You have bought a MICROSON hearing aid featuring the
latest digital technology.
Your hearing device is the result of years of research and
development and is designed to make sure you enjoy all the
sounds of life.
The team at Microson would like to wish you great success
with it.

hOW iT WORKs
The RIC (Receiver in Canal) device is a type of hearing aid
that can be partially adapted to the EEC (External Ear Canal).
It is similar to a behind-the-ear hearing aid, but in this case
the receiver goes inside the EEC, fitted via a standard dome
/ adapter or a custom made earmould.
MICROPHONE: receives the sound and converts it into an
electrical signal.
AMPLIFIER: digital processor that receives the signal and adapts
it to the parameters introduced for each loss.
RECEIVER: converts the electrical signal back into sound and
transmits it into the user's ear.
Microson hearing aids are designed for correcting hearing
problems and compensating for hearing loss by selective
sound amplification. Your hearing aids should be fitted by a
hearing care specialist.
For safe use, read the instructions in this manual carefully.
This manual was drawn up in compliance with the EN 1041
and EN 980 standards.

This product must not be disposed together with the
domestic waste. All users are obliged to hand in all electrical or
electronic devices, regardless of whether or not they contain
toxic substances, at a municipal or commercial collection
point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally
acceptable manner. Remove the batteries before disposing
of the equipment. Do not dispose of old batteries with your
household waste, but dispose of them at a battery collection
station at a recycling site or in a shop. Consult your municipal
authority or your dealer for information about disposal.
Within the European Union, the marked equipment
is covered by “Directive 2002/96/EC of the
European Paliament and of the Council of 27
January 2003 on waste electrical andelectronical
equipment.”Amended by “Directive 2003/108/EC”
(WEEE).

WARNING!
- It is dangerous to swallow batteries. Keep batteries out of
the reach of children.
- Never use your hearing aids in places where there is
medical equipment (X-ray, high frequency, magnetic
resonance or short-wave therapy treatments).
- Do not use the hearing aids in areas where there is a risk
of explosion!
- m4 RIC / m2 RIC hearing aids can generate output levels
in excess of 132 dBSPL.
CAUTION!
- Protect your hearing aids against moisture and sources of
heat.
- Do not use your hearing aids while showering, swimming
or spraying your hair.
- Protect your hearing aids from hard knocks.
- Never use a microwave or other heat emitters to dry your
hearing aids.
- Regular use of a dehumidifier is recommended to keep
your hearing aid in optimum working conditions: Ask your
hearing care specialist.
INFORMATION
- Remove the batteries if you do not intend to use your
hearing aids for a long time.
- Replace spent batteries immediately.
- Do not dispose of spent batteries with normal household
waste! Take them to the hearing care specialist for proper
disposal without harming the environment.

DOMES / ADAPTERS AND MOULDS
WARNING!
Risk of injuries caused by incorrect use of the domes/
adapters or moulds..
Always use the receiver tube with an receiver dome/
adapter or mould.
Make sure that the receiver domes/adapters or moulds
are correctly attached to the earpiece tube (press until you
hear a click).
If the receiver dome / adapter or mould becomes lodged in
the ear, ask a medical professional to remove it.
Carefully insert the earpiece tube in the ear with the earpiece
dome/adapter or mould without inserting it too far.
Only use the earpiece tube and the earpiece dome/ adapter
or mould as described in this User Manual.

Indicates possible damage or alteration of the
hearing aid or any of its components.
Operating instructions.
Indicates that it is important to follow the advice
and warnings contained in this document.
Thanks to CE marking, Microson conrms that
its hearing aids comply with European Directive
93/42 EEC concerning medical devices.
This symbol indicates that the products
described in these user instructions adhere to
the requirements for a Type B component under
IEC 60601-2-66. The surface of the hearing aid is
specied as a Type B component.
The symbol with the crossed-out garbage bin
warns you that this hearing aid may not be
disposed of with normal household waste.
Please return your hearing aid to your hearing
healthcare professional or a collection point for
safe, environmentally-friendly disposal.

1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Insert the battery with the “+” symbol facing upwards
and close the battery compartment.
If the battery is not inserted correctly, the
hearing aid will not work.
3. To remove the battery, turn the hearing aid upside down,
open the battery compartment and allow it to drop into
your hand.
REMEMBER THAT YOUR HEARING AID WILL BEEP FOUR TIMES TO
LET YOU KNOW WHEN THE BATTERY IS SPENT.

Your hearing aids are totally automatic, meaning that the
volume adjusts automatically to the different acoustic
environments where you happen to be.
You can also choose preset programmes in your hearing
aids to adapt to your usual environments.

When you press the button you will
hear tones that will let you know which
programme you are using.
Example: (Two tones: programme 2)
Follow your hearing care specialist
instructions to get the most from your
hearing aids.
Each programme enables the device to
be adapted to different environments or
situations of everyday life.
For example, your hearing aids may have
these programmes:
1- Normal.
2- Restaurant.
3- Telephone*.
4- Traffic.

Fit the adapter into the notch of the
dome package.
Insert the new dome in the receiver
until you hear a click.
Hold the adapter and pull the receiver
downwards to release it.
Align the earpiece joint with the
notch.

1. Turn the receiver tube 45º counter clockwise.
2. Remove the receiver tube.
Your hearing care specialist will change the receiver when
necessary.
If you need to replace the receiver without assistance, follow
these instructions carefully.

3. Connect the hearing aid and the receiver tube.
4. Turn the receiver tube 45º clockwise.

Insert the mould or adapter into the ear canal.
Place the hearing aid behind the ear.
Check that the device is correctly supported.
INFORMATION
- Clean your hearing aid regularly, using specially designed
wipes. (Consult your specialist).
- Regular use of a dehumidifier is recommended to keep
your hearing aid in optimum working conditions. (Consult
your specialist).
- Always have a spare battery available.
Do not wash your hearing aid!
DOMES / ADAPTERS
Cerumen (ear wax) in the domes / adapters or moulds
affects sound quality.
Clean the domes / adapters or moulds immediately after
removing the receiver with a soft cloth. No other tools are
required.
maiNTENaNcE aND caRE
For optimum operation we recommend using your
hearing aids within a range of 0 / 40 ˚C (degrees Celsius).
Likewise, the relative humidity during storage should
not exceed 95%.

Dome / adaptörler veya kalıpları hoparlör çıkardıktan hemen
sonra yumuşak br bezle temzleyn. Başka herhang br alet
kullanılması gerekmez.
