1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
DieserAudiotransformator ist speziell für
den Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen konzipiert,
die mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten. Über ihn
lässt sich ein 4-Ω-Lautsprecher an die
100-V-Leitung der Anlage anschließen.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den
sicheren Gebrauch
Der Transformator entspricht der Richt-
linie für elektromagnetische Verträglich-
keit 89/336/EWG und der Niederspan-
nungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
●Der Transformator ist nur zur Ver-
wendung im Innenbereich geeignet.
Schützen Sie ihn vor Feuchtigkeit und
Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperatur-
bereich 0–40°C).
●Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur
ein trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf kei-
nen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.
●Wird der Transformator zweckentfrem-
det, falsch angeschlossen oder über-
lastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus
resultierende Sach- oder Personen-
schäden und keine Garantie für den
Transformator übernommen werden.
●Soll der Transformator endgültig aus
dem Betrieb genommen werden,
übergeben Sie ihn zur umweltgerech-
ten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recy-
clingbetrieb.
3 Elektrischer Anschluss
Warnung: Im Betrieb liegt be-
rührungsgefährliche Spannung bis
100V an denAnschlussdrähten an.
Der Anschluss darf nur durch
Fachpersonal erfolgen.
Isolieren Sie unbedingt den nicht
benutzten Anschlussdraht.
Achten Sie auf die richtige Leis-
tungsanpassung. Eine falsche
Anpassung führt zur Beschädi-
gung des ELA-Verstärkers!
1) Falls die ELA-Anlage eingeschaltet
ist,diesezuerst komplettausschalten!
2) Den 4-Ω-Lautsprecher mit dem 2-poli-
gen Anschluss „C“ (Minuspol) und
„4Ω“ (Pluspol) verbinden. Den Trans-
formatorüberden3-poligenAnschluss
mit der 100-V-Leitung der ELA-Anlage
verbinden: Anschluss „C“ an den
Minuspol und je nach gewünschter
LautstärkeAnschluss „2,5W“ oderAn-
schluss „5W“ an den Pluspol.

100V Audio Transformer
1 Applications
This audio transformer is especially de-
signed for applications in PA systems
operating with 100V technique. Via this
transformer a 4Ωspeaker can be con-
nected to the 100V line of the system.
2 Important Safety Notes
The transformer corresponds to the di-
rective for electromagnetic compatibility
89/336/EEC and the low voltage direc-
tive 73/23/EEC.
●The transformer is only suitable for
indoor use. Protect it against humidity
and heat (admissible ambient temper-
ature range 0–40°C).
●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth,
by no means chemicals or water.
●No guarantee claims for the transform-
er or liability for any resulting personal
damage or material damage will be ac-
cepted if the transformer is used for
other purposes than originally intend-
ed, if it is not correctly connected or
overloaded.
●If the transformer is to be put out of
operation definitively, take it to a recy-
cling plant for a disposal which is not
harmful to the environment.
3 Electrical Connection
Warning: During operation there
is a hazard of contact at the con-
nection wires with a voltage up to
100V.
The connection must only be
made by authorized personnel.
Insulate in any case the connec-
tion wire not used.
Pay attention to the correct power
matching. In case of incorrect
matching, the PA amplifier will be
damaged!
1) In case the PA system is switched on,
first switch it off completely!
2) Connectthe4Ωspeakerto the 2-pole
connection “C” (negative pole) and
“4Ω” (positive pole). Connect the
transformer via the 3-pole connection
to the 100V line of the PA system:
Connection “C” to the negative pole
and, according to the desired volume,
connection “2.5W” or connection
“5W” to the positive pole.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Ce transformateur audio est spéciale-
mentconçupourune utilisationdans des
installations de Public Adress fonction-
nant en ligne 100V. Via le transforma-
teur, il est possible de relier un haut-par-
leur 4Ωau circuit 100V de l’installation.
2 Conseils d’utilisation et de
sécurité
Le transformateur répond à la directive
européenne 89/336/CEE sur la compa-
tibilité électromagnétique et à la directive
portant sur les appareils à basse tension
73/23/CEE.
●Letransformateurn’est conçu que pour
une utilisation en intérieur. Protégez-le
de l’humidité et de la chaleur (tempéra-
ture ambiante admissible 0–40°C).
●Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon
sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits
chimiques ou d’eau.
●Nous déclinons toute responsabilité
en cas de dommages corporels ou
matériels résultants si le transforma-
teur est utilisé dans un but autre que
celui pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il
n’est pas correctement branché ou s’il
y a surcharge ; en outre, la garantie
deviendrait caduque.
●Lorsque le transformateur est définiti-
vement retiré du service, vous devez
le déposer dans une usine de recy-
clage adaptée pour contribuer à son
élimination non polluante
3 Branchement électrique
Avertissement : pendant le fonc-
tionnement, une tension dange-
reuse jusqu’à 100V est présente
aux fils de branchement.
Seul un personnel habilité peut ef-
fectuer la connexion.
Isolez impérativement le fil de
branchement non utilisé.
Veillez à respecter l’adaptation de
puissance. Toute adaptation erro-
née peut endommager l’amplifica-
teur Public Adress !
1) Si l’installation Public Adress est allu-
mée, vous devez tout d’abord l’étein-
dre en totalité.
2) Reliez le haut-parleur 4Ωà la con-
nexion 2 pôles “C” (pôle moins) et
“4Ω” (pôle plus). Reliez le trans-
formateur via le branchement 3 pôles
au circuit 100V de l’installation de
Public Adress : branchement “C” au
pôle moins et selon le volume sou-
haité, branchement “2,5W” ou bran-
chement “5W” au pôle plus.

1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questo trasformatore audio è stato rea-
lizzato specialmente per impianti PA che
lavorano con uscita audio 100V. Con
questo trasformatore è possibile colle-
gare un altoparlante a 4Ωcon la linea
100V dell’impianto.
2 Avvertenze di sicurezza
Il trasformatore è conforme alle direttive
CE 89/336/CEE sulla compatibilità elet-
tromagnetica e 73/23/CEE per appa-
recchi a bassa tensione.
●Il trasformatore è adatto solo all’uso
all’interno di locali. Proteggerlo dall’-
umidità e dal calore (temperatura d’-
impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40°C).
●Per la pulizia usare solo un panno
morbido, asciutto; non impiegare in
nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.
●Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collega-
menti sbagliati o di sovraccarica non si
assume nessuna responsabilità per
eventuali danni consequenziali a per-
sone o a cose e non si assume nes-
suna garanzia per il trasformatore.
●Se si desidera eliminare il trasforma-
tore definitivamente, consegnarlo per
lo smaltimento ad un’istituzione locale
per il riciclaggio.
3 Collegamento elettrico
Attenzione! Durante il funziona-
mento, ai fili di collegamento è pre-
sente una tensione pericolosa di
100V.
Il collegamento deve essere ese-
guito solo da personale specializ-
zato.
Isolare assolutamente il filo di col-
legamento non utilizzato.
Fare attenzione al corretto adatta-
mento alla potenza. L’adattamento
sbagliato provoca danni all’amplifi-
catore PA!
1) Se l’impianto PA è acceso occorre
dapprima spegnerlo completamente!
2) Collegare l’altoparlante a 4Ωcon i
contatti a 2 poli “C” (negativo) e con
“4Ω” (positivo). Collegare il trasfor-
matorevia il collegamento3 polos con
la linea 100V dell’impianto PA: con-
tatto “C” con il negativo e, secondo il
volume richiesto, il contatto “2,5W” o
“5W” con il positivo.
