Massetrennfilter
1Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Ein Massetrennfilter wird benötigt, wenn beim Zusam-
menschalten mehrerer Geräte eine Masseschleife
entstanden ist und dadurch ein Störbrummen auftritt.
Es wird hauptsächlich in Car-HiFi-Anlagen eingesetzt.
Das Filter wird immer zwischen zwei Geräte mit Line-
Anschlüssen geschaltet.
2Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Filter entspricht der EMV-Richtlinie für elektroma-
gnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG.
●Schützen Sie das Filter vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0–40°C).
●Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.
●Wird das Filter zweckentfremdet oder nicht richtig
angeschlossen, kann keine Garantie für das Filter
und keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach-
oder Personenschäden übernommen werden.
Soll das Filter endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur
umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem ört-
lichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3Montage
FGA-40
Das Filter an geeigneter Stelle im Fahrzeug mit einem
Kabelbinder befestigen.
FGA-40HQ
Das Filter über die beiden Montagewinkel fest im
Fahrzeug anschrauben, damit es sich nicht löst und
beim Bremsen zu einem gefährlichen Geschoss wird.
4Anschluss
AlleAnschlüsse dürfen nur bei ausgeschalteterAudio-
Anlage hergestellt werden!
FGA-40
Die Cinch-Stecker in die Line-Ausgänge (z.B. des
Autoradios) stecken und die Cinch-Kupplungen über
abgeschirmte Cinch-Kabel mit den Line-Eingängen
des nachfolgenden Gerätes (z.B. der Endstufe) ver-
binden. Dabei die Kanäle nicht vertauschen: rot =
rechter Kanal, schwarz = linker Kanal.
FGA-40HQ
Die Line-Ausgänge (z.B. des Autoradios) über abge-
schirmte Cinch-Kabel mit den Cinch-Buchsen INPUT
des Filters verbinden. Die Cinch-Buchsen OUTPUT
über abgeschirmte Cinch-Kabel mit den Line-Eingän-
gen des nachfolgenden Gerätes (z.B. der Endstufe)
verbinden. Dabei die Kanäle nicht vertauschen: „R“ =
rechter Kanal, „L“ = linker Kanal.

3Mounting
FGA-40
Use a cable tie to fasten the ground isolator at a suita-
ble location in the vehicle.
FGA-40HQ
Use the two mounting brackets to screw down the
ground isolator in the vehicle to ensure that it will not
work loose and turn into a dangerous projectile when
braking.
4Connection
Always switch off the car HiFi system before making
any connections!
FGA-40
Connect the phono plugs to the line outputs (e.g. of
the car radio) and the phono inline jacks via screened
cables with phono connectors to the line inputs of the
following unit (e.g. of the power amplifier). Do not con-
fuse the channels: red = right channel, black = left
channel.
FGA-40HQ
Connect the line outputs (e.g. of the car radio) via
screened cables with phono connectors to the phono
jacks INPUT of the ground isolator. Connect the
phono jacks OUTPUT via screened cables with phono
connectors to the line inputs of the following unit (e.g.
of the power amplifier). Do not confuse the channels:
“R” = right channel, “L” = left channel.
Ground Isolator
1Applications
Aground isolator is required if interconnection of
several units has created a ground loop resulting in
hum noise. It is mainly used in car HiFi systems. The
ground isolator is always inserted between two units
with line connections.
2Safety Notes
The ground isolator corresponds to the directive for
electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
●Protect the ground isolator against humidity and heat
(admissible ambient temperature range 0–40°C).
●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
chemicals or water.
●No guarantee claims for the ground isolator or liabil-
ity for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the ground isolator is
used for other purposes than originally intended or if
it is not correctly connected.
If the ground isolator is to be put out of ope-
ration definitively, take it to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful to
the environment.

