Only suitably qualified persons experienced in Mechanical
assembly and handling, should attempt to take on this task, so it’s
achieved in a safe manner.
Always wear clothing and safety equipment that is fit for the job at
hand. When conducting re-assembly or maintenance work always
support machine properly, where possible always lower the
attachmentor implement to the ground before working on the machine.
The crane or lifting device must be capable of lifting a minimum load
of 3 tonnes (3,000 kg). Only use chains or strapping that are rated for a
minimum load of 2.5 tonnes (2,500 kg) per chain or strap when using
the lift eye locationson the chassis.
Never go under a suspended machine or attempt to try and stop it if
moving erratically, death or serious injury may result. Always be
observant of people and objects around the suspended machine and do
not allow the machine to impact heavilyon the ground after suspension
or movement.
The operator manual should be used along with these instructions for
full specifications. Only competent persons who have read and fully
understood the operator’s manual are qualified to operate this machine.

Remove all plastic shrink wrap
carefully and recycle
responsibly.
Remove bogie tandems and
box of spare parts from pallet
first.
Note: PTO shafts are secured
to rear of box.

Using a suitable crane, chains
and slings, remove all heavy
items from pallet.

Carefully set aside parts for the rake as shown.

Set centre chassis with rotor
arms in clear space for
assembly.
Lift centre chassis with rotor
arms using lifting eyes as
shown.
Using a suitable second crane
and sling, lift LH side rear
chassis as shown.

Pull out loom (red) from centre chassis and route through LH side rear
chassis as shown.
Secure LH side rear chassis
with M16x50bolts, M16
contact lock washers (on both
sides) and M16 steel lock nuts
provided.
Leave bolts loose at this stage.
Using a suitable second crane
and sling, lift RH side rear
chassis as shown.

Pull out loom (green) from centre chassis and route through RH side rear
chassis as shown.
Secure RH side rear chassis
with M16x50bolts, M16
contact lock washers (on both
sides) and M16 steel lock nuts
provided.
Leave bolts loose at this stage.
Attach spare tine arm holder
bracket to the rear chassis’
and secure with M16x80 bolts,
M16 contact lock washers (on
both sides) and M16 steel lock
nuts provided.
Leave bolts loose at this stage.

Secure both rear chassis’ with
the last M16x50 bolts, M16
contact lock washers (on both
sides) and M16 steel lock nuts
provided.
Tighten all bolts fully.
Torque bolts to 240Nm.
Attach wheel chock to the LH
side rear chassis and secure
with M8x25 setscrews and M8
flat washers provided.

Attach steering arm bracket
in-between the rear chassis’
and secure with M12x60 bolts,
bushes, M12 SKM washers
and M12 nyloc nuts provided.
Using a suitable crane and
sling, lift rear chassis’ as
shown.
3 steering rods are provided
with rake.
The longer steering rod links
from the steering rod
underneath the centre chassis
to the steering arm bracket.
The 2 smaller steering rods
link from the steering arm
bracket to the axle arms.
