100 V Audio Transformer
These instructions are intended for in-
stallers with sufficient knowledge in
100 V technology for PA applications.
Please read the instructions carefully
prior to installation and keep them for
later reference.
1 Applications
This audio transformer is especially de-
signed for applications in PA systems op-
erating with 100 V technology. Via this
transformer, a 4 Ω speaker can be con-
nected to the 100 V line of the system.
2 Safety Notes
The speaker corresponds to all relevant
directives of the EU and is therefore
marked with .
• The transformer is only suitable for in-
door use. Protect it against humidity
and heat (admissible ambient temper-
ature range 0– 40°C).
• For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth,
never use chemicals or water.
• No guarantee claims for the trans-
former or liability for any resulting
personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the transformer
is used for other purposes than orig-
inally intended, if it is not correctly
connected or if it is overloaded.
If the transformer is to be put out
of operation definitively, take it to a
recycling plant for a disposal which
is not harmful to the environment.
3 Electrical Connection
WARNING During operation, there is a
hazard of contact with a dan-
gerous voltage of up to 100 V
at the connection wires.
The connection must be made by skilled
personnel only. Always insulate the
connection wire not used.
Make sure that the amplifier is not
overloaded. The total power of all con-
nected speakers (transformers) must
not exceed the amplifier power.
1) If the PA system is switched on, switch
it off completely first!
2) Connect the 4 Ω speaker to the 2-pole
connection “C” (negative pole) and
“4 Ω” (positive pole). Connect the
transformer via the 3-pole connection
to the 100 V line of the PA system:
Connection “C” to the negative pole
and, according to the desired volume,
connection “2.5 W” or connection
“5 W” to the positive pole.

100-V-Audiotransformator
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installa-
teure, die ausreichende Fachkenntnisse in
der 100-V-Beschallungstechnik besitzen.
Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor der In-
stallation gründlich durch und heben Sie
sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser Audiotransformator ist speziell
für den Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen konzi-
piert, die mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten.
Über ihn lässt sich ein 4-Ω-Lautsprecher
an die 100-V-Leitung der Anlage an-
schließen.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den
sicheren Gebrauch
Der Transformator entspricht allen rele-
vanten Richtlinien der EU und trägt des-
halb das -Zeichen.
• Der Transformator ist nur zur Ver-
wendung im Innenbereich geeignet.
Schützen Sie ihn vor Feuchtigkeit und
Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperatur-
bereich 0– 40°C).
• Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur
ein trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf kei-
nen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.
• Wird der Transformator zweckent-
fremdet, falsch angeschlossen oder
überlastet, kann keine Haftung für
daraus resultierende Sach- oder Per-
sonenschäden und keine Garantie
für den Transformator übernommen
werden.
Soll der Transformator endgültig
aus dem Betrieb genommen wer-
den, übergeben Sie ihn zur um-
weltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Elektrischer Anschluss
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungs-
gefährliche Spannung bis
100 V an den Anschluss-
drähten an.
Der Anschluss darf nur durch Fachper-
sonal erfolgen. Isolieren Sie unbedingt
den nicht benutzten Anschlussdraht.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Verstärker
nicht überlastet wird. Die Summe der
Leistungen aller angeschlossenen Laut-
sprecher (Transformatoren) darf die
Verstärkerleistung nicht überschreiten.
1) Falls die ELA-Anlage eingeschaltet ist,
diese zuerst komplett ausschalten!
2) Den 4-Ω-Lautsprecher mit dem 2-po-
ligen Anschluss „C“ (Minuspol) und
„4 Ω“ (Pluspol) verbinden. Den Trans-
formator über den 3-poligen Anschluss
mit der 100-V-Leitung der ELA-Anlage
verbinden: Anschluss „C“ an den
Minuspol und je nach gewünschter
Lautstärke den Anschluss „2,5 W“ oder
den Anschluss „5 W“ an den Pluspol.

