Before assembling, please check the shipping
carton. You should have:

(2) 6” adjustable wrenches or 1/2” wrenches.
If the nail drag is not assembled, the wheel kit must be installed rst.
If the nail drag has been assembled, the front and rear
retainer plates and upper clam shells must be removed to
install the wheel kit.
Mount wash wheel assembly to the two holes, front and rear,
on each side of the nail drag. Use the 5/16" bolts, washers,
and nuts provided with the kit. The nuts and washers must go
to the inside of the frame. When properly installed the
handles should rotate forward so that the wheels trail behind.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the nail drag has not been previously
assembled, refer to step 1: Aaching chain in the nail drag assembly
instrucons. You must combine step 1: Aaching chain with the
installaon of the wheel kit.
To adjust wheel height, open ring on lynch pin and remove pin. Move
to desired locaon and reinstall pin and close ring.

Read all instructions before assembling. If you purchased a wheel kit with your nail drag, the wheel kit
needs to be installed at this time. See wheel kit instructions.
STEP 1: Attaching Chain
A. Lay lower frame section (2) open side up on flat surface.
B. Insert end link of 3/16" proof chain (3) into end of tubing on Lower frame section (2). Insert 5/16 -24
x 1 1/2 bolt (6) through outside wall of tubing, through end of link and inside wall of tubing.
C. Attach 5/16-24 Lock nut (7) to bolt and tighten snugly.
D. Repeat steps B & C on opposite side.
E. Assembly should look like bottom illustration.

NOTE assembly by two people
recommended.

Step 2: Installing the upper clam shell.
A. Place upper clam shell (10) open side down into lower frame
section (2). Make certain holes in upper claim shell align with hole
in lower frame section.
Step 3: Installing the drag nails:
A. Lift end of lower frame section (2) to a vertical position.
B. Insert 17 drag nails (4) through holes in upper clam shell (10),
then through holes in lower frame section. NOTE: nails may
need to be tapped into place with hammer.
Step 4: Installing the retainer plate.
A. Insert 3/8-16 x 2 1/2 bolt (5) through 3/8 flat washer
(9) then through holes in retainer plate (1), Upper clam
shell (10) and lower frame section (2).
B. Place a 3/8 flat washer (9) and 3/8-16 lock nut (8) on
the bolt and tighten firmly.
C. Repeat steps A & B on remaining three holes.
Step 5; Repeat steps 2 - 4 for remaining cross member.

THE NEWSTRIPE 18 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY
NEWSTRIPE, INC., WARRANTS TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER, FOR 18 (EIGHTEEN)
MONTHS AFTER DATE OF PURCHASE, THAT THE EQUIPMENT* HEREBY SOLD SHALL BE
FREE OF DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT
EXTEND TO ANY DAMAGE OR MALFUNCTION RESULTING FROM MISUSE, NEGLECT,
ACCIDENT, IMPROPER OPERATION, OR NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.
Damage incurred in shipment from Newstripe, Inc. to the customer is the total responsibility of the
carrier. The CUSTOMER MUST NOTE DAMAGES on the Bill of Lading of Trucking Company or
Railroad; and Newstripe, Inc. will furnish to the customer the cost or parts and labor. The customer can
then bill the common carrier for the damages by placing his signature on the documents.
The Newstripe, Inc. obligation under this warranty and any implied warranties is limited to replacement
or repair of defective parts of its manufacture without charge for 18 (Eighteen) months from date of
purchase. For service under this warranty, buyer shall ship the defective part or parts of the equipment,
transportation prepaid, to Newstripe, Inc. together with a written description of any claimed defect and
proof of purchase date of the materials being returned.
*Gasoline engines, compressors, pumps (including airless) and Transaxles are furnished with their
respective manufacturer's warranties only. Such components are not covered by any warranty of
Newstripe, Inc. Where Newstripe elects to extend manufacturers’ warranties, the warranty shall be
pro-rated as to cover 100% of the cost to replace or repair materials and parts for the first 12
months of ownership and 60% for the remaining 6 month period.
The responsibilities described above are the only responsibilities of Newstripe, Inc. under this written
warranty or any implied warranty, and may be exercised only within 18 (Eighteen) months from the date
of purchase. In no event shall Newstripe, Inc. be liable for incidental or consequential damages and no
person had any authority to bind it to any representation or warranty, not be responsible for work done,
materials furnished or repairs made by others without its' specific written authorization.
THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND THERE IS NO OTHER REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF
ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE GOODS SOLD HEREBY EXCEPT AS SET FORTH HEREIN.
IT IS EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE
ADJUSTMENT, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF PARTS AND THE LABOR AND SERVICES
REQUIRED THEREBY. IN NO EVENT, INCLUDING ANY CLAIM FOR NEGLIGENCE, SHALL
NEWSTRIPE, INC. BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