Transformateur
d’isolation,
séparateur galvanique
1Possibilités d’utilisation
Un transformateur d’isolation et séparateur galvanique
est nécessaire lorsqu’un bouclage de masse apparaît
quand plusieurs appareils sont branchés ensemble. Un
ronflement est alors créé. On utilise principalement ce
type de transformateur d’isolation dans les installations
de Hi-Fi embarquée. Le transformateur est toujours
inséré entre deux appareils avec connexions ligne.
2Conseils d’utilisation et de sécurité
Le transformateur répond à la norme 89/336/CEE
relative à la compatibilité électromagnétique.
●Protégez-le de l’humidité et de la chaleur (plage de
température de fonctionnement autorisée : 0°C à
+40°C).
●Pour le nettoyer, utilisez un chiffon sec et doux, en
aucun cas de produits chimiques ou d’eau.
●Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
mages corporels ou matériels résultants si le trans-
formateur est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour
lequel il a été conçu ou s’il n’est pas correctement
branché ; de même, la garantie deviendrait caduque.
3Montage
FGA-40
Fixez le transformateur à l’endroit approprié dans le
véhicule avec un serre-câble.
FGA-40HQ
Vissez le transformateur dans le véhicule via les deux
étriers de montage solidement de telle sorte qu’il ne
se desserre pas et qu’en cas de freinage il ne se
transforme pas en projectile dangereux.
4Branchement
L’ensemble des branchements ne doit être réalisé que
lorsque l’installation audio est débranchée !
FGA-40
Placez les fiches RCA mâles aux sorties ligne (p.ex.
de l’autoradio) et les fiches RCA femelles via les cor-
dons RCA blindés aux entrées ligne de l’appareil sui-
vant (p.ex. amplificateur). Veillez à ne pas inverser les
canaux : rouge = canal droit, noir = canal gauche.

Reliez les sorties ligne (p.ex. de l’autoradio) via les
cordons RCAblindés aux prises RCAfemelles INPUT

3Montaggio
FGA-40
Fissare il filtro in un punto adatto della vettura serven-
dosi delle fascette per cavi.
FGA-40HQ
Avvitare bene il filtro nell’autovettura servendosi delle
due staffe di montaggio facendo ben attenzione che
non si possa staccare diventando un proiettile perico-
loso in caso di brusca frenata.
4Collegamenti
Tutti i collegamenti devono essere eseguiti solo con
l’impianto car-hifi spento!
FGA-40
Inserire i connettori maschio RCA nelle uscite Line
(p.es. dell’autoradio) e collegare i connettori femmina
RCA con gli ingressi Line dell’apparecchio a valle
(p.es. dello stadio finale) servendosi di cavi RCA
schermati. Fare attenzione a non scambiare i canali:
rosso = canale destro, nero = canale sinistro.
FGA-40HQ
Collegare le uscite Line (p.es. dell’autoradio) con le
prese RCA INPUT del filtro per mezzo di cavi RCA
schermati. Collegare le prese RCA OUTPUT con gli
ingressi Line dell’apparecchio a valle (p.es. dello sta-
dio finale) per mezzo di cavi RCA schermati. Fare
attenzione a non scambiare i canali: “R” = canale
destro, “L” = canale sinistro.
Filtro separatore di massa
1Possibilità d’impiego
Un filtro separatore di massa è richiesto se collegando
più apparecchi si è creato un anello di terra con pre-
senza di ronzii. Viene utilizzato principalmente in im-
pianti di car-hifi. Il filtro va inserito fra due apparecchi
con contatti Line.
2Avvertenze di sicurezza
Il filtro è conforme alla direttiva CE 89/336/CEE sulla
compatibilità elettromagnetica.
●Proteggere il filtro dall’umidità dell’aria e dal calore
(temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40°C).
●Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciut-
to; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o
acqua.
●Nel caso d’uso improprio o di collegamenti sbagliati
del filtro cessa ogni diritto di garanzia e non si assu-
me nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni con-
seguenti a persone o a cose.
Se si desidera eliminare il filtro definitiva-
mente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad
un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
