Cleanin the parts:
The mouth piece, nasal piece, water reservoir,
masks, extension tube, cover, medicine cap, air
filter cover, air filter, and fan should be cleaned
with a mild detergent or commercially available
disinfectant. (Use a non-metal tool to carefully
remove the air filter cover, air filter and fan.)
Thoroughly rinse each part and allow to
completely air dry before using.
Cleanin the main body:
The main body should be cleaned with a soft
cloth moistened with a non-abrasive cleanser
and water.

NOTE:
Your Nebulizer is equipped with one battery
lamp. t is the first lamp on top of the front.
1) f this lamp, Fig. 6, changes from green to
red during use, the rate of nebulization
will decrease, then cease, indicating that the
battery needs to be charged. f this occurs,
(1) Press the POWER
button to turn off.
(2) Replace with a fully
charged battery or
connect to the
adapter.
(3) Press the POWER
button and continue
treatment.
To start the unit,
IMPORTANT! Your unit has one ‘POWER’ switch
on the front of the unit.
1. Place the unit on a solid, flat dry surface
making sure that the water reservoir and
medicine cup have been properly filled and
the mouth nozzle or other attachments are
properly connected to the cover.
2. Press the ‘POWER’ button.
To adjust the airflow, and nebulizer rate,
1. Your Ultrasonic Nebulizer has 3 airflow
settings: High, Medium and Low. The default
airflow setting is High when turned ON.
2. Based on instructions from
your physician and/or
respiratory therapist,
press the airflow button
to adjust the airflow
volume. The Airflow
Volume ndicator Lights
will show the level (high,
medium or low) selected,

To be in a treatment,
1. Follow the instructions provided by your
physician and/or respiratory therapist.
2. Your Nebulizer is designed to start at a
lower atomization rate in the beginning and
will become stronger after a few minutes.
NOTE: Although many medications are
delivered within six minutes, thicker medications
will take longer to nebulize. The viscosity of the
medication and airflow setting may result in
longer treatment times and reduced battery life
between recharges.
Remember:
• Keep your eyes away rom the output o
medication mist.
• I any discom ort or abnormality occurs, stop
using the unit immediately.
• Do not tilt or shake the unit when in operation.
• Opening the cover during operation may cause
a severe injury.
To end a treatment,
1. When the treatment has ended, press the
POWER button. Otherwise, your unit will
automatically shut off after approximately 10
minutes of non-use.
2. Unplug the adapter from the outlet and detach
the adapter plug from the unit’s AC/DC port.
3. Dispose excess medication and water before
disconnecting the battery.
4. Allow the unit to cool — approximately
20-30 minutes.
Remember:
• The unit should not be used or more than
30 minutes at a time.
• Wait 30 minutes be ore reusing the unit.
After every use,
1. Allow the unit to completely cool.
2. Remove the cover.
3. Carefully remove the medicine cup and
pour out remaining medication.
4. Empty the water reservoir.
5. Gently wipe the water reservoir and
transfer cone with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Remember, the transfer cone should not
be removed.
6. Follow the cleaning procedures provided
in this guidebook.

Su Nebulizador Ultrasónico debe usarse bajo la
supervisión de un médico matriculado y/o ter-
apeuta de vías respiratorias.
Gracias por comprar un nebulizador ultrasónico. Con
el uso y cuidado adecuados, su nebulizador le pro-
porcionará muchos años de tratamientos confiables.
Su nebulizador ultrasónico ha sido diseñado para
ofrecer practicidad compacta, portátil y liviana
(menos de 1 libra/453 g) mientras recibe
tratamientos de inhalación. Esta unidad requiere
agua común del grifo o agua destilada y el
medicamento recetado por su médico para crear un
vapor de alta frecuencia eficaz. Los tratamientos

por vez.

