1. Connect the appliance to the power supply.
2. Users should keep oil over half the pot.
3. Switch on the power switch, rotate temperature knob clock wise and put to the desired temperature. At the
same time yellow indicator is on and red indicator is off, showing the electric heating tube starts working.
4. When temperature rises to the desired degree, temperature controller will cut electricity automatically. Yellow
indicator is off, red indicator is on, and the heating tube stops working.
5. When temperature starts to lower down, the red light will turn off and the yellow light will turn on and the
heating tube will start working. It circulates from time to time to ensure the temperature can be set within the
range of constant temperature.
6. Enclosed special basket is used for frying small piece of food.There is a hanger and a handle on the basket.
Put basket in oil when producing. After finishing hang the basket to filter odd oil.
7. After using, please rotate temperature knob counter-clockwise to limited position and cut off electricity for
safety.
8. Wait for the temperature lowers down to normal to open the oil drainage valve.
9. The back-plate is designed for protecting electric heating tube.
10. Clean residue on electric heating tube in a regular time.
11. When temperature is is too high, protecting button will work to protect machine. When use it again, user
should press protecting button to reset, and then user can use it normally.
12. Contact MODENA Call Centre if any damage of the product.
