7 Care and Storage
1. An Electric Scooter is only a device for enjoyment and commuting, however when you ride in
public areas, the electric scooter brings a certain amount of risk to yourself and others. For the
sake of your safety and others, you must strictly follow the instructions described in this manual,
as well as all local laws and requirements.
2. Please be aware, if you ride an electric scooter in public places, you must comply with all
recommendations for safety. Do not forget there is a possibility of collision due to pedestrians or
vehicles. There is also a risk of injury due to improper operation of the electric scooter. The
higher the speed the electric scooter goes, the longer the braking distance will be. On some
smooth roads emergency braking may cause skidding and slipping, the rider may lose their
balance and possibly fall. Therefore, when you are riding an electric scooter, you will need to be
vigilant, riding at a legal and safe speed and keep a safe distance from pedestrians and other
vehicles. When riding on unfamiliar terrain, be vigilant and take care.
3. While riding an electric scooter, please respect all pedestrians. Do not scare them, especially
children. Slow down when passing by them. If you are moving in the same direction as
pedestrians, try to stick to the left side as much as possible, if you are moving the opposite
direction, stick to the right and slow down.
4. Please strictly follow your country`s road rules when riding, as well as strictly abide by the
rules and recommendations in this manual. Violation of the above-mentioned rules and
recommendations may result in potential fines, personal injury, traffic accidents, legal disputes,
conflict, and other unpleasant situations. My E Ride will not bear any direct or joint liability or
be responsible in any way whatsoever if either of the above was to take place.
5. To avoid personal injury, do not allow any person who does not know how to ride an electric
scooter to ride it. Please teach the person before you allow the beginner how to ride the scooter,
and inform them to wear proper safety gear, especially a helmet which is a legal requirement.
6. Please inspect and check the electric scooter carefully before each use. If you find any
damaged parts, obvious low battery capacity, punctures, low tire pressures, any signs of
excessive wear, any unexpected sounds, abnormal symptoms, please stop using the electric
scooter immediately and ask for help from authorized My E Ride dealer.

touch any metal objects to avoid any short circuit. Otherwise, the battery may have
malfunction or even can injure the user.
3. It is recommended to use an AC adapter, which comes together with the electric scooter
from the factory, to avoid any accident of fire because of using non original adaptor.
4. Improper disposal of used batteries may cause severe environmental pollution. Please
dispose of batteries in accordance with local laws.
Please do not dispose of batteries together with waste food, protecting environment together!
5. After each use of the electric scooter, charge the battery to prolong its service life.
6. Do not store the battery in rooms at temperature exceed 50ºC or -20ºC (e.g., do not leave the

If the electric scooter will not be used in the following 30 days, charge the battery,
and keep the electric scooter in a cool and dry place. Every 60 days you need to
charge the battery, because battery will discharge automatically even the electric

life. When using the electric scooter at normal room temperature, battery will be able to
perform much better and achieve much longer distance; but if you use the electric scooter at
temperatures below 0℃, performance and permeability decrease.
Note:
It is about 120-180 days for a fully charged battery to automatically discharge completely.
Please charge the battery in time before it discharged completely. The battery has a smart

for a long time, it will discharge deeply and cause serious damage, which will make it
