Puta notebookorotheritembetweenthetableandtherecorderforclearerrecording.
•EvenifyoupresstheFOLDER/MENUbutton,thedisplaywillnotchangetocurrentrecordingtimeifthe
remainingrecordingtimeis 5 minutesor less.
•A beepwillsoundwhenremainingrecordingtimereaches60seconds,30seconds,and10seconds
whilerecording.
•Whenremainingrecordingtimeislessthan60seconds,therecording/playingdisplaylampstartsflashing
inred.Whentherecordingtimeisdecreasingto30or10seconds,thelampflashesfaster.
•TherecorderwillenterStopmodeifithasbeenleftpausedfor60minutesorlonger.
•Incaseofdifficultacousticconditionsorlowspeaker'svoice,recordingin€ID)HQorHOisrecommended.
Also,usageof an externalmicrophone(soldseparately)couldimprovethequalityof recordings.
•Theinputlevelcannotbeadjustedonthisrecorder.Whenyouconnecttherecordertoanexternal
device,executea testrecordingandadjusttheoutputleveloftheexternaldevice.

•Toavoidirritationtotheear,inserttheearphoneafterturndownthevolumelevel.
•Whenyoulistenwiththeearphoneduringplayback,donotraisethevolumetoo

Particularlyhelpfulforextendedrecording,theVCVAnotonlyconserves
memorybyturningoffrecordingduringsilentperiods,butalsomakes
playbackmoreefficientandconvenient.

•UsingtheFFandREWbuttons,theVCVAlevelcanbeadjustedin15levels.
•Therecording/playinglampislitduringrecording.WhentherecorderisinStandby

Apartfromusingthisunitasa recorder,youcanuseitasanexternalmemoryforyour
computer,asa storagedevice.
•YoucansavethevoicefilesrecordedwiththisrecorderonyourPCasback-up.
•Youcansaveimages,textdata,etc.onthisrecorder.
•TherecorderwillrecordinWMA(WindowsMediaAudio)format.
•TheaudiofilesrecordedbythisrecordercanbeplayedbackonyourcomputerusingWindowsMedia
Player.YoucanalsotransfertheWMAfilesdownloadedwithWindowsMediaPlayertoyourrecorder
andenjoythem(excludingfileswithcopyrightprotection).
Beforeyoudetachtherecorder,turnthe