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs
possédant des connaissances suffisantes
en technique de sonorisation ligne 100 V.
Veuillez lire la présente notice avec atten-
tion avant l‘installation et conservez-la pour
pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Ce transformateur audio est spécialement
conçu pour une utilisation dans des ins-
tallations de Public Adress fonctionnant
en ligne 100 V. Via le transformateur, il
est possible de relier un haut-parleur 4 Ω
au circuit 100 V de l’installation.
2 Conseils d’utilisation
et de sécurité
Le transformateur répond à toutes les
directives nécessaires de l’Union euro-
péenne et porte donc le symbole .
• Le transformateur n’est conçu que pour
une utilisation en intérieur. Protégez-le
de l’humidité et de la chaleur (tempé-
rature ambiante admissible 0–40°C).
• Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon
sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits
chimiques ou d’eau.
• Nous déclinons toute responsabilité
en cas de dommages corporels ou ma-
tériels résultants si le transformateur
est utilisé dans un but autre que celui
pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est
pas correctement branché ou s’il y a
surcharge ; en outre, la garantie de-
viendrait caduque.
Lorsque le transformateur est dé-
finitivement retiré du service, vous
devez le déposer dans une usine de
recyclage adaptée pour contribuer à
son élimination non polluante.
3 Branchement électrique
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionne-
ment, une tension dan-
gereuse jusqu’à 100 V
est présente aux fils de
branchement.
Seul un personnel habilité peut effec-
tuer la connexion. Isolez impérative-
ment le fil de branchement non utilisé.
Veillez à ce que l’amplificateur ne soit
pas en surcharge. La somme des puis-
sances de tous les haut-parleurs reliés
(transformateurs) ne doit pas dépasser
la puissance de l’amplificateur.
1) Si l’installation Public Adress est
allumée, vous devez tout d’abord
l’éteindre en totalité.
2) Reliez le haut-parleur 4 Ω à la con-
nexion 2 pôles «C» (pôle moins) et
«4 Ω» (pôle plus). Reliez le transforma-
teur via le branchement 3 pôles au
circuit 100 V de l’installation de Public
Adress : branchement «C» au pôle
moins et selon le volume souhaité,
branchement «2,5 W» ou branche-
ment «5 W» au pôle plus.

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli instal-
latori che possiedono delle conoscenze
specifiche sufficienti della tecnica di
sonorizzazione a 100 V. Vi preghiamo di
leggerle attentamente prima dell‘instal-
lazione e di conservarle per un uso futuro.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questo trasformatore audio è stato re-
alizzato specialmente per impianti PA
che lavorano con uscita audio 100 V. Con
questo trasformatore è possibile colle-
gare un altoparlante a 4 Ω con la linea
100 V dell’impianto.
2 Avvertenze di sicurezza
Il trasformatore è conforme a tutte le di-
rettive rilevanti dell’UE e pertanto porta
la sigla .
• Il trasformatore è adatto solo all’uso
all’interno di locali. Proteggerlo
dall’umidità e dal calore (temperatura
d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40°C).
• Per la pulizia usare solo un panno
morbido, asciutto; non impiegare in
nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.
• Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collega-
menti sbagliati o di sovraccarica non
si assume nessuna responsabilità per
eventuali danni consequenziali a per-
sone o a cose e non si assume nessuna
garanzia per il trasformatore.
Se si desidera eliminare il trasfor-
matore definitivamente, conse-
gnarlo per lo smaltimento ad un’i-
stituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
3 Collegamento elettrico
AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funziona-
mento, ai fili di collega-
mento è presente una
tensione pericolosa di
100 V.
Il collegamento deve essere eseguito
solo da personale specializzato. Isolare
assolutamente il filo di collegamento
non utilizzato.
Fare attenzione a non sovraccaricare il
trasformatore. La somma delle potenze
di tutti gli altoparlanti (trasformatori)
collegati non deve superare la potenza
dell’amplificatore.
1) Se l’impianto PA è acceso occorre
dapprima spegnerlo completamente!
2) Collegare l’altoparlante a 4 Ω con i
contatti a 2 poli “C” (negativo) e con
“4 Ω” (positivo). Collegare il trasfor-
matore via il collegamento 3 polos con
la linea 100 V dell’impianto PA: con-
tatto “C” con il negativo e, secondo il
volume richiesto, il contatto “2,5 W” o
“5 W” con il positivo.
