NL1901ACV VOIP/SIP Service Overview
Pre-requisite
VoIP Account Details
You need your VoIP account details to be able to configure VoIP Service, please contact your SIP provider or
Internet Service provider if you do not have the VoIP account details.
Latest Firmware Version
Ensure that your NL1901ACV is running the latest firmware version.
Log in to the web user interface (see below) and check the current Software Version on the Device Info page:
Confirm that this is the latest firmware version for NL1901ACV from the following NetComm Support link:

Login to Web User Interface
Connect a computer and theNL1901ACV using an Ethernet cable. (A yellow Ethernet cable was provided with your
NL1901ACV).
1Open a web browser (such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox), type following address into the address
bar and press Enter.
http://192.168.20.1
2Enter the following credentials in the User Name and Password fields:
User Name: admin
Password: The serial number found on the label on the back of the device
3Click the Login button.
Note
– If no authentication prompt is displayed or you see a request time out message, refer to the What if I cannot access Web User
Interface guide from FAQs section.
SIP Basic Settings
1Click Voice from the left-hand side menu and then click SIP Basic Setting:

2Select Use SIP Proxy for SIP Account 1, Use SIP Outbound Proxy for SIP Account 1 and Use SIP
Registrar for SIP Account 1 and fill them with the SIP Domain name as given by your VoIP Provider.
3If you have 2nd VoIP account then please also tick 
Use SIP Proxy for SIP Account 2 ,  Use SIP Outbound
Proxy for SIP Account 2 and  Use SIP Registrar for SIP Account 2 and fill them with the SIP Domain name as
given by your VoIP Provider; otherwise don't tick them.
4Type in your Authentication Name, Cid Name and Cid Number by using your VoIP Phone number and use
the same number for Authentication name as well or use the correct VoIP username if it's different from your
phone number.
5Type in your VoIP password as given to you by your VoIP Service Provider.
6Click the Apply button.

SIP Advanced Settings
1Click Voice from the left-hand side menu and then click SIP Basic Setting:
2Ensure that the DTMF Relay Setting in the Payload Setting section is set to RFC2833.
3Click the Apply button.
Confirm Settings
1If all the settings are correct then click Voice from the left-hand side menu and then click VoIP Status.
2If the Registration Status as UP, it means the VoIP is running and ready to be used.
3Check for a dial tone on your phone handset.
The VoIP account should now be active, and you should now be able to make and/or receive VoIP phone calls
(depending on the type of VoIP account you are using).
