Pairing with an Android Handset
TheBTH-600-ZU-MOBspeakermicrophoneisdesigned
toworkwithhandsetsrunningtheAndroidoperating
system. Prior to normal operation, the handset and
speaker microphone must be paired together using
the followingprocess:
NFC Pairing
1.
Makesure thatthe handset’s NFCfeatureisturnedon.
2.
PowerontheBluetoothspeakermicrophonebypressing
and holding the multifunction button forone second.
3.
TouchtheBluetoothspeakermicrophonetothe NFCsensorofthephone.
4.
Apop-upmessageshouldappearonthescreenofthephoneaskingifyou
would like to pair the two devices. Tap “Yes” to complete the pairing.
Concentional Pairing
1.
Activatethepairingmodeonthespeakermicrophonebyholdingdownthepairingbutton
untilthestatusLEDflashesBLUE-RED-BLUE-REDcontinuouslyinsequence
2.
Onyour phone, gotoSettings > Bluetooth.
Move the Bluetooth slider to turn the phone's Bluetooth radio on.
3.
Select “Search for Devices” from the phone’s Bluetooth menu.
Thephonewill scanfor nearbyBluetooth
4.
Choose“PTT-600” from thelist.
5.
Keepthephoneandspeakermicneareachotherandwaitafewseconds.
Thedevices willpair toeachother.
Reconnecting a Previously Paired Speaker Microphone and Phone
Oncethespeakermicrophoneandphonehavebeensuccessfullypairedtogether,bothdeviceswill
rememberthatconnection.Theywillreestablishtheirlinkwheneverthespeakermicrophoneandphone
arebothpoweredonandwithinrangeofeachother,aslongastheBluetoothradioisenabledinthe
phone. Re-establishingthisconnectioncan take10-60seconds.
Intheeventthatthephoneandspeakermicrophonetonotautomaticallyreestablishtheirlink,simply
pressthemultifunctionbuttonontheBTH-600-ZU-MOBtorestoretheconnection.

Setting up Zello (Android)
1.
Make sure that your phone's Bluetooth radio is
enabled and that the speaker microphone is
poweredonandthatthemicrophoneandphoneare
connectedto eachother.
2.
OpenZelloandgotoMenu>Options>Push-to-
talk buttons
3.
"BTH-600-PTT"should belisted. Ifitisn't,tap
“+ ADDBUTTON” inthetoprighthandcornerofthe
screen.Whenprompted,pressthePTTbuttononthe
BTH-600microphone. "BTH-600-PTT"shouldnowbe
shown.
4.
OpentheTalkscreeninZello(thescreenwitha
big,roundbutton.)Inthebottom-leftcorner of the
screen,tap-holdandslidetotheBluetoothiconto
activatethespeakermicrophone inZello.
Oncesetup,youwillbeabletousethespeakermicrophonewiththepush-to-talkapp,
eveniftheappisrunning inthe background.

Making and Receiving Phone Calls
You can also use the speaker microphone to make and receive phone calls.
-
Youcaninitiate aphonecall byusingthePhoneDialerappinthephone.
- Phone audio will be routed to the BTH-600-ZU-MOB’s built-in microphone and speaker
(orearphone, ifyouare using one.
-
Toansweranincomingcall,pressthePhonebuttononthespeakermicrophone.
-
Whileonacall,youcanpressthePhonebuttononthespeakermicrophonetohang
up the phone and end thecall.
Resetting the Microphone
Should the need arise, you can reset the BTH-600-ZU-MOB by doing the following:
1.
Ensurethat themicrophone is powered on.
2.
PressandholdboththeVolumeUpandVolumeDownbuttomnsfor3-5seconds,
untilthemicrophoneemitsabeepandtheLEDonthemicrophonebrieflylightsred.
Themicrophonehasnowbeenresettofactorydefaults.Allpreviouspaireddeviceshavenow
beenforgottenandtheBTH-600-ZU-MOBwillneedtobereadyforpairingwithanewhandset.
