1. Press and hold the power button for three (3) seconds to turn
the scooter on or off.
2. After switching the scooter on, press the power button again to
shift between the three different speed modes.
3. Press the power button two (2) times in succession to turn the
headlight on or off.
4. Press the power button three (3) times is succession to switch
between km/h and mph.
5. Press the power button five (5) times in succession to reset the
odometer.
6. Starting without pushing off, just press the accelerator to gently
ride off.
7. Starting by pushing off first, just start moving over 3 km/h and
press the accelerator to start going.
8. Pressing the power button seven (7) times is succession to set
or cancel cruise mode.
Note: All six functions mentioned above, by pressing the power
button, can also be carried out by an application in your mobile
phone (refer to Application).

Applications
Instructions for using the application.
1. Choose one of the following QR codes according to your
mobile phone, then scan the related QR code to install the
application.
Smart Bike into your mobile phone.
2. Switch on your ESCOOTER ES8501
3. Turn on the Smart Bike application on your mobile phone to
start, then click the blue tooth symbol to connect, then find
nearby available equipment QIRUN32KHZ1N2 (See figure 1)
Click QIRUN32KHZ1N2 and then key in the original
password 111111. Bluetooth should now be connected
successfully. (See Figure 2).

Figure 2 will indicate the remaining power of the battery, real time
speed, distance travelled of the trip (TRIP) and accumulated total
distance travelled (Odometer)
You can see the following functions, by clicking the six symbols on
the bottom of the screen.
a. Click Blue Tooth symbol to Connect or disconnect blue tooth.
b. Click the tortoise, rabbit, or horse symbol to Shift the speed
between mode 1 (tortoise), mode 2 (rabbit) and mode 3
(horse), Maximum speed of mode 1 is 10 km/h, maximum
speed of mode 2 is 15 km/h and maximum speed of mode 3
is 25 km/h.

c. Click the cruise control symbol to shift between cruise or
non-cruise mode. If the ES8501 scooter is already in cruise
mode and the speed exceeds 10 km/h and you keep the
same speed 6 seconds or more, the scooter will enter cruise
mode automatically and will run at a constant speed.
d. Click the light symbol to Switch on or off the head light and
rear light.
e. Click lock symbol to Lock or unlock the scooter (once the
scooter is locked by application, it can only be unlocked by
the application as well)
f. Click the setting symbol to enter setting functions (see figure
3), where you can set or reset the parameters of Startup
Mode, Speed Units, Language, Device Name, Password and
Reset Factory Data.
4. After entering the setting functions by clicking the symbol,
you will see the interface as shown in Figure 3.

A) Start up mode
You can choose nonzero start or zero start.
Non-zero start: start moving over 3 km/h and press the
accelerator to start. Zero start, just press the accelerator to
start automatically.
B) Speed unit
Choose between km/h and mph.

C) The current language
There are six languages available, English, Russian, German,
French, Korean and Chinese.
D) Modification of device name
The user can rename the blue tooth.
E) Password change
The original factory password is111111.You can change the
password here to your own personal password.
F) Factory Data reset
To restore factory settings
Trouble shooting
If you experience a problem, the application will show this
symbol which will then indicate what the problem may be.
The following issue could occur.
1. Assistant sensor problem
2. Hall problem
3. Throttle problem
4. Controller problem
5. Low voltage protection
6. Communication problem
7. Hand brake issue

4.Charging scooter
Important Notice:
Please wear a helmet and knee pads when riding.

5. Safety instructions
a. It is not recommended to ride in the rain.
b. Please do not hang backpacks and other heavy objects
on the handlebar.

It is not permitted to leave or
ride your scooter on a
freeway, or ride at high
speeds. It is also not
permitted to ride your scooter
on one foot.
It is not recommended to ride
your scooter in water
more than 2cm deep.
Never ride your scooter with
more than one person, or with
children.

Do not stand on the rear
mudguard.
Do not touch the disc brake.
Do not ride by letting go of your
hands.
Do not ride the e scooter up
or down steps or jump over
obstacles.

6. Folding and transportation
Make sure the hook holder in the rear mudguard has.
snagged the hook after folding the pole.
Transportation
You can carry the scooter with
one hand or two hands.

7. Safety Recommendations
1. The ESCOOTER ES8501 is a personal transportation
vehicle and a device used for entertainment. However, once
you are riding in public areas, the scooter brings certain
risks. For your safety and the safety of others, you should
follow the instructions outlined in the manual.
2. You must be aware when riding your scooter in public places,
that you must comply with all rules and regulations and always
watch out for pedestrians and vehicles. You may also be
injured or injure someone else if you are riding carelessly or at
high speed. Please note, the higher the speed, the greater the
breaking distance. On some road surfaces, emergency or
sudden breaking may cause loss of control or skidding.
3. Always stay as close as possible to the right hand side of the
footpath or road and always look out for adults, children and
vehicles.
4. Always follow the laws and regulations in your Country or
State. Please note laws may vary from one location to the
other. If you do not follow the laws in your location, My E Ride
will not be held responsible in any way, for any personal injury,
financial loss, accidents.
5. Please ensure all safety gear, including helmets, possible
knee and elbow pads are worn when riding. Please note:
Helmets must be worn when riding an E Scooter.
6. Please ensure you check your ESCOOTER ES8501 each
time before use, check for parts breakage, wear and tear and
any other abnormal symptoms. If you notice anything unusual,
contact My E Ride immediately.

8.Care and Storage
8.1 Clean and store electric scooter
If you find any dirt or marks on your scooter housing, use a soft
damp cloth to clean the surface.
Warning: Do not use alcohol, petrol, kerosene, or other corrosive
chemicals to clean your scooter.
Donotwashyourscooterwithwater,oranyhigh-pressurecleaner.
Please ensure your scooter is turned off when cleaning. Please
also ensure the charge plug is in place when cleaning, or when
charging is not taking place.
If you do not use your scooter for a long period of time, store it in
a dry and cool location. Do not leave your scooter in the sun for
any extended period. Extreme heat or extreme cold may affect the
life of your scooter and reduce the battery life.
