1Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser Audiotransformator ist speziell für
den Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen konzipiert,
die mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten. Über ihn
lässt sich ein 4-Ω-Lautsprecher an die
100-V-Leitung der Anlage anschließen.
2Wichtige Hinweise für den
sicheren Gebrauch
Der Transformator entspricht der Richt-
linie für elektromagnetische Verträglich-
keit 89/336/EWG und der Niederspan-
nungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
●Der Transformator ist nur zur Ver-
wendung im Innenbereich geeignet.
Schützen Sie ihn vor Feuchtigkeit und
Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperatur-
bereich 0 – 40 °C).
●Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur
ein trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf kei-
nen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.
●Wird der Transformator zweckentfrem-
det, falsch angeschlossen oder über-
lastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus
resultierende Sach- oder Personen-
schäden und keine Garantie für den
Transformator übernommen werden.
3Elektrischer Anschluss
Warnung: Im Betrieb liegt be-
rührungsgefährliche Spannung bis
100 V an den Anschlussdrähten an.
Der Anschluss darf nur durch
Fachpersonal erfolgen.
Isolieren Sie unbedingt die nicht
benutzten Anschlussdrähte.
Achten Sie auf die richtige Leis-
tungsanpassung. Eine falsche An-
passung führt zur Beschädigung
des ELA-Verstärkers!
1) Falls die ELA-Anlage eingeschaltet
ist, diese zuerst komplett ausschalten!
2) Den 4-Ω-Lautsprecher mit dem 2-poli-
gen Anschluss „C“ (Minuspol) und
„4 Ω“ (Pluspol) verbinden. Den Trans-
formator über den 5-poligen Anschluss
mit der 100-V-Leitung der ELA-Anlage
verbinden: Anschluss „C“ an den
Minuspol und je nach gewünschter
Lautstärke einen der farbigen Drähte
an den Pluspol (siehe Tabelle).

1Applications
This audio transformer is especially de-
signed for applications in PA systems
operating with 100 V technique. Via this
transformer a 4 Ωspeaker can be con-
nected to the 100 V line of the system.
2Important Safety Notes
The transformer corresponds to the di-
rective for electromagnetic compatibility
89/336/EEC and the low voltage direc-
tive 73/23/EEC.
●The transformer is only suitable for
indoor use. Protect it against humidity
and heat (admissible ambient temper-
ature range 0 – 40 °C).
●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth,
by no means chemicals or water.
●No guarantee claims for the transform-
er or liability for any resulting personal
damage or material damage will be ac-
cepted if the transformer is used for
other purposes than originally intend-
ed, if it is not correctly connected or
overloaded.
3Electrical Connection
Warning: During operation there
is a hazard of contact at the con-
nection wires with a voltage up to
100 V.
The connection must only be
made by authorized personnel.
Insulate in any case the connec-
tion wires not used.
Pay attention to the correct power
matching. In case of incorrect
matching, the PA amplifier will be
damaged!
1) In case the PA system is switched on,
first switch it off completely!
2) Connect the 4 Ωspeaker to the 2-pole
connection “C” (negative pole) and
“4 Ω” (positive pole). Connect the
transformer via the 5-pole connection
to the 100 V line of the PA system:
Connection “C” to the negative pole
and, according to the desired volume,
one of the coloured wires to the posi-
tive pole (see table).

1Possibilités d’utilisation
Ce transformateur audio est spéciale-
ment conçu pour une utilisation dans des
installations de Public Adress fonction-
nant en ligne 100 V. Via le transforma-
teur, il est possible de relier un haut-par-
leur 4 Ωau circuit 100 V de l’installation.
2Conseils d’utilisation et de
sécurité
Le transformateur répond à la directive
européenne 89/336/CEE sur la compa-
tibilité électromagnétique et à la directive
portant sur les appareils à basse tension
73/23/CEE.
●Le transformateur n’est conçu que pour
une utilisation en intérieur. Protégez-le
de l’humidité et de la chaleur (tempéra-
ture ambiante admissible 0 – 40 °C).
●Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon
sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits
chimiques ou d’eau.
●Nous déclinons toute responsabilité
en cas de dommages corporels ou
matériels résultants si le transforma-
teur est utilisé dans un but autre que
celui pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il
n’est pas correctement branché ou s’il
y a surcharge ; en outre, la garantie
deviendrait caduque.
3Branchement électrique
Avertissement : pendant le fonc-
tionnement, une tension dange-
reuse jusqu’à 100 V est présente
aux fils de branchement.
Seul un personnel habilité peut ef-
fectuer la connexion.
Isolez impérativement les fils de
branchement non utilisés.
Veillez à respecter l’adaptation cor-
recte de puissance. Toute adapta-
tion erronée peut endommager
l’amplificateur Public Adress !
1) Si l’installation Public Adress est allu-
mée, vous devez tout d’abord l’étein-
dre en totalité.
2) Reliez le haut-parleur 4 Ωà la con-
nexion 2 pôles “C” (pôle moins) et
“4 Ω” (pôle plus). Reliez le trans-
formateur via le branchement 5 pôles
au circuit 100 V de l’installation de
Public Adress : branchement “C” au
pôle moins et selon le volume sou-
haité, un des fils colorés au pôle plus
(voir table).

