SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read all instructions before using this heater.
2. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows,
bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 3' (0.9 m)
from the front, top, side and rear portions of the
heater.
3. Do not allow children to handle the heater. Extreme
supervision is necessary when using the heater near
children or other personnel.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Young
children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
5. Ensure the heater is placed on a stable, secure surface to
avoid risk of tipping it over. Never place the heater in
such a way that it may fall into a bathtub or other water
container.

6. This heater is not intended for use in a bathroom, laundry
area or similar moist, indoor locations.
7. Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover
the cord with throw rugs or runners. Make sure that the
cord is away from highly travelled areas and from areas
which are frequently used so that it will not be tripped
over.
8. Do not leave the heater unattended.
9. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any
ventilation or exhaust opening of the heater, as these
may cause electric shock, fire or damage to the heater.
10. Do not use the heater on a soft surface, such as a bed,
where the ventilation openings can be blocked.
11. Do not block air intake and exhaust of the heater in any
manner to prevent fire.
12. Do not touch the heater when it is in use to avoid skin
burns.
13. Use the carry handle when moving the heater. Never
pull the heater using the power cord.
14. Do not use the heater outdoors. This heater is not
intended for use in any area where there is still or
stagnant water.
15. Do not use this heater in areas where gasoline, paint or
flammable liquids are used or stored. This heater may
have hot, arcing or sparking parts inside.
16. Do not operate any heater if there is damage to the
power cord or if the heater has been dropped, damaged
or malfunctions. Return the heater to an authorized
service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment, or repair.

17. This heater draws 12.5 A during operation. To prevent
overload and blown fuses, always plug the heater into a
dedicated electrical circuit. Do not plug in any
other electrical appliance on the same electrical circuit
in which the heater is plugged in.
18. Do not plug the heater in to a worn AC outlet. Doing so
may cause the power cord to become hot or distorted
resulting in overheating of the cord and causing fire.
Always replace the worn outlets prior to further use of
the heater.
19. Make sure there is no loose connection between the AC
outlet and the plug, as this may cause overheating and
distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to
replace the loose or worn outlet.
20. Use of this heater is not recommended for persons with
reduced sensitivity to heat or inability to react to burns.
The output of this heater may vary and its temperature
may become intense enough to burn exposed skin.
21. When not in use, always disconnect the heater by
turning the power switch to the OFF position, then
unplug the power cord from the outlet.
22. This heater cannot provide professional-grade
temperature control and should not be used to keep a
storage unit from freezing or to maintain temperature
for animals, pets, plants, etc.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
TO ATTACH WHEELS:
1) Unpack heater and locate wheel-holding plates stored between the fins.
2) Ensure the power is turned o and the heater is unplugged.
3) TURN THE HEATER UPSIDE DOWN.
4) Attach the wheel-holding plates using the butterfly nuts as shown.
5) TURN THE HEATER UPRIGHT.
Your heater is now ready to use.
WARNING: Risk of fire. Do not operate heater without wheel
assemblies attached.
Operate heater in upright position only—any other position could
create a hazardous situation.
Ensure that the surface beneath the heater is clean and free of any
obstructions. It is not recommended that this heater be placed on
high-pile carpeting or any other surface that impedes the flow of
air underneath the heater.

• Ensure that the heater and power cable are both in good condition.
• Place the heater on a firm, level surface free from obstructions and at
least 3’ (0.9 m) from any wall or other object such as furniture, chairs,
plants, or combustible material.
• With the heater turned o, plug into a standard, grounded 120 V AC,
60 Hz outlet.
• Important: your heater is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). This plug will only fit into an outlet one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still won’t
fit, contact a qualified electrician to have a polarized outlet installed.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. To do so could result in
an electric shock hazard.

1. Turn on and select mode/heat setting:
Turn on the power switch and press the ON/OFF button to turn
on the heater. Press the ON/OFF button again to turn o the heater.
Press the MODE button to select the heat setting,
Heater operates at a high wattage—approximately 1500 W.
Heater operates at a medium wattage—approximately 900 W.
Heater operates at a lower wattage—approximately 600 W.
2. Set the temperature:
When the heater is in operation, press the (Temperature Increase)
or (Temperature Decrease) button to raise or lower the set
temperature from 18 to 30°C (64 to 86°F). The heater will
automatically set the temperature to the default setting of (30°C/86°F)
if the temperature is not set within 2 minutes after turning on the
heater.
3. Set the timer:
When the heater is o, the timer is used to set your desired "turn on"
time. When the heater is on, the timer is used to set your desired "turn
o" time.
To set the timer, press the timer button ( ) repeatedly to cycle
through the options: 2h-4h-6h-8h-10h-o. The time selected will be
displayed on the control panel.

