SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read all instructions before using heater.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let
bare skin touch hot surface. If provided, always use
handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible
materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers,
clothes and curtains at least 3' (0.9 m) from the front of
the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by
or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left
operating and unattended.
4. Always unplug the heater when not in use.
5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or
after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Discard heater or return heater
to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or
mechanical adjustment, or repair.

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should

6. Do not use the heater outdoors.
7. This heater is not intended for use in bathroom, laundry
areas and similar moist indoor locations. Never locate
heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water
container.
8. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord
with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not
route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord
away from trac area and where it will not be tripped
over.
9. CAUTION: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of shock, this
plug is intended to fit only one way in a polarized outlet.
If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO
NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature. To do so could
result in an electric shock hazard.
10. This heater draws 12.5 A during operation. To prevent
overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater into a circuit
that already has other appliances working.
11. CAUTION: It is normal for the plug to feel warm to the
touch; however, a loose fit between the AC outlet
(receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and
distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to
replace loose or worn outlet.
12. To disconnect the heater, first turn controls to o, then
remove plug from outlet. Never pull by the cord.
13. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any
ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an
electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.

14. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or
exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surface, like a
bed, where openings may become blocked.
15. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do
not use it in the areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable
liquids are used or stored.
16. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any
other use not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
17. CAUTION: Always plug heaters directly into a wall
outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or
reloadable power tap (outlet/power strip).
18. The output of this heater may vary and its temperature
may become intense enough to burn exposed skin. Use
of this heater is not recommended for persons with
reduced sensitivity to heat or an inability to react to avoid
burns.
19. Disposal of oil contained within should be in accordance
with applicable regional, national, and local laws and
regulations.
20. This heater cannot provide professional-grade
temperature control and should not be used to keep a
storage unit from freezing or to maintain temperature for
animals, pets, plants, etc.

Operating Instructions:
• Ensure that the heater and power cable are both in good condition.
• Place the heater on a firm, level surface free from obstructions and at
least 3’ (0.9 m) from any wall or other object such as furniture, chairs,
plants, or combustible material.
• With the heater turned o, plug into a standard, grounded 120 V AC,
60 Hz outlet.
• Important: your heater is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). This plug will only fit into an outlet one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still won’t
fit, contact a qualified electrician to have a polarized outlet installed.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. To do so could result in
an electric shock hazard.

Function Function description

Press once to turn the heater on.
Press once to turn on the oscillating function.
Press again to stop the heater from oscillating.
In regular mode, press to raise or lower the set temperature.
To set the timer, press the timer button, then press either "-" or "+" to select the desired time
up to 24 hours. The time selected will be displayed on the control panel.
Press to cycle through the available heating modes: High heat, low heat, fan only, ECO.
Power Indicator Light: The power light will illuminate when the heater is plugged in.
This feature is to prevent you from being unaware the heater is in operation.
Temperature display
The heat icon lights when the heater is operating.
In fan-only mode, the light does not illuminate.
The timer icon lights up when setting the timer.
When the timer is set, the icon will flash for 5 seconds.
This icon lights up when the energy-saving ECO function is selected.
This icon lights up when the high heat function is selected.
This icon lights up when the low heat function is selected.
This icon lights up when the fan-only function is selected.

OVERHEAT PROTECTION
This heater includes an overheat protection system that shuts the unit
o when parts of the heater overheat. If this occurs, turn the heater o,
unplug it, and inspect and remove any objects on or adjacent to the
heater that may cause high temperatures. Wait 10 to 20 minutes for the
unit to cool down then plug it back in and resume normal operation.
TIP-OVER SWITCH
Your heater is equipped with a tip-over switch which is designed to
automatically shut o unit when tipped forward or backwards. When
returned to normal upright position, the heater will automatically come
on again. This is a feature to avoid possibility of fire should the unit be
accidentally tipped over.
POWER INDICATOR LIGHT
This heater is equipped with a power indicator light. The power light will
illuminate when the heater is plugged in. This feature is to prevent you
from being unaware the heater is in operation.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

