CAUTION: Disconnect power before opening indicator.
ASSEMBLY
The Indicator housing has liquid-tight cable
connectors for load cell, communication (I/O),
and AC power, as shown.
To open the housing, remove two screws on
either side, and gently fold the front panel away
from the rear panel.
Pass the load cell cable through the liquid-tight
connector and the large ferrite bead attached to
a plastic clip. Remove the screws holding the
switch cover plate. Connect the load cell cable
and wires as indicated on the diagram below.
Adjust Jumpers to match the load cell:
For a 2 mv/v load cell: short W1.
For a 3 mv/v load cell: open W1.
For a 4-wire load cell with no sense wires:
short both W2 and W3. For a 6-wire load cell
with sense wires, open W2 and W3.
For a load cell with an extra ground shield
wire, connect the shield wire to “GND” on J2.
Mount the Indicator on its Wall/Table Bracket
Mount to a vertical or horizontal solid surface.
(Hardware not supplied.) Adjust angle, then tighten knobs.

•Be sure local power supply matches input
voltage printed on Indicator label.
•Be sure the power cord does not pose an
obstacle or tripping hazard.
•Disconnect the product when cleaning.
•Do not operate this product in hazardous or
unstable environments.
•Use only approved accessories and
peripherals.
•Operate the product only under ambient
conditions specified in the Instruction
Manual.
•Service should be performed by
authorized personnel only.

OPERATION
On: Press ON. Indicator runs a display test, shows a series of
informational displays, and enters active weighing mode.
Off: Press and hold Off until OFF appears.
Press ZERO to zero the weight display. Scale must be stable.
Indicator zeros automatically at Power On.
Basic Weighing: Place item to be weighed on platform.
The illustration indicates a sample of 1.5 kg, Gross weight.
Manual Tare: If weighing an item in a container, place empty container on
the scale. Before taring, container’s weight is shown (example 0.5 kg).
Press TARE. Display shows zero.
(If container is removed, display shows container’s weight as negative.)
To clear the Tare value, empty the platform and press TARE.
The display shows gross weight (zero if platform is empty).
Pre-set Tare: enter a value on the keypad (eg, 1.000 kg). Press TARE.
Display shows Pre-set Tare as negative value, with PT indicator on.
(If TARE is not pressed within five seconds, display returns to previous
mode without saving a tare.)
To clear a Pre-set Tare value, clear platform, press TARE.

Displaying Gross, Net, Tare: When a tare has been entered, press G/N/T
successively to display Tare, Gross, and Net weights. After a few seconds
indicator automatically reverts to displaying NET weight.
ADDITIONAL OPERATIONS (See Instruction Manual for details.)
Changing Units of Measure: Press and hold Units until desired unit
appears. Only measuring units enabled in the Readout-Unit Menu are displayed.
Accumulation: collect data from multiple weighings, eg, number of samples,
total sample weight, average sample weight, standard deviation of sample
weight. To add a value to Accumulation memory, place item on the platform,
then short press NEXT +/-. Repeat this step for each additional item.
Checkweighing: enable it in Mode Menu. To check weight against preset target,
press Target. Enter value with numeric keypad. Press Next +/ −

positive. Press Target to accept entry.

MENU NAVIGATION
Press and hold until MENU appears on the display. CAL appears.
Use Yes, No, Back,and Exit to navigate in Menu Mode:
Allows entry / Accepts displayed setting and advances to next menu item.
Skips displayed menu / Rejects setting or item, advances to next available item.
Moves backwards through menus.
Exits directly to active weighing mode.
