CONTROL PANEL FEATURES
Features
1. Oscillation button
This button is used to allow the air outlet to oscillate in a left and right direction.
2. Power button
This button is used to turn ON or OFF the heater.
3. Power indicator
This indicator glows when the heater is turned ON.
4. Temperature indicators
These indicators will glow when setting the operating temperature of the heater.
5. Humidifier indicator
This indicator glows when the heater is set in the humidifier mode.
6. LED display
When the heater is plugged in, the LED display will show the room temperature. In
auto mode, the set temperature value is displayed for two minutes after the desired
temperature is set.
7. Mode indicators
These indicators will glow based on the mode setting. For e.g. if the heater functions
in fan mode, the fan LED will glow.
8. Mode button
This button is used to set the heater in auto mode, low heat mode, high heat mode
and fan mode. Press the button for the first time to set the heater in auto thermostat
mode. Press the button for a second time to set the heater in high heat mode. Press
the button for a third time to set the heater in low heat mode. Press the button for a
fourth time to set the heater in fan mode.
9. Increase button
This button is used to increase the operating temperature and timer value.
10. Decrease button
This button is used to decrease the operating temperature and timer value.
11. Timer indicator
This indicator glows when the timer function is activated using the remote control.
12. Humidifier button
This button is used to set the heater in humidifier mode.

FEATURES OF REMOTE CONTROL INCLUDED
1. Humidifier button
This button is used to set the heater in humidifier mode.
2. Timer button
This button is used to turn OFF the heater at a desired time. The timer function can
be set only using the remote control.
3. Mode button
This button is used to set the heater in auto mode, low heat mode, high heat
mode and fan mode. Press the button for the first time to set the heater in auto
thermostat mode. Press the button for a second time to set the heater in high heat
mode. Press the button for a third time to set the heater in low heat mode. Press
the button for a fourth time to set the heater in fan mode.
4. Decrease (-) button
This button is used to decrease the time.
5. Increase (+) button
This button is used to increase the time.
6. Oscillation button
This button is used to allow the air outlet to oscillate in a left and right direction.
ELECTRICAL CONFIGURATION
The three-blade (three-prong) grounding-type plug (1) provided with the heater must be
fitted only into a grounded outlet.

!WARNING:
• Do not fit an adapter into a two-slot wall outlet unless the ground plug
of the adapter is properly connected to a building ground.
• Never connect the adapter to a three-slot grounded outlet.
• Do not use the heater without a properly grounded outlet or adapter,
doing so may result in an electrical shock.
1. Overheat shut-o protection system
This feature shuts down the heater automatically if it gets overheated due to any
abnormal condition.
2. Inlet air overheat protection system
This feature shuts down the heater automatically if it gets overheated due to the
obstruction of inlet air duct.
3. Safety tip-over switch
This feature shuts the heater OFF automatically when it is tipped over in any
direction. When returned to a normal upright position, the heater is ready for use
again. This is a safety feature to avoid the possibility of a fire, if the heater is tipped
accidentally.

1. Carefully unpack the heater and take
out the humidifier.
2. Open the cover (1) of the humidifier (2)
and remove the bottle connector (3).

3. Fill the water bottle (1) with distilled
water. Screw the bottle connector (2)
to the mouth of the water bottle.
4. Insert the humidifier on the rear side
of the heater. Make sure the tabs (1) of
the humidifier are completely engaged
with the corresponding hooks (2) of the
heater. Ensure the DC plug (3) of the
heater is connected to the DC jack (4)
of the humidifier.
5. Open the air outlet cover (1) provided
at the top of the heater. Insert the
bottle (2) with the connector in an
inverted position into the opening on
the humidifier cover.
INSTALLING THE HUMIDIFIER
!WARNING:
• Use only distilled water to maintain proper functioning of the heater.
• Make sure the bottle connector is tightened to the bottle to prevent
water leakage.
2. Connect the power cord (1) of the
heater into a grounded 120 V AC
outlet (2).
3. Press the power button (1) to turn ON
the heater. The power indicator (2)
will glow. Set the mode button (3) to
the desired mode (auto, low, high or
fan mode). The corresponding mode
indicators will glow based on the mode
setting. Refer to the section “Features”
on page 5.