1. Before any cleaning:
a. Make sure that the heater is turned OFF.
b. Disconnect power supply at source by removing plug from power
outlet.
2. Regular cleaning:
a. Dust can often be removed by using a vacuum cleaner with a crevice
tool attachment.
b. Do not use cleaning spray-on liquids or other chemicals on the unit.
c. To clean enclosure, use a clean, soft and lightly damp cloth to gently
wipe o the dirt from the surface of the unit. Be sure not to wet the
heating element and the switches. Allow the unit to dry completely
before further use.
3. Cleaning the filter:
a. Remove filter as shown in Fig. 1 and 2.
b. Rinse filter separately and allow to completely dry.
c. Reinstall filter.
4. Storage:
a. After cleaning, wipe all parts to dry.
b. Pack the heater in a plastic bag or in its original box and store it in a
cool, dry place.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your heater fails to operate, please follow these procedures prior to contacting
Customer Service.
CAUTION: Please do not attempt to open or repair the heater yourself. Doing
so may void the warranty and could cause damage or personal injury.
Problem Cause Solution

Carefully remove the obstruction.

If the heater does not restart,
unplug the heater and have it
checked by an authorized service
centre.
The set temperature is

1. Lisez toutes les instructions avant d’utiliser l’article.
2. Ce radiateur devient chaud quand il fonctionne. Pour
éviter les brûlures, ne touchez pas la surface chaude avec
votre peau nue. Si cet article est doté d’une poignée,
utilisez-la pour déplacer l’appareil. Gardez les matériaux
combustibles, comme les meubles, les oreillers, la literie,
le papier, les vêtements et les rideaux, à au moins 3 pi (0,9
m) du devant du radiateur, et gardez-les éloignés des
côtés et de l’arrière de l’appareil.
3. Soyez très prudent et surveillez de près les enfants ou les
animaux lorsque le radiateur est laissé en marche sans
surveillance.
4. Débranchez toujours le radiateur lorsque vous ne l’utilisez
pas.

5. N’utilisez pas un radiateur dont une fiche ou un cordon
électrique est endommagé ou si l’appareil a subi une
défaillance, a fait une chute ou a été endommagé de
quelque façon. Jetez le radiateur ou retournez-le à un
centre de service autorisé pour examen, réglages
mécaniques et électriques et/ou réparation.
6. N’utilisez pas ce radiateur à l’extérieur.
7. Ce radiateur n’est pas conçu pour être utilisé dans les
salles de bains, les buanderies ou autres pièces humides
similaires à l’intérieur. Ne le placez jamais dans une
position où il risque de tomber dans une baignoire ou un
bassin d’eau.
8. Ne placez pas le cordon d’alimentation sous un tapis. Ne
couvrez pas le cordon d’alimentation avec un tapis ou
tout article similaire. Évitez de passer le cordon sous des
meubles ou appareils. Disposez le cordon à l’écart des
endroits passants où il ne risque pas de provoquer des
trébuchements.
9. ATTENTION : Cet appareil est muni d’une fiche polarisée
(une lame est plus large que l’autre). Afin de réduire les
risques de décharge électrique, cette fiche est conçue
pour s’insérer d’une seule façon dans une prise polarisée.
Si vous ne pouvez pas enfoncer complètement la fiche
dans la prise, inversez-la. S’il est toujours impossible de
l’enfoncer complètement, faites appel à un électricien
qualifié. Ne tentez PAS d’aller à l’encontre de ce dispositif
de sécurité. Le non-respect de cette consigne pourrait
entraîner des blessures graves.

10. Ce radiateur consomme 12,5 ampères pendant le
fonctionnement. Pour éviter de surcharger un circuit, ne
branchez pas le radiateur dans un circuit qui fait déjà
fonctionner d’autres appareils.
11. ATTENTION : Il est normal que la fiche soit chaude au
toucher; toutefois, une connexion lâche entre la prise CA
et la fiche peut causer une surchaue et une distorsion
de la fiche. Communiquez avec un électricien qualifié
pour remplacer une prise mal fixée ou abîmée.
12. Pour débrancher le radiateur, tournez les boutons de
commande vers la position d’arrêt, puis retirez la fiche de
la prise d’alimentation. Ne tirez jamais sur le cordon
d’alimentation.
13. Évitez d’insérer des objets ou de permettre leur insertion
dans les fentes de ventilation, car cela pourrait entraîner
un risque de choc électrique, d’incendie ou des
dommages au radiateur.
14. Pour prévenir tout incendie potentiel, n’obstruez pas les
entrées et les sorties d’air. Ne l’utilisez pas sur des
surfaces molles telles qu’un lit où les ouvertures risquent
de devenir bloquées.
15. Un radiateur comporte des pièces chaudes ou des pièces
qui produisent des arcs ou des étincelles à l’intérieur.
N’utilisez pas cet appareil dans des endroits où de
l’essence, de la peinture ou des matériaux inflammables
sont utilisés ou rangés.
16. Utilisez ce radiateur uniquement comme décrit dans ce
manuel. Toute autre utilisation non recommandée par le
fabricant peut causer un incendie, un choc électrique ou
des blessures.

