The driver CD will automatically activate the autorun
installation program after you insert the disk into your CD
drive.
Step 1:
Insert driver CD into your CD-ROM and follow the instruction
to finish the installation.
Step 2:
After finished install driver and utility on your system, plug
MSI US54SE into the USB port of your PC. Windows
XP/2000 will automatically detect the device.
MSI US54SE uses its own management software. All
functions controlled by users are provided by this application.
When you insert US54SE into the USB port of PC, a new
icon should appear in the Windows System Tray
automatically.
If the icon is in red, it means that US54SE configuration is
invalid or incomplete. Double click on that icon and the
configuration window will pop up as shown below. It shows
the SSID of available network. Once a network is chosen,
the signal strength and link quality are displayed.

The Link Quality and Signal Strength bar chart is only active
when the mode is in Infrastructure Mode. The bar graph
displays the quality and strength of the link. Link Quality is a
measurement of receiving and transmitting performances
over the radio.
Tx/Rx Frame displays the instantaneous wireless Transmit
and Receive throughput in bytes per second. These values
are updated every two seconds.
The Configuration Tool contains several fields where
operating parameters of the driver can be viewed or
changed. Changes to any of the parameters in this panel can
be applied to the driver without a need to restart the
computer.

Die Anzeigebalken für die Verbindungsqualität (Link Quality)
und Signalstärke (Signal Strength) sind nur im

und Empfangsleistung des Radios.

Empfangsdatendurchfluss in Bytes pro Sekunde angezeigt.
Dieser Wert wird alle zwei Sekunden aktualisiert.
Das Konfigurationswerkzeug (Configuration Tool) umfasst
verschiedene Felder, bei denen die Betriebsparameter des
Treibers abgelesen bzw. geändert werden können. Wenn in
diesem Fenster ein Parameter geändert wird, kann dieser für
den Treiber übernommen werden, ohne dass dazu der
Computer neu gestartet werden muss.

El gráfico de la barra de la calidad de la conexión (Link
Quality) y fuerza de la señal (Signal Strength) sólo están

Le barre Link Quality (qualità collegamento) e Signal
Strength (intensità segnale) sono attive solo quando si è in
modalità Infrastructure Mode. Le barre visualizzano lo stato
di qualità e intensità del collegamento. La qualità del
collegamento è la misurazione delle prestazioni di ricezione
e trasmissione di dati via radio.
La voce Tx/Rx Frame indica la velocità di trasferimento
wireless istantanea (trasmissione e ricezione) espressa in
byte al secondo. Questi valori vengono aggiornati ogni due

Lo strumento di configurazione contiene diversi campi in cu i
