STANDARDS TO FOLLOW

This product is certified in accordance with European Community
(EC) safety standards.
This product complies with Directive 2011/65/EU of the European
Parliament and of the Council, of 8 June 2011, on the restriction of
the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic
equipment.
(Applicable in countries with recycling systems).
This marking on the product or literature indicates that the product
andelectronicaccessories(eg.Charger,USBcable,electronicmaterial,
controls, etc.) should not be disposed of as other household waste at
the end of its useful life. To avoid possible harm to the environment

• The customer shall not, under any circumstances, attempt to repair or tune the
automatism. Must call qualified technician only.
• The installer must have certified professional knowledge at the level of
mechanical assemblies in doors and gates and control board programmation.
He should also be able to perform electrical connections in compliance with all
applicable regulations.
• The installer should inform the customer how to handle the product in an
emergency and provide him the manual.
• This device can be used by children 8 year old or older and persons whose
physical, sensory or mental capacities are reduced, or by persons without
experience or knowledge if they have received supervision or instructions on
the use of the device in a safe manner and understood the hazards involved.
Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance by the user
must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
• Before installing, the installer must verify that the temperature range indicated
on the automatism is appropriate to the location of the installation.
• When programming the control unit, pay particular attention to touching only
the location intended for that purpose. Failure to do so may result in electric
shock.

03. CONTROL BOARD
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The control board MCPL has the capacity to memorize  remote controls (Rolling Code).
• Programming
 • Press the CMD button 
second and the point on the
LED display turns on.
 • Press a button of your choice from the remote control to
program and the point on the display will flash twice. Remote
control will be memorized after  seconds.
• Delete remote controls
Press CMD for  seconds (during this
time the point on the LED display will
stay ON). After this time, the point on
the LED display will flash twice and all
codes have been deleted from memory.

This menu allows to set the level of sensibility that you want in the motor operation.
Note • Any time you program the course, the sensitivity is automatically adjusted.

When photocells enabled, if any obstacle interrupt them (if the automatic bollard is closing), the
automatic bollard will reverse the direction.
0 - Disable | 1 - Enable
 • The automatic bollard will go up slowly until reaches the opening limit.
 • The automatic bollard will go down slowly for  seconds.
 • Will slowly go up again.
 • Will make a complete opening at normal speed.
 • Will make a complete closing at normal speed.

Note • In the course programmation, batteries should be always connected. The automatic bollard
can be positioned at any point.

Option  disables the automatic closing, and the gate will close only if it receives an order from a
configured device.
Any option between  and , multiplied by , sets the automatic closing time, the minimum is 
seconds (number ) and the maximum is  seconds (number ).
0-Disabled
• If you send an order to the bollard completely open, it will close.
• If pressing during the closure, the bollard reverses direction (it will open).
When disabled, you can control the opening or closing of the bollard whenever you want, and their
behavior is: open-stop-close-stop-open-stop - (...) for each time you press a remote control key.
1 - Enabled
• This function makes the control board ignore all the orders sent by configured devices during the course
of opening and during the pause time.
• Pressing the remote control during the opening, the order is rejected and the bollard continues to open.
• When activated, the condominium function activates the closing time in  seconds.

• When this function is activated, the control board will only work if the bollard is closed. If the
bollard is open, the control board reject any opening or closing order.
0 - Disable | 1 - Enable
The deceleration reduce the motor speed in the final part of the course (opening or closing).
Without deceleration - select the value 0
Minimum deceleration – 1 second
Maximum deceleration – 9 seconds

For this function, you must have installed a safety device N.C at the automatic bollard.

With the “Follow Me” function activated, whenever the photocells detect the passage of a user/
obstacle, the control board will automatically start the closing maneuver  seconds later.

06. TROUBLESHOOTING
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINAL CONSUMERS/TECHNICIANS
Anomaly Procedure Behavior Procedure II Discovering the origin of the problem
• Automatic
bollard
doesn't work
• Make sure you
have 230V power
supply connected to
automation and if
the fusible working
properly.
• Still not working • Consult a qualified
MOTORLINE technician.
1• Open the control board box;
2• Measure the V output of the transformer to detect the fault location;
A) Has 24V:
1• Verify the control board supplies of the motor to detect if the fault is in the motor or in the control board. Replace the damaged component or send it
to the services for diagnosis and repair.
B) Has not 24V:
1• Verify the 230V input of the transformer. If have 230V the problem is in the transformer. If haven't 230V, the problem should be in the fusible, electric
cables or in the power supply. Verify all the systems.
• Check that the
safety features are
activated. • Still not working • Consult a qualified
MOTORLINE technician. • In the E menu, make sure the stop function is enabled (page A). If enabled and the circuit is not closed, the automatic bollard will not work.
• Automatic
bollard
doesn’t move
but makes
noise
• Unlock the
automatic bollard
and move by hand to
check for mechanical
problems.
• Automatic bollard
is stuck? • Consult a qualified technician. • Unlock the automatic bollard and move by hand to check if the movement is normal.

• Turn off the motor from control board and test it on directly to a V battery to find out if it is damaged;
• If the motor runs, the problem is in the control board. Remove it and send it to the technical services for diagnosis;
• If the motor does not work, remove it and send to the technical services for diagnosis.
• Automatic
bollard
opens but
doesn’t
close
1 • Check if there is any
obstacle in front of the
photocells;
2 • Make sure if the
photocells are
working. Put your hand
in front and check that
the relay makes the
same noise.
3 • Check if any of the
control devices (key
selector, push button,
video intercom, etc.) of
the automatic bollard
are jammed and
sending permanent
signal to control unit;
• Automatic bollard
opened but didn’t
close again.
• Consult a qualified
MOTORLINE technician.
• Verify if the display is connected to confirm the existence of power supply;
• Verify if the photocells are powered in control board output;
• Access the menu on the display and disable the photocells and the stop function;
• Try to close;
A) Closed:
• Problem is in one of these two systems. Activate the photocells and check that the automatic bollard closes. If close, problem will be in stop
function. Ative tin the menu and try to close the automatic bollard to be sure.
B) Doesn't closed:
• Problem is in the motor or in the control board. Give an order to the automatic bollard close while measuring the control board power output to
the motor. If you have V, the control board is working and the problem is in the motor.
• If it has not current, the problem is in the control board.
• Automatic

• Unlock the
automatic bollard
and move by hand to
check for mechanical
problems.

problems? • Consult a qualified technician. • Unlock the automatic bollard and move by hand to check if the movement is normal.
• Automatic bollard

• Verify if the tests to the automatic bollard were well made;
• Change the strength of F menu until the motor move the automatic bollard without changing the direction;
• This adjustment should be made to in case the automatic bollard find an obstacle do an inversion;
• If even at maximum power level (F) is still the problem, test the motor directly connected to a V battery to see if it has the power to open/close
the automatic bollard completely;
• Change the strength in the F menu until the motor move the automatic bollard without changing the direction;