1Possibilità d’impiego
Questo trasformatore audio è stato rea-
lizzato specialmente per impianti PA che
lavorano con uscita audio 100 V. Con
questo trasformatore è possibile colle-
gare un altoparlante a 4 Ωcon la linea
100 V dell’impianto.
2Avvertenze di sicurezza
Il trasformatore è conforme alle direttive
CE 89/336/CEE sulla compatibilità elet-
tromagnetica e 73/23/CEE per appa-
recchi a bassa tensione.
●Il trasformatore è adatto solo all’uso
all’interno di locali. Proteggerlo dal-
l’umidità e dal calore (temperatura
d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).
●Per la pulizia usare solo un panno
morbido, asciutto; non impiegare in
nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.
●Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collega-
menti sbagliati o di sovraccarica non si
assume nessuna responsabilità per
eventuali danni consequenziali a per-
sone o a cose e non si assume nes-
suna garanzia per il trasformatore.
3Collegamento elettrico
Attenzione! Durante il funziona-
mento, ai fili di collegamento è pre-
sente una tensione pericolosa di
100 V.
Il collegamento deve essere ese-
guito solo da personale specializ-
zato.
Isolare assolutamente i fili di colle-
gamento non utilizzati.
Fare attenzione al corretto adatta-
mento alla potenza. L’adattamento
sbagliato provoca danni all’amplifi-
catore PA!
1) Se l’impianto PA è acceso occorre
dapprima spegnerlo completamente!
2) Collegare l’altoparlante a 4 Ωcon i
contatti a 2 poli “C” (negativo) e con
“4 Ω” (positivo). Collegare il trasfor-
matore via il collegamento 5 polos con
la linea 100 V dell’impianto PA: con-
tatto “C” con il negativo e, secondo il
volume richiesto, uno dei fili colorati
con il positivo (vedi tabella).

1Posibilidades de utilización
Este transformador audio está especial-
mente fabricado para una utilización en
instalaciones Public Adress que funcio-
nan en línea 100 V. Vía el transformador,
es posible conectar un altavoz de 4 Ωal
circuito 100 V de la instalación.
2Consejos de utilización y de
seguridad
El transformador cumple la normativa
europea 89/336/CEE relacionada con
la compatibilidad electromagnética y con
la normativa relacionada con los apara-
tos de baja tensión 73/23/CEE.
●El transformador está fabricado sola-
mente para una utilización en interior.
Protéjalo de la humedad y del calor
(temperatura ambiente admisible
0–40°C).
●Para la limpieza, utilice un trapo seco
y suave, en ningún caso productos
químicos o agua.
●Rechazamos toda responsabilidad en
casos de daños corporales o materia-
les resultandos si el transformador se
utiliza en otro fin para el cual ha sido
fabricado, si no está correctamente co-
nectado o si se produce una sobrecar-
ga, por esos mismos motivos el apa-
rato carecería de todo tipo de garantía.
3Conexión eléctrica
¡Advertencia! durante el funcio-
namiento, una tensión peligrosa
hasta 100 V está presente en los
hilos de conexión.
Solo una personal habilitada pue-
de efectuar la conexión.
Aislé imperativamente los hilos de
conexión no utilizados.
Observar siempre a adaptar la po-
tencia correctamente. Toda adap-
tación errónea puede dañar el am-
plificador Public Adress!
1) Si la instalación Public Adress está
conectada, debe antes de todo des-
conectarlo en totalidad.
2) Conecte el altavoz 4 Ωa la conexión
2 polos “C” (polo negativo) y “4 Ω”
(polo positivo). Conecte el transfor-
mador vía la conexión 5 polos al cir-
cuito 100 V de la instalación de Public
Adress: conexión “C” al polo negativo
y según el volumen deseado, uno de
los hilos colorados al polo positivo
(vea tabla).

Transformator jest przeznaczony do
stosowania w systemach wzmacniają-
cych działających w technice 100 V.
Dzięki temu transformatorowi można
podłączyć głośnik 4 Ωdo 100 V linii.
2Informacje dotyczące bez-
pieczeństwa
To urządzenie podlega wytycznym i nor-
mom dla urządzeń zgodnych z 89/336/
EEC i spełnia wymagania dla urządzeń
niskonapięciowych 73/23/EEC.
●Transformator jest przeznaczony tylko
do użytku wewnątrz pomieszczeń. Ur-
ządzenie należy chronić przed wilgo-
cią i wysoką temperaturą (dopuszc-
zalny zakres temperatury to 0 – 40 °C).
●Do czyszczenia obudowy używać su-
chej, miękkiej ściereczki. Nie stoso-
wać wody ani środków czyszczących.
●Producent ani dostawca nie ponosi
odpowiedzialności za wynikłe szkody
materialne, jeśli urządzenie było uży-
wane niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem,
zostało zainstalowane lub obsługi-
wane niepoprawnie lub poddawane
nieautoryzowanym naprawom.
3 Podłączenia elektryczne
Uwaga: Podczas działania urzą-
dzenia, na przyłączach może
występować napięcie do 100 V.
Wszystkie połączenia mogą być
przeprowadzane tylko przy wyłą-
czonym wzmacniaczu.
Należy zaizolować wszystkie nie-
używane kable.
Należy zwracać uwagę na odpo-
wiednią biegunowość. W przy-
padku złego połączenia, wzma-
cniacz może ulec uszkodzeniu!
1) Jeśli system wzmacniający jest włą-
czony, należy go wyłączyć z sieci!
2) Podłącz 4 Ωgłośnik do dwu-biegu-
nowego łącza “C” (biegun ujemny) i
“4 Ω” (biegun dodatni). Podłącz
transformator do 100V linii systemu
wzmacniającego: Łącze “C” do bie-
guna ujemnego i w zależności od
żądanej głośności, jeden z koloro-
wych kabli do bieguna dodatniego
(patrz tabela).