1. Place the heater (1) on a flat, level
surface free from obstructions, and at
least 3' (0.9 m) away from any wall or
combustible material.
4. Press the mode button (3) for
3 seconds to shut OFF the heater. The
fan will continue to run until all the heat
is expelled. Once the heat is expelled,
the heater will turn OFF automatically
and will be in standby mode. Press the
mode button to turn on the heater
again. When the heater is not in use,
press the power button (1) to fully shut
down the heater. The power indicator
will turn OFF.
!WARNING:
• Do not move the heater immediately after operation. The heater may
become hot. Allow the heater to cool down.
• The health of some small pets including birds is extremely sensitive to
the fumes produced during the initial use of many appliances. Although
these fumes are not harmful to humans, it is not recommended to use the
heater around birds and small pets during its initial use.
TURNING ON/OFF THE HEATER
NOTE: There may be a trace of smoke or odour when the appliance is
operated for the first time. This is normal and will go away after a few minutes
of use.

1. Press the increase button (1)
once until the LED display (2) indicates
the room temperature. The room
temperature indicator (3) will glow.
Adjust the temperature by pressing the
buttons (1) and (4) to increase or decrease
the temperature respectively. The set
temperature indicator (5) will glow.
1. Make sure the humidifier (1) is fully
inserted into the two hooks on the
rear side of the heater (2). Refer to
the section “Installing the humidifier”
on page 8.
2. After the desired temperature is set,
the heater runs on high mode until
the room temperature reaches the set
temperature. The heater will then switch
to low mode for 10 minutes. The heater
turns OFF if the room temperature
is equal to or greater than the set
temperature. The fan will continue to
run for a minute until the residual heat is
expelled.

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE SETTING THE HUMIDIFIER
NOTE: The default temperature (factory) setting of the heater is 20 °C.
2. Press the humidifier button (1) to set
the heater to humidifier mode.
3. The humidifier shuts OFF automatically
when the water level is low. Turn OFF
the heater and remove the water
bottle from the humidifier. Fill the
bottle with distilled water and refit it
to the humidifier. Refer to the section
“Installing the humidifier” on page 8.
!CAUTION:
To prevent leakage, do not move the heater quickly when the humidifier is
filled with water.
For e.g. if the set temperature is 22 °C,
the heater will run on high mode until
the room temperature reaches 22 °C.
The heater will then switch to low mode
for 10 minutes. The heater turns OFF
if the room temperature is equal to or
greater than 22 °C.
1. Press the oscillation button (1) once.
The air outlet (2) will oscillate left and
right.
1. Press the timer button (1) until
the default time “3.0” hours starts
flashing on the LED display. The timer
indicator (2) will glow.

SETTING THE OSCILLATION MODE
SETTING THE TIMER USING REMOTE
CONTROL
NOTE:
Ensure the heater is placed in a stable position so it does not fall over.
2. Press the increase “+” button (1) to
increase the set time or the decrease
“–” button (2) to decrease the set time.
The timer can be set from 1 to 12
hours. When the set time is reached,
the LED display stops flashing and the
heater will shut OFF automatically. The
up “ “ and down “ “ buttons on the
product control panel are also capable
of altering the timer duration after
the timer mode is initiated with the
remote control.
3. To turn OFF the timer, follow step 1,
and press the “–” button until the timer
is set to 0. The timer indicator stops
flashing to indicate that the timer is
turned OFF.
2. Press the oscillation button again to
turn OFF the oscillation mode.

CLEANING THE ELECTROSTATIC FILTER
!WARNING:
Do not allow water to enter into the interior of the heater, as this could
create a fire or electric shock hazard.

1. Before cleaning, turn the heater OFF using the power button and unplug it from the
electrical outlet.
2. Use a soft, damp cloth or vacuum cleaner to remove light accumulation of dust.
3. Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater occasionally with a damp cloth (not dripping
wet), using a solution of mild detergent and water. Dry the case thoroughly before
using the heater.
3. Clean the filter (2) using a vacuum cleaner.
4. Refit the filter board (1) into the spring-loaded slot on the back of the heater by
sliding it upwards.
The heater has an electrostatic filter located at the back. To ensure ecient operation
of the heater, the filter should be cleaned once per month and whenever dust gets
accumulated on it.
1. Turn OFF the heater using the power button and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
Allow the heater to cool down before removing the filter.
2. Remove the filter board (1) provided at the back of the heater by sliding it
downwards.
NOTE: The fan motor is factory-lubricated and will not require further
lubrication.