17. ATTENTION : Branchez toujours l’article directement
dans une prise murale. N’utilisez pas une rallonge ou une
barre d’énergie rechargeable avec ce produit
(rallonge/barre multiprise)
18. Le rendement de ce radiateur peut varier et sa
température peut devenir susamment intense pour
brûler la peau exposée. L’utilisation de ce radiateur n’est
pas recommandée pour les personnes ayant une
sensibilité réduite à la chaleur ou une incapacité à réagir
pour éviter les brûlures.
19. L’élimination de l’huile qu’il contient doit être conforme
aux lois et règlements régionaux, nationaux et locaux
applicables.
20.Ce radiateur ne peut pas fournir un contrôle de
température de qualité professionnelle et ne doit pas être
utilisé pour empêcher une unité de stockage de geler ou
pour maintenir la température des animaux, des animaux
domestiques, des plantes, etc.

Instructions d'utilisation :
• Assurez-vous que le radiateur et le câble d’alimentation sont tous deux
en bon état.
• Placez le radiateur sur une surface ferme, plane et libre de toute
obstruction et à au moins 3 po (0,9 m) de tout mur ou autre objet tel
que des meubles, des chaises, des plantes ou des matériaux
combustibles.
• Une fois le radiateur éteint, branchez-le sur une prise standard, mise à
la terre, de 120 V CA, 60 Hz.
• Important : Votre radiateur est muni d’une fiche polarisée (une lame
est plus large que l’autre). Sa fiche ne peut s’insérer dans une prise que
d’une seule manière. Si vous ne pouvez pas enfoncer complètement la
fiche dans la prise, inversez-la. Si elle ne s’insère toujours pas,
demandez à un électricien qualifié d’installer une prise polarisée. Ne
tentez pas d’annuler ce dispositif de sécurité Le non-respect de cette
consigne pourrait entraîner des blessures graves.

Fonction Description
Mettez le radiateur en marche en appuyant une fois sur le bouton.
Appuyez à nouveau sur cette touche pour éteindre le radiateur.
Appuyez une fois pour activer la fonction d’oscillation.
Appuyez à nouveau pour arrêter l’oscillation du radiateur.
En mode normal, appuyez sur cette touche pour augmenter ou diminuer la température
réglée.
En mode minuterie, appuyez sur cette touche pour augmenter ou diminuer le temps de mise
en marche/arrêt souhaité.
Lorsque le radiateur est éteint, la minuterie est utilisée pour régler l’heure de mise en marche
souhaitée. Lorsque le radiateur est en marche, la minuterie permet de régler le temps d’arrêt
souhaité.
Pour régler la minuterie, appuyez sur la touche de minuterie, puis appuyez sur « -» ou « + »
le panneau de commandes.
Appuyez pour faire défiler les modes de chaleur disponibles : Chaleur élevée, chaleur basse,
ventilateur uniquement, ECO.
Pour éteindre l’écran, appuyez simultanément sur le bouton Mode et le bouton de la minuterie
pendant 3 secondes.
Témoin lumineux d’alimentation : Le voyant d’alimentation s’allume lorsque le radiateur est branché.
Cette fonction a pour but de vous éviter de ne pas savoir que le radiateur fonctionne.
L’icône de chaleur s’allume lorsque le radiateur fonctionne.
En mode ventilateur uniquement, la lumière ne s’allume pas.
L’icône de la minuterie s’allume lors du réglage de la minuterie.
Lorsque la minuterie est réglée, l’icône clignote pendant 5 secondes.
Cette icône s’allume lorsque la fonction ECO d’économie d’énergie est sélectionnée.
Cette icône s’allume lorsque la fonction de Chaleur élevé est sélectionnée.
Cette icône s’allume lorsque la fonction de Chaleur basse est sélectionnée.
Cette icône s’allume lorsque la fonction de ventilateur seul est sélectionnée.
