Please follow these instrucons with care before

PAY ATTENTION

TO AVOID INJURY OR DEATH:
• Always apply the brakes whenever
the stroller is staonary.
• Retain this manual for future
reference.
• Read all instrucons carefully before
assembly and rst use of this stroller.
Always follow the instrucons. The
correct use and maintenance of this
product is essenal. Failure to follow
these instrucons might void your
product warranty and put your child’s
safety at risk.
• Follow the manufacturers
instrucons.
• The seat is not suitable for children
under 6 months.
• This stroller is intended for children
from birth and up to 17 kg (37 lbs)
and height 90 cm. When used for
children under the age of 6 months
we recommend to use the carrycot
supplied in the seat unl the child can
sit unaided.
• This stroller can be used for
transporng a maximum of two
children at a me. When used with
two toddlers, the recommended
maximum load is 17 kg (37 lbs) in the
upper seat and 17 kg (37 lbs) in the
lower seat.
• The maximum weight of the child
using this product is not to exceed
17kg (37 lbs) for the stroller or 9kg
(20 lbs) for the carrycot or 9kg (20
lbs). Excessive weight may cause a
hazardous unstable condion.
• The maximum weight allowed in
basket is 3 kg (6.5 lbs).
i!!WARNINGS!
• Your child’s safety is your
responsibility.
• It is dangerous to leave your child
unaended in the stroller.
• Ensure that all the locking devices are
engaged before use.
• Do not add an addional maress in
the carrycot, only use the maress
provided by mima.
• As soon as your child can sit in the
seat unaided make sure to always use

the safety harness. Ensure that the
harness is ed correctly to prevent
the risk of your child sliding or falling
out.
• Any load aached to the handle
aects the stability of kobi and
excessive loads increase the risk of it
pping over accidentally.
• Always use the crotch strap in
combinaon with the waist belt.
• Never leave the harness buckled
when not ed to a child in the
stroller because the harness can form
loops which may pose a strangulaon
hazard.
• This product is not suitable for
running or skang.
• Do not stand on the crossbars
between the wheels. This is unsafe
and may damage the stroller.
• Check that the carrycot and/or seat
are installed correctly and securely
locked in place before usage.
• Always apply the brake when standing
sll even for only a few moments!
• Always use the wrist tether strap to
prevent the stroller from rolling away.
(For Australia & New Zealand only)
• Check that all safety locks are
engaged before placing a child in the
stroller.
• Make sure children are clear of
any moving parts before making
adjustments or folding/unfolding the
stroller to avoid injury. Ensure that
ngers are kept away from the folding
mechanism when folding the stroller
to avoid injury.
• Do not use the stroller if any parts are
damaged or missing. It may be unsafe
to use replacement parts that or not
supplied by mima, and this may void
your warranty.
• Do not let children play with this
product.
• The carrycot is suitable for a child
who cannot sit up by himself, roll over
and cannot push himself up on its
hands and knees. Maximum weight of
the child: 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The upright posions are not suitable
for use with children less than six
months old. When using the stroller
for children under the age of six
months we recommend to use the
supplied carrycot unl the child can
sit unaided.

• Do not carry more than two children
on this stroller at the one me.
• Never let go of the stroller when
parked on an incline because it may
slide or p over. Always park on a at
surface.
• Always remove the child from the
stroller before going up or down stairs
or escalators. Use an elevator when
possible.
• Do not li the stroller by the safety
bar because it may disengage.
• Do not allow children to stand on the
seat.
• Do not hang bags or goods from the
handle as this could cause the stroller
to p over.
• To prevent the risk of the stroller
catching re, do not park it near
an exposed heat source such as a
radiator or an open re.
• Always lock swivel wheels when
on rough surfaces as this will help
eliminate wheel wobble.
• It is unsafe to use accessories other
than those tested and approved by
mima. To ensure safe use, only use
accessories designed for this stroller.
• The stroller is designed for use on at
or gently sloping surfaces and may
be unstable on steeper slopes and
uneven surfaces; and users should be
aware of the possibility of the stroller
pping over in these condions.
• For warnings on accessories - refer to
their individual instrucon manual.
The maximum weight varies for each
accessory.
• When a child is in the carrycot or
seat, the canopy must be aached at
all mes.
• This product will become unstable if a
parcel bag or rack is used when there
is no provision for one.
• Be careful when folding and unfolding
the product to prevent nger
entrapment.
SAFETY WARNING
• The sun is very strong. DO NOT LEAVE
YOUR CHILD EXPOSED TO THE SUN.
The canopy or hood on this product
will not give your child adequate
protecon from the harmful rays of
the sun.