OVERHEAT PROTECTION
This heater includes an overheat protection system that shuts the unit
o when parts of the heater overheat. If this occurs, turn the heater o,
unplug it, and inspect and remove any objects on or adjacent to the
heater that may cause high temperatures. Wait 10 to 20 minutes for the
unit to cool down then plug it back in and resume normal operation.
TIP-OVER SWITCH
Your heater is equipped with a tip-over switch which is designed to
automatically shut o unit when tipped forward or backwards. When
returned to normal upright position, the heater will automatically come
on again. This is a feature to avoid possibility of fire should the unit be
accidentally tipped over.
POWER INDICATOR LIGHT
This heater is equipped with a power indicator light. The power light will
illuminate when the heater is plugged in. This feature is to prevent you
from being unaware the heater is in operation.

SAFETY FEATURESCLEANING AND STORAGE

THERMAL CUT-OFF
This heater includes a thermal cut-o that shuts the unit o when the
heater overheats due to abnormal conditions. If this occurs, the heater
will shut o permanently. Contact the service centre, and do not
attempt to repair the heater by yourself.
1. Before any cleaning:
a. Make sure that the heater is turned OFF.
b. Disconnect power supply at source by removing plug from power
outlet.
2. Regular cleaning:
a. Dust can often be removed by using a vacuum cleaner with a
crevice tool attachment.
b. Do not use cleaning spray-on liquids or other chemicals on the
unit.
c. To clean enclosure, use a clean, soft and lightly damp cloth to
gently wipe o the dirt from the surface of the unit. Be sure not to
wet the heating element or the switches. Allow the unit to dry
completely before further use.
3. Storage:
a. After cleaning, wipe all parts to dry.
b. Wind the power cable around the holder, pack the heater in a
plastic bag and store it in a cool, dry place.

 

TROUBLESHOOTING
If your heater fails to operate, please follow these procedures prior to contacting
Customer Service.
CAUTION: Please do not attempt to open or repair the heater yourself. Doing so
may void the warranty and could cause damage or personal injury.
Problem Cause Solution

Check for any obstructions. If you

If the heater does not restart,
unplug the heater and have it
checked by an authorized service
centre.

1. Lisez attentivement toutes les instructions avant d’utiliser
ce radiateur.
2. Gardez les matériaux combustibles, comme les meubles,
les oreillers, la literie, le papier, les vêtements et les
rideaux, à au moins 3 pi (0,9 m) du devant, du haut, des
flancs et de l’arrière du radiateur, et gardez-les éloignés
des côtés et de l’arrière de l’appareil.
3. Ne laissez pas les enfants manipuler le radiateur. Une
surveillance extrême est nécessaire lorsque vous utilisez
le radiateur à proximité d’enfants ou d’autres personnes.
4. Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à être utilisé par des
personnes (y compris des enfants) ayant des capacités
physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites, ou un
manque d’expérience et de connaissances, sauf si elles

5. Assurez-vous que le radiateur est placé sur une surface
stable et sécurisée afin d’éliminer la possibilité de le
renverser. Ne placez jamais le radiateur à un endroit où il
pourrait tomber dans une baignoire ou dans tout
récipient contenant de l’eau.
6. Ce radiateur n’est pas conçu pour être utilisé dans les
salles de bains, les buanderies ou autres pièces humides
similaires à l’intérieur.
7. Ne placez pas le cordon d’alimentation sous un tapis. Ne
couvrez pas le cordon d’alimentation avec un tapis ou
tout article similaire. Veillez à ce que le cordon soit
éloigné des zones très fréquentées et des zones
fréquemment utilisées afin d’éviter de trébucher dessus.
8. Ne laissez pas le radiateur sans surveillance.
9. Évitez d’insérer des objets ou de permettre leur insertion
dans les fentes du radiateur, car cela pourrait entraîner un
risque de choc électrique, d’incendie ou des dommages
au radiateur.
10. N’utilisez pas le radiateur sur une surface molle, comme
un lit, où les ouvertures de ventilation peuvent être
obstruées.
11. Pour prévenir tout incendie potentiel, n’obstruez pas les
entrées et les sorties d’air.
12. Pour éviter les brûlures de la peau, ne touchez pas le
radiateur lorsqu’il est en marche.
13. Utilisez la poignée de transport pour déplacer le
radiateur. Ne tirez jamais sur le radiateur en utilisant le
cordon d’alimentation.

14. N’utilisez pas ce radiateur à l’extérieur. Ce radiateur n’est
pas destiné à être utilisé dans un endroit où il y a de l’eau
stagnante ou immobile.
15. N’utilisez pas cet appareil dans des endroits où de
l’essence, de la peinture ou des matériaux inflammables
sont utilisés ou rangés. Ce radiateur comporte des pièces
chaudes ou des pièces qui produisent des arcs ou des
étincelles à l’intérieur.
16. Ne faites PAS fonctionner le radiateur avec un cordon
d’alimentation endommagé ou si le radiateur est tombé
par terre, est endommagé ou défectueux. Jetez le
radiateur ou retournez-le à un centre de service autorisé
pour examen, réglages mécaniques et électriques et/ou
réparation.
17. Ce radiateur consomme 12,5 ampères pendant le
fonctionnement. Pour éviter les surcharges et les fusibles
grillés, branchez toujours le radiateur sur un circuit
électrique dédié. Ne branchez aucun autre appareil
électrique sur le même circuit électrique que celui dans
lequel le radiateur est branché.
18. Ne branchez pas le radiateur sur une prise de courant
usée. Ce faisant, le cordon d’alimentation peut devenir
chaud ou se déformer, ce qui entraîne une surchaue du
cordon et provoque un incendie.
Les prises électriques usées doivent toujours être
remplacées avant une utilisation ultérieure du radiateur.