Cómo limpiar las partes
La pieza para la boca, la pieza para la nariz, el
recipiente del agua, las máscaras, la tubería de
extensión, la tapa, la tapa del medicamento, la
cubierta del filtro de aire, el filtro de aire y el
ventilador deben limpiarse con un detergente
suave o un desinfectante disponible comercial-
mente. (Use una herramienta no metálica para
retirar con cuidado la tapa del filtro de aire, el
filtro de aire y el ventilador). Enjuague bien
cada parte y deje que se seque bien antes de
usar.

• Revise la taza del medicamento, el filtro de
aire, máscaras, arandela, tubo extensor, piezas
nasal y bucales antes de cada uso. Cambie las
partes sucias o dañadas.
• No sumerja la unidad en agua. Puede dañar la
unidad.
• Desconecte la unidad del toma eléctrico antes
de limpiarla.
• Limpie todas las piezas necesarias después de
cada uso, según se indica en esta guía.
Precauciones sobre la batería
• No use la batería con otros equipos
distintos al Nebulizador Ultrasónico
MiniBreeze, ni trate de modificarla para otro
uso.
• No guarde la batería bajo la luz directa, o a
alta temperatura o humedad.
• Evite colocar la batería sobre metal o superfi-
cies húmedas o dentro de una caja de metal.
Podría producir un corto circuito en el positi-
vo y negativo de la batería, lo que causaría
que la batería explotara o se recalentara.
Procedimientos de limpieza
Es importante limpiar su Nebulizador antes de la
primera vez que lo use y después de cada uso.
Recuerde: Desconecte la unidad del toma eléctrico
y nunca la sumerja en el agua.
Cómo operar el Nebulizador
Siga las instrucciones previas de limpieza antes
de usar su nebulizador por primera vez, luego
de cada uso y después de que haya sido
guardado por un largo tiempo.
Recuerde: Siempre desconecte el Nebulizador y
apague el interruptor en la parte in erior antes de
limpiar y llenar y después de cada uso.
Para llenar el depósito de
agua:
1. Quite la tapa superior trans-
parente y la taza para el
medicamento jalando hacia
arriba, Fig. 1.
2. Seleccione agua del grifo o
destilada* con una
temperatura de
68°F - 104°F
(20°C - 40°C), Fig. 2.
*Es pre erible agua
destilada.
3. Llene el depósito de agua
con agua del grifo o
destilada hasta el nivel indi-
cado (entre las 2 líneas ubi-
cadas dentro del depósito
de agua), Fig. 3
Recuerde: No use soluciones distintas al agua
dentro del depósito. Pueden dañar el transductor.
Llene hasta el nivel correcto.
Nota:
• El uso de agua fría (inferior a 68°F ó 20°C)
reducirá la velocidad de
nebulización.
• El uso de agua caliente (superior a 104°F ó
40°C) aumentará la velocidad de
nebulización.
Para llenar la taza del medicamento
1. Coloque la taza del medicamento sobre el
recipiente de agua.
2. Vierta el medicamento directamento
dentro de la taza.
3. Coloque la cubierta.
Recuerde:
• La capacidad máxima de la taza del
medicamento es de 7,5 ml. y no debe llenarla
en exceso.
• Diluya los medicamentos densos o de 2 ml. de
volumen o menos con agua
destilada o una solución salina para obtener
un volumen de al menos 4 ml.
• Sólo use medicamentos bajo la
supervisión de su médico.

estabilidad y almacenamiento.
Cómo usar la batería
Su nebulizador ultrasónico puede funcionar con
el uso de una batería recargable cuando la
energía CA o CC no esté disponible. La vida útil
de la batería es de aproximadamente 2 años. Sin
embargo, la vida útil de la batería varía según
las condiciones de uso, almacenamiento y
carga.

batería esté completamente cargada.
IMPORTANTE
• Para el primer uso o después de guardar la
batería por un tiempo prolongado,
cargue la batería durante al menos 24 horas.
En lo sucesivo, sólo es necesario cargarla de 4
a 12 horas, dependiendo del tiempo de uso.
• Una batería totalmente cargada permitirá de
20 a 30 minutos de uso continuo.
• Para prolongar la vida de la batería,
cambie la batería solamente cuando titile la
luz que indica que hay poca batería.