To ensure ecient operation, the humidifier should be cleaned once per month and
whenever needed.
1. Before cleaning, turn the heater OFF using the power button and unplug it from the
electrical outlet.
2. Press the two hooks provided at the back of the heater. Push and remove the
humidifier.
3. Open the top cover of the humidifier.
4. Clean the humidifier with water.
Always remove the batteries if the remote control is not to be used for a month or more.
To insert or remove the batteries, follow the steps below:
1. Press and open the battery cover (1) provided at the back of the remote control.
2. Insert or remove the two batteries (2) from the battery cavities. Ensure the batteries
are inserted in correct position according to the below images.
3. Refit the battery cover.
1. Before storing the heater allow it to cool.
2. When not in use, pack the heater in its original carton or suitable container.
3. Store the heater in a cool and dry location.
!WARNING:
• Do not attempt to service the heater yourself. Any servicing must be
performed by an authorized service representative.
• Do not store the batteries inside the remote control when not in use
over an extended period of time. This may cause leakage and battery
damage.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc)
and rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

Troubleshooting
Follow all basic precautions and instructions when using electrical appliances, to reduce
risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons or property.
1. Read all instructions before using this heater.
2. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and
curtains at least 3' (0.9 m) from the front, rear and sides of the heater.
3. Do not allow children to handle the heater. Extreme supervision is necessary when
using the heater near children, bystanders or physically-challenged persons.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or
instructed on the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
5. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor
locations. Never place the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water
container.
6. Do not use the heater outdoors.
7. Do not use this heater in areas where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are used or
stored. This heater may have hot, arcing or sparking parts inside.
8. Do not use the heater on a soft surface, such as a bed, where the ventilation openings
may become blocked.
9. Do not route the power cord under carpeting, furniture or appliances. Do not
cover the cord with throw rugs or runners. Make sure the cord is kept away from
highly travelled areas so that it will not be tripped over.
10. Do not operate the heater if there is damage to the power cord or if the heater has
been dropped, damaged or malfunctions. Return the heater to an authorized service
facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
11. Do not leave the heater unattended.
12. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening of
the heater, as these may cause electric shock, fire or damage to the heater.
13. To prevent fire, do not block air intake and/or exhaust of the heater in any manner.
14. Do not touch the heater while in use to avoid skin burns.
15. When not in use, always turn the heater OFF and unplug the power cord from the
outlet.

16. Always connect the heater directly to a properly-grounded outlet. Never use an
extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
17. Do not plug the heater into a worn outlet, as doing so may cause the power cord
to become hot or distorted, resulting in overheating of the cord and causing a fire.
Replace worn outlets prior to further use of the heater.
18. Make sure the plug is fully inserted into an appropriate outlet. Check periodically for
signs of overheating or deformations in the plug as outlets deteriorate due to aging
and continuous use. Have the damaged outlets repaired by a qualified electrician.
19. Never clean the heater while it is plugged in. Do not immerse the heater in water.
WARNING:
It is recommended to use this heater for household or personal use only. Any
other purpose including but not limited to commercial, agricultural or outdoor
use, is not recommended by the manufacturer. Doing so may cause fire, electric
shock, personal injury or damage to property.
PET WARNING:

produced during the initial use of many appliances. Although these fumes are
not harmful to humans, it is not recommended to use the heater around birds
and small pets during its initial use.
NOTE:
• The heater’s plug and power cord will be warm to the touch after use. This is
normal and does not aect performance in any way.
• This heater includes an overheat protection system that shuts the
heater OFF when it gets overheated. If this happens, turn the heater OFF
immediately and inspect for any objects on or adjacent to the heater which
may cause the heater to overheat. Do not operate the heater until it is reset.
To reset the heater, turn it OFF, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and wait
for 5 to 10 minutes until the heater cools down. Once the heater has cooled
down, plug it back into the outlet and turn the heater ON.
