SV9100 USER TRAINING
1/ Volume Key
To scroll the volume of your handset press up or down on the silver navigator dial on
your handset, located in the bottom right hand corner
-↕the listening volume when you are on speaker or have the handset lifted.
-↕the ringing volume when phone is ringing.
-When the phone is not in use, the volume key alters the contrast on the screen.
2/ External Call - Call Light flashes red.
Internal Call - Call Light flashes red & the name of the extension calling appears
3/ Making Calls
To make a call either pick up your handset or press the speaker key for hands free.
Dial 0, then the number you wish to call.
4/ Microphone Control
-Press the MIC key to turn the external microphone on or off.
-Red light above MIC indicates if the microphone is turned on or off. (It is
recommended that your microphone is always left on.)
5a/ Placing a Call on Hold
-During conversation, press the HOLD key
-The line key that the call came in on will begin a steady flash
5b/ Retrieving a Call Placed on Hold
-Pick up the handset.
-Press the flashing button.
NB: Flashing green means the call was placed on hold by your handset, red means it
was placed on hold by another handset.
6/ Transferring Calls
-Press Hold
-Dial station number (or press programmed key)
-Announce call
-Press transfer
-Hang up
7/ Message Light Cancel
-If you have a flashing message light on your handset
-Pick up the handset and dial 773
-You will hear a confirmation tone, and the light will be cancelled.

8/ Conference
-Enables you to have a three way conversation
-With a call in progress, press screen option CONF
-Place 2nd call (internal or external), once call is connected press ADD
-Press screen option BEGIN to establish three way conversation
9/ Last Number Redial
-Press Redial Key (if this is done with the handset down you can now scroll your
redial list by pressing up and down on the navigator dial)
-Dial # to dial the number or just pick up the handset.
10/ Station Camp -On
-If you have tried calling an extension and the line is busy, dial # then hang up the
handset.
-Your handset will then automatically call you back when that extension becomes
free. Once you answer the call back the system will call the extension you were
trying to contact.
11a/ Call Pick Up All Areas
-Upon hearing a ring at another extension, lift handset and dial *# to pick up the
call
11b/ Call Pick Up Direct
-Upon hearing a ring at a particular extension, lift handset, dial ** followed by
extension number of the handset that is ringing.
12/ Paging All Areas
-Lift handset, dial 7011
-Announce call
13/ Intercom
-Dial extension number, wait for ring tone, then press 1
14/ Tone Override
-When calling a busy extension
-Dial * (tone override code) to send a tone to the busy party
-Receiving party will see a red flash on their handset and will receive a tone
through their external speaker.
-The receiving party can place current call on hold and speak with 2nd party.
15/ Do Not Disturb
Set
-Dial 747 followed by 3
-DND ALL will be displayed on your phone
Cancel
-Dial 747 followed by 0

16/ Speed Dial / Abbreviated Dialling
- System (000-999)
-System must be programmed from extension 101
-Press Speaker
-Dial 753
-Dial speed dial location number SYS(000-999)
-Dial telephone number
-HOLD
-Dial name of party ( Max 11 letters ) use numerical keys
-HOLD to save then Speaker to exit.
NB: Press # for a space
NB: Press CONF to delete last letter
Retrieving speed dials
-Press the Silver Navigator Dial to the Right
-Enter first letter of name
-Press up or down arrow to scroll that letter
-Once you have the number desired on the screen, pick up handset to place the
call.
Or
-Press the Silver Navigator Dial to the Left for Redial
-Enter the position the speed dial has been stored behind (000-999)
-Pick up the handset to dial
17/ One Touch Key Programming
- To program a function key
-Dial 751
-Press the key you wish to assign
-Dial 01 to assign as a one touch key
-Enter the dialled digits
oFor an extension key enter the extension number ie 101
oFor an external number enter zero, then the number ie. 0 0411 111 111
-Press HOLD to save
-Press Speaker to exit

18/ Changing Extension Name
-Press Speaker and dial 700
-Enter the extension number of the phone you wish to change
-Enter the new name over the old using the numerical keypad.
-Press Hold to save
19/ To Change Time
-Press SPK
-Dial 728
-Dial Hour ( 2 digits in 24 hour time )
-Dial Minute ( 2 digits )
-Press SPK to exit
20/ To Retrieve Missed Call Information
If you have a picture of a telephone with an arrow in the top left corner of your screen
This is to notify you that you have missed calls to be viewed.
To retrieve
-Press screen option List
-Press screen option CID
-You can now scroll up and down through the missed calls to your handset
Once you have viewed the missed calls the icon on the screen will disappear.
21/ To Change your Ring Tones
-Press Speaker
-Dial 720
-Dial 1 for Internal ring tones; or dial 2 for external ring tones
-Dial ring tones from 1-8 to hear and select ring tones
-Press Speaker to save and exit

1/ Retrieving your Voice Mail Messages
When a voice mail message is left on your phone, the LED at the top of your handset will
flash red to notify you of the message.
•Pick up handset and dial 3999 (or press assigned key)
•Enter your mailbox number
•Press the screen option LSTN to hear your messages
Your messages will now play back to you. Your screen options will now change giving you
additional features such as Next, Pause Delete. If you press the More key you will get
additional options such as Rewind and Fast Forward.
2/ Changing your Voice Mail Greeting
•Dial 3999
•Dial your extension number
•Press the screen option Greet
•Select your Greeting number –by default this is Gr1
•From here you can select one of three options
oListen to your current message
oRe Record your current message
oDelete your current message
•Once you have re recorded your current message press the screen option Done to save
your recording, then hang up.
3/ Forwarding your Phone to Voice Mail
•Pick up the handset and dial
o741 to forward your all calls Immediately
o742 to forward your calls on Busy
o743 to forward your calls on No Answer
o744 to forward your call on Busy & No Answer
•Dial 1 to Set the forward or dial 0 to cancel
•Enter the forward destination of 3999 (Voice Mail) to activate
•Hang up

Setting your VRS Message
To Record Your Message
Pick up the handset
Dial 616
Dial 7 to Re Record your message
Enter you message number from 001-100
Record message after the tone
Press # to end the recording
To Listen to Your Message
Pick up the handset
Dial 616
Dial to Listen to your message
Enter you message number from 001-100
Recording will now play back to you
Recording Your Night Voice Mail Message
Press the Night Messages Key Programmed on your Main Handset
Press the screen option Greet
Select your Greeting number –by default this is Gr1
From here you can select one of three options
LSTN - Listen to your current message
REC - Re Record your current message
DEL - Delete your current message
Once you have re recorded your current message press the screen option Done to save your
recording, then hang up.
Retrieving Your Night Messages
When a voice mail message is left after hours, the LED on your Night Messages Key will
flash red to notify you of the message.
•To retrieve that message press the flashing Night Messages Key
•Press the screen option LSTN to hear your messages
