8.0 FAQs
Q: Can the rider operate the Mobile Stairlift EZ Lite Evacuation Chair alone?
A: No.
Q: How much space do I need on staircase landings?
A: When going from one flight of stairs to another flight of stairs, we recommend a landing
minimum of 38” x 38” to adequate room to land and make the turn. When going up
or down a single flight of stairs we recommend 40” for the top landing, and 38” for
the bottom landing.
Q: Can the chair be used in more than one location?
A: Yes, the chair folds up small enough to fit in most car trunks, and it is meant to be
transported wherever it is needed!
Q: Will this work on carpeted stairs? How about Wood, Cement, etc.?
A: Yes, the EZ Lite Evacuation Chair is made to work on all surfaces. On carpeted stairs, the
carpet must be fully attached to the stairs. It will not work with unattached carpets: the
tracks will not be able to grip properly and may slip during use.
Q: So the EZ Lite Evacuation Chair will work on cement, wood, iron and all types of stair
surfaces, but what about different shaped staircases, like round staircases?
A: The Mobile Stairlift EZ Lite Evacuation Chair does not work on round staircases.