GETTING STARTED
MUDGUARDS
• PleasenotetheL/Rindicaononthechassisandon
each mudguard.
1. Aach mudguards
Slide the mudguard down onto the oval-shaped
protrusion on the side of the chassis. Push the boom lip
down unl it clicks in place.
2. Remove mudguards
Pull the boom lip up of the mudguard and slide it up and
free from the round-shaped protrusion.
WHEELS
• PleasenotetheL/Rindicaononthechassisandon
each wheel.
3. Aach rear wheels
Press the wheel axle hub in and insert the axle into the
wheel ng. Check if the wheels are properly aached by
aempng to pull them out again.
4. Remove rear wheels
Press the wheel axle hub in and pull the wheel o.
5. Aach front wheels
Insert the wheel rod into the wheel ng and push it in
unl it clicks.
6. Front wheel swivel lock
Use the front wheel swivel lock when you are using kobi
on rough terrain.
Push the swivel lock buon down to acvate. Pull it up
again to deacvate it.
7. Remove front wheels
Press the unlock buon and pull out the front wheel.

UNFOLDING AND FOLDING
• WARNING: Child should not be near to the stroller
when folding or unfolding the stroller!
• Ensure the brake is applied while folding and unfolding
the chassis.
8. Unfold the chassis
Push the frame lock inwards to unlock the handlebar,
and pull the handlebar upwards. Place your foot on the
brake bar and connue to pull the handlebar upwards and
towards yourself unl it clicks.
9. Folding the chassis (with seat aached)
• kobicanbefoldedwithaseataached(initsupright
posionandforwardfacingonly)
• kobicannotbefoldedwiththecarrycotaachednor
withthesecondseataached.
• Remove the changing bag from the basket when
foldingwithseataached.
Make sure the rear seat xings on the chassis are in
posion 1. Push the safety buon down and pull the two
folding locks upwards. Then lower the handlebar unl it
clicks onto the frame lock.
10. Fold chassis for standing
• kobicanstanduponitsownforeasystorage.
Before folding, rotate the handlebar into posion 4 (see
g. 11). Makesurethebasketisemptybeforeliingup
the chassis.
HANDLEBAR HEIGHT
11. Adjust handlebar height
Press and hold both buons located on the outside of
the handlebar and rotate the handlebar to the desired
posion.

PARKING BRAKE

12. Apply and release parking brake
Press the brake pedal down to park.
Press it down again to release. Do not aempt to push up
the brake pedal with your foot.
PHASE 1: BABY
CARRYCOT
• When using kobi for children under the age of 6
months,werecommendusingthesuppliedcarrycot
unlthechildcansitunaided.
• Aachthecarrycottotheupperpartofthechassis,not
tothelowerpartunlesscarryingtwocarrycotsatthe
sameme.
13. Set up carrycot
Zip open the seat and take out the carrycot. Push the two
aps underneath the carrycot tube. Place the maress
inside the carrycot and aach the safety bar (see g. 31)
and the canopy.
14. Adjust carrycot angle
It is easier to t the carrycot onto the chassis if the
aachment brackets are in posion III, poinng straight
downwards. To do this, pull the angle adjustment lever
and rotate the brackets by hand. The carrycot angle can
also be adjusted when ed to the chassis.
15. Aach carrycot
Posion the carrycot so that the angle adjustment lever
is at the front end of the stroller. Lower the carrycot onto
the chassis unl it clicks in place.