CONSERVEZ CES CONSIGNES
19. Assurez-vous qu’il n’y a pas de connexion lâche entre la
prise de courant et la fiche, car cela peut provoquer une
surchaue et une distorsion de la fiche. Communiquez
avec un électricien qualifié pour remplacer une prise mal
fixée ou abîmée.
20. L’utilisation de ce radiateur n’est pas recommandée pour
les personnes ayant une sensibilité réduite à la chaleur ou
une incapacité à réagir pour éviter les brûlures. Le
rendement de ce radiateur peut varier et sa température
peut devenir susamment intense pour brûler la peau
exposée.
21. Lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé, débranchez toujours le radiateur
en mettant l’interrupteur en position d'arrêt, puis
débranchez le cordon d’alimentation de la prise de
courant.
22. Ce radiateur ne peut pas fournir un contrôle de
température de qualité professionnelle et ne doit pas être
utilisé pour empêcher une unité de stockage de geler ou
pour maintenir la température des animaux, des animaux
domestiques, des plantes, etc.
23. Ne branchez cet appareil qu'à une prise correctement
mise à la terre.

INSTRUCTIONS D’ASSEMBLAGE
POUR ATTACHER LES ROUES :
1) Déballez le radiateur et repérez les plaques de maintien des roues
stockées entre les ailettes.
2) Assurez-vous que l’alimentation est coupée et que le radiateur est
débranché.
3) METTEZ LE RADIATEUR À L’ENVERS.
4) Fixez les plaques de support des roues à l’aide des écrous à oreilles
comme indiqué.
5) METTEZ LE RADIATEUR À L’ENDROIT.
Votre radiateur est maintenant prêt à l’emploi.
AVERTISSEMENT : Risque d’incendie. Ne faites pas fonctionner
l’appareil de chauffage sans que les roues soient fixées.
Ne faites fonctionner le radiateur qu’en position verticale - toute
autre position pourrait créer une situation dangereuse.
Assurez-vous que la surface sous le radiateur est propre et libre de
toute obstruction. Il n’est pas recommandé de placer ce radiateur
sur un tapis à poils longs ou sur toute autre surface qui entrave la
circulation de l’air sous le chauffage.

• Assurez-vous que le radiateur et le câble d’alimentation sont tous deux
en bon état.
• Placez le radiateur sur une surface ferme, plane et libre de toute
obstruction et à au moins 3 po (0,9 m) de tout mur ou autre objet tel
que des meubles, des chaises, des plantes ou des matériaux
combustibles.
• Une fois le radiateur éteint, branchez-le sur une prise standard, mise à
la terre, de 120 V CA, 60 Hz.
• Important : votre radiateur est muni d’une fiche polarisée (une lame
est plus large que l’autre). Sa fiche ne peut s’insérer dans une prise que
d’une seule manière. Si vous ne pouvez pas enfoncer complètement la
fiche dans la prise, inversez-la. Si elle ne s’insère toujours pas,
demandez à un électricien qualifié d’installer une prise polarisée. Ne
tentez pas d’annuler ce dispositif de sécurité. Le non-respect de cette
consigne pourrait entraîner des blessures graves.

1. Allumez et choisissez le réglage Mode/chaleur :
Allumez l’interrupteur et appuyez sur le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT
pour allumer le radiateur. Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton
MARCHE/ARRÊT pour éteindre le radiateur.
Appuyez sur le bouton MODE afin de sélectionner un réglage de
chaleur :
Le radiateur fonctionne à un niveau élevé d’environ 1 500 W.
Le radiateur fonctionne à un niveau moyen d’environ 900 W.
Le radiateur fonctionne à un niveau bas d’environ 600 W.
2. Choisir la température :
Lorsque le radiateur fonctionne, appuyez sur le bouton
(Augmentation de la température) ou (Diminution de la
température) pour augmenter ou diminuer la température réglée entre
18 à 30 °C (64 à 86 °F). Le radiateur règle automatiquement la
température sur le réglage par défaut de (30 °C/86 °F) si la
température n’est pas réglée dans les 2 minutes qui suivent la mise en
marche.
3. Configurer la minuterie :
Lorsque le radiateur est éteint, la minuterie est utilisée pour régler
l’heure de mise en marche souhaitée. Lorsque le radiateur est en
marche, la minuterie permet de régler le temps d’arrêt souhaité.
Appuyez sur la touche Minuterie ( ) à plusieurs reprises pour passer
entre les options suivantes : 2h-4 h-6 h-8 h-10 h-arrêt. L’heure
sélectionnée sera achée sur le panneau de commande.