NOTA:
Su nebulizador está equipado con una lámpara
de batería. Es la primera lámpara en la parte
superior del frente.
1) Si esta lámpara, Fig. 6, cambia de verde a
rojo durante el uso, la velocidad de la nebu-
lización disminuirá, luego se detendrá, indi-
cando que se debe cargar la batería. Si esto
ocurre:
1) Presione el botón de
ENCEND DO (Potencia)
para apagar la unidad.
2) Cámbiela por una
batería totalmente
cargada o conecte la
unidad al adaptador.
3) Presione el botón de
ENCEND DO (Potencia) y
continúe el tratamiento.
Para comenzar la unidad
IMPORTANTE: Su unidad posee uno
interruptor de ENCEND DO.
1. Coloque la unidad sobre una superficie lisa y
seca, verificando que el depósito de agua y la
taza del medicamento se han llenado
correctamente y que la pieza bucal u otros
accesorios estén conectados adecuadamente a
la cubierta.
2. Presione el botón de ENCEND DO.
Para ajustar el flujo de aire y la
velocidad del nebulizador:
1. Su Nebulizador Ultrasónico tiene 3
posiciones para el flujo
de aire: Alta, mediana y
baja. La configuración
predeterminada del flujo
de aire es alta (“High”)
cuando se enciende
(”ON”).
2. Según las indicaciones de
su médico o terapeuta en
vías respiratorias,
presione el botón de flujo
de aire para ajustar el volumen deseado. Las
Luces ndicadoras del Volumen de Flujo de
Aire mostrarán el nivel (alto, mediano o bajo)
seleccionado, Fig. 7.
Para comenzar el tratamiento
1. Siga las indicaciones de su médico y/o
terapeuta de vías respiratorias.
2. Su Nebulizador fue diseñado para
comenzar a una velocidad baja de
atomización y se tornará más fuerte después
de unos minutos.
NOTA:Si bien el proceso de nebulización de
muchos medicamentos se hace dentro de
los seis minutos, los medicamentos más
densos tardarán más en nebulizarse. Según la
viscosidad de la medicación y la configuración
del flujo de aire esposible que se necesiten
tratamientos más largos y se disminuya la
duraciónde la baterías entre recargas.
Recuerde:
• Mantenga los ojos alejados de la salida de vapor del
medicamento.
• Si se produce alguna anomalía o
incomodidad, deje de usar la unidad de inmediato.
• No agite ni gire la unidad cuando esté en
uncionamiento.
• El abrir la cubierta durante el uncionamiento
puede dañar severamente la unidad
Para terminar el tratamiento
1. Cuando terminó el tratamiento, presione el botón
de ENCEND DO. Coloque el interruptor en la
parte inferior en la posición
APAGADA/CARGA. De lo contrario, la unidad se
apagará automáticamente después de 10 minu-
tos de no usarse.
2. Desenchufe el adaptador del toma eléctrico y
quite el enchufe del adaptador del puerto de CA
de la unidad.
3. Deshágase del medicamento en exceso y del
agua antes de desconectar la batería.
4. Deje que la batería se enfríe,
aproximadamente de 20 a 30 minutos.
Recuer de:
• No debe usar la unidad durante más de 30 minu-
tos por vez.
• Espere 30 minutos antes de volver a
usarla.
Después de cada uso
1. Permita que la unidad se enfríe por
completo.
2. Quite la cubierta.
3. Quite con cuidado la taza del
medicamento y vierta el medicamento
restante.
4. Vacíe el depósito de agua.
5. Suavemente seque el depósito de agua y el
cono de transferencia con un paño suave y
libre de pelusa. Recuerde que no debe quitar el
cono de transferencia.
6. Siga los procedimientos de limpieza de esta
guía.