16. Remove carrycot
Press the two buons on both sides of the carrycot and
li it o.
17. Adjust height of carrycot
• Therearetwoheightposionsforthecarrycot.
Press the height adjustment buons on both sides of the
chassis and move the carrycot up or down.
18. Collapse carrycot
Remove the maress and the safety bar. Release the
sideaps from the carrycot frame. Open the seat and
posion the collapsed carrycot inside the seat. Align the
angle adjustment lever with the hole in the rear shell of
the seat. Make sure the seat brackets are clear of the
seat.

PHASE 2: TODDLER
SAFETY HARNESS
• Wheneverachildisplacedintheseat,ensurethe
safetyharnessiscorrectlyed.
• Theshoulderstrapscanbesetattwodierentheight
posions.Choosetheposionclosesttothetopofthe
child´s shoulders.
19. Set up harness
Take each harness aachment and slide o the boom
secon. Push the harness aachment through its
corresponding hole in the seatpad and the seat. Zip the
seat open and slide the boom secon onto the harness
aachment from the inside of the seat unl it clicks into
place.
20. Buckle up
Push the shoulder strap buckles into the buckle slot unl
it clicks. Pull the loose ends on the shoulder straps to t
the harness snugly around the child.
21. Buckle down
Push the central buckle buon to release the harness.

SEAT

22.Aach seat
Lower the seat onto the chassis unl it clicks in place.
23. Remove seat
Press the two seat release buons on both sides of the
seat and li it up.
24. Adjust seat angle
Pull the lever on the top of the seat up and rotate the seat
to the desired angle.
25. Adjust height of seat
• Therearetwoheightposionsfortheseat.
Press the height adjustment buons on both sides of the
chassis to move the seat up or down.

PHASE 3: TODDLER + BABY
CARRYCOT + SEAT
• Tousekobiforababyandatoddler,atwinseator
secondseatmustbepurchased.Thissecondseatdoes
nothaveacarrycotinside.
• Ifforusewithtwins,asecondtwinseatwithacarrycot
must be purchased.
• Setupthecarrycotasdescribedonpage 9.
26. Aach carrycot
Ensure that the lower seat´s height seng on the chassis
are in posion 1. Posion the carrycot so that the angle
adjustment lever is facing backwards.Rotate the brackets
into posion II (see also g. 14). Click the carrycot onto
the lower part of the chassis.
27. Aach seat
Ensure that the upper seat sengs on the chassis are
in the high posion. Posion the seat so that it is facing
forward. Click the seat onto the upper part of the chassis.

PHASE 4: TWO TODDLERS
TWO SEATS
• Tousekobi for two toddlers a second seat needs to
bepurchased.Asecondseatdoesnothaveacarrycot
inside.
• ThesecondseatcomeswithXLmudguards.Forthe
safetyofyourchildpleasemakesuretousetheseXL
mudguards.
• WARNING: When using kobifortwotoddlers,always
placetheheavierchildintheupperseat.Neverplacea
child in the lower seat without a child in the front seat.
• WARNING:DONOTUSETHISSEATWITHANYOTHER
MODELSOFPRAM/STROLLER.
28. Aach XL mudguards
Slide the small mudguards o (see g. 2) and replace
them with the XL mudguards.
29. Aach rear seat
Ensure the rear seat sengs on the chassis are in posion
2. Rotate the brackets into posion I (see g. 14).
Click the seat onto the lower part of the chassis.
30. Aach front seat
Click the seat onto the upper part of the chassis.

ACCESSORIES
SAFETY BAR
• Alwaysusethesafetybarforthesafetyofyourchild.
31. Remove safety bar covers
Push the buons in and slide the covers o. Keep the
covers in a safe place for future use.
32. Aach safety bar
While pressing the two buons on the outside of the
safety bar, push it down onto the seat frame, unl it clicks.
Check if the safety bar is properly aached by aempng
to pull it out.
33. Remove safety bar
Press the buons on the outside of the safety bar and pull
it up.
34. Adjust safety bar angle
While pressing the two buons on the inner side of the
safety bar, rotate it to the desired angle.

