First,confirmthatthesystemisturnedoff.InserttheWireless USB
DongleintotheUSBPort.
AfterinstallingtheUSBDongletoyourcomputerandthenturningonthe
computer,theoperating system will detectanewdevice and startthe
configurationautomatically.Please CANCEL thepop-up windowofthe
system sFoundNewHardwareWizardtoinstall therequireddriverand
utilityfrom InstallShieldWizard ofyourSoftwareCD.
InserttheSoftwareCDintoyourCD-ROMdrive,and theSetupprogram
shouldlaunchautomatically.
If theAuto-runprogram doesnotlaunchautomatically,click Start atthe
taskbarandselect Run....Type E:\setup.exe (where E isyourCDROM
drive)inthe Open boxandclick OK tolaunchtheSetupprogrammanually.
ThemainscreenofSetupprogramwill appearasbelow.Clickthe Install
Software button.
Thewelcome screenofInstallShieldWizardappears.Readand Accept the
LicenseAgreement;then,click Yes.
Theprogramwill copythenecessaryfilestothesystem.Theprogress
indicatorshallshowtheinstallingstatus.
Click Finish whentheinstallationiscompleted.
The MSIWireless LAN iconwillappearinthe
statusarea.

Afterinstalling thesoftware,the MSIWireless USBDongle offersyouwitha
convenientand powerfulutilitythatallowsyoutosetup,configure,and
knowyournetworkingstatuseasilyandclearly.
Your MSIWireless USBDongle canbeusedby twonetworkingmodes:
Infrastructure mode and Ad-hocmode.
Infrastructure Mode allowsyourcomputertocommunicatewiththeother
computersinthenetworkthroughanAccess Point.
ToconnecttheAccessPoint:
1. ClicktheMSIWirelessLANicontobringupthe MSIWireless
Utility window.
2. Inthetabof SiteSurvey,select thenetworkyouwant,andthenclick
Connect.

uptheAuthenticationandSecurity,youneedtohavetheWPA
PresharedKeyorWEPKeybeforehandfromtheAccessPoint
administratortoenterintheblank. Thenclick OK tocompletethe
configuration.
Ad-hocMode allowsyourcomputertocommunicatedirectlywithany
computerinstalledwithcompatiblewirelessadapter.