CANOPY
• IMPORTANT:Whenachildisinthecarrycotorseat,
thecanopymustbeaachedallmesThecanopycan
bexedtoboththecarrycotaswellastheseat.When
thecanopybecomeswet,keepitopenandletitdry
before closing it.
35. Aach canopy to seat or carrycot
Push the canopy clips onto the seat frame unl they click
in place. Fix the velcro ap to the seat.
36. Open/close canopy
Pull the canopy aps to open.
Push the canopy aps down to close.
37. Remove canopy
Release the velcro ap at the top of the canopy. Pull the
canopy clips outwards and pull them up to remove them
from the seat frame.
APRON
38. Aach apron to carrycot
First zip the apron ap onto the apron body. Place the
apron over the carrycot frame. Click the snap buons on
both sides of the apron onto the studs of the carrycot
frame.
39. Adjust apron
The upper apron ap can be placed into two dierent
posions, which are magnezed.
RAIN COVER
• Theraincovercanbexedtoboththeseataswellas
thecarrycot.
• Makesureyouaachthecanopybeforeaempngto
aachtheraincover.
40. Aach rain cover to seat or carrycot
Fully open the canopy. Place the rain cover over the
canopy so the rotaon lever goes through the hole in the
raincover. Stretch the rain cover over the seat or carrycot
and x the velcro straps around the seat brackets.

CHANGING BAG
• Remember to remove the changing bag prior to folding
thechassiswithaseataached.
41. Place bag in basket
Shorten the shoulder strap and wrap it around the bag.
Fix it at the boom with the velcro strap.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Tokeepkobiingoodcondion,pleaseperformthe
followingstepsregularly.
• Fabricsandplascsconformtothehighestgradeof
colourfastness;however,excessiveexposuretothesun
cancauseprematurefadingofplascsandfabrics.
CHASSIS CLEANING
Wash sand and salt o aer vising the beach. Brush o
excessive dirt. Then wipe clean with a moist cloth and a
mild cleaning agent.
LUBRICATING MOVING PARTS
Periodically lubricate the wheels, hinges and other sliding
parts using a light oil or silicon spray. Do not use heavy
oil as this will aract dust and grit which tend to clog and
damage moving parts.
SEAT CLEANING
The seat can be wiped clean with a moist cloth and a mild
cleaning agent. More resistent marks can be rubbed away
using a pencil eraser. The seat cushion and shoulder pads
can be removed (see g. 19) and must be washed by hand
only.
Please note the following:
- maximum temperature 30°C / 85°F
- do not bleach
- do not tumble dry
- do not iron
- do not dry clean.
CHECK OTHER PARTS
From me to me check your stroller for loose screws,
worn parts, torn material and loose stching.
Contact your retailer if parts need to be replaced or repair
the parts as needed.

Your product complies with current safety requirements and is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in
workmanship and material at me of purchase.
If this product shows material and/or manufacturing defects aer purchase and during the warranty period (with normal
use as described in the user manual), then please contact your retailer.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
• The warranty period is 24 months from the date of purchase. This warranty period cannot be extended, even in the
event of repair.
• For the warranty to be valid you need to:
1. have your product registered online at www.mimakids.com
2. provide the original purchase receipt to your retailer
3. provide a descripon of the defect to your retailer.
• The warranty is made to the original owner of the product and is not transferable to any subsequent owner.
• The warranty provides a right to repair.
The warranty does not apply in the following circumstances:
• The product has been modied or repaired by third pares other than a mima approved service center.
• Corrosion or rust on the wheels and chassis due to extreme environmental condions, including high humidity, salt spray,
ice or snow or due to insucient maintenance.
• The damage was caused by improper usage or maintenance or due to misuse by the user; in parcular, failure to comply
with these instrucons for use as described in this user manual.
• The damage was caused as the result of an accident or airline/ transport damage.
• Discoloraon or damage to the fabric due to improper cleaning, rainwater, or excessive exposure to sunlight.
• The damage is the result of overloading (exceeding the maximum weight allowance for the child and any items being
carried) on the stroller.
