1.1 AVVERTENZA
Scopo di questo manuale è la trasmissione delle informazioni necessarie
all’uso competente e sicuro della smussatrice OMCA mod. SMV.
Per un corretto rapporto col prodotto, è necessario garantire leggibilità
e conservazione del manuale. In caso di deterioramento, o più
semplicemente per ragioni di approfondimento tecnico e operativo,
consultare direttamente il Costruttore.
Prima di operare sulla macchina, accertarsi sempre ed in via preventiva
di avere compreso il contenuto del manuale.
Il mancato rispetto delle prescrizioni in esso contenute esimono il
Costruttore da qualsiasi responsabilità. Qualora fossero necessari
approfondimenti, rivolgersi direttamente al Costruttore.
E' tassativamente vietato manomettere apparecchiature e/o dispositivi
di sicurezza.
Qualsiasi intervento di manutenzione va effettuato da personale
specializzato.
L’utilizzo di questa macchina è vietato per operazioni non indicate
specificatamente in questo manuale.

1.1 WARNINGS
The purpose of this handbook is to explain all the necessary information
for a safe and a right use of the chamfering machine OMCA mod. SMV.
It is very important to keep readable and in a good state of conservation
this handbook for a correct feeling with the product. In case of
somehow damage or if you need more technical information, please
contact the Manufacturer directly.
Before operate with the machine, be sure that you had learn all the
information of this handbook.
Failure to follow the instructions on this manual releases the
manufacturer from any liability. For any further information please
contact the Manufacturer directly.
It is strictly forbidden to tamper with the equipment and/or safety
devices.
Only specialized personal can execute all the maintenance operation.
A different use of the machine that is not authorized in this handbook
is strictly forbidden.

using the specifications reported on the label in front of the machine,

2.1 CAMPO DI UTILIZZO
La smussatrice SMV (Fig. 2.1) è una macchina che si può utilizzare
in due modi:
1- con il suo carrello, per effettuare smussi su lamiere di medie e grandi
dimensioni;
2- “sospesa” senza carrello, ove non sia possibile lavorare ad altezze
standard.
La SMV serve per effettuare smussature su qualsiasi tipo di materiale:
acciaio, acciaio inox, acciaio, leghe.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE THE MACHINE FOR PROCESSING
OTHER THAN THOSE SPECIFIED IN THIS MANUAL:
IT IS FORBIDDEN WORKING ON WOOD.
E’ VIETATO USARE LA MACCHINA PER LAVORAZIONI DIVERSE
DA QUELLE INDICATE NEL PRESENTE MANUALE:
AD ESEMPIO È VIETATO LAVORARE IL LEGNO.
WHEN THE MACHINE IS USED WITHOUT ITS TROLLEY, IS
ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT TO MOVE IT WITH AN ADEQUATE
SUPPORT, AND THE OPERATOR HAS TO KEEP THE MACHINE

2. AREA OF APPLICATION AND TECHNICAL DATA
2.1 AREA OF APPLICATION
The SMV (Pic. 2.1) chamfering machine can be used in two ways:
1-with its trolley, for chamfering on medium and big size sheets;
2-“hanged” without its trolley, when it is not possible to work at
standard heights.
The SMV is useful for chamfer every ferrous materials: alloys, duplex,
super duplex, saf, titanio.

3.1 DISIMBALLO
La macchina viene fornita imballata assieme al presente manuale di
istruzioni ed alle varie chiavi in dotazione.
Effettuare il disimballo della macchina togliendo i sigilli, e facendo
attenzione a non danneggiare le sue parti.
Al termine di questa operazione verificare l’integrità della macchina:
se c’è qualche problema, contattare immediatamente il rivenditore
comunicando i dati della macchina.
3.2 MOVIMENTAZIONE MACCHINA CON IMBALLO
La movimentazione della macchina imballata deve essere effettuata
mediante carrello elevatore o altro sistema meccanico avente
sufficiente resistenza (la macchina pesa circa 375 Kg).
Il disimballo e la movimentazione della macchina deve essere
effettuata con attenzione secondo le modalità descritte di seguito:
1) Rimuovere le regge e sfilare l’imballo in cartone, togliere le regge
interne che ancorano la macchina al basamento in legno;
2) Agganciare il dispositivo di sollevamento al golfare come indicato
in (Fig. 3.1);
3.3 MOVIMENTAZIONE MACCHINA CON CARRELLO
La macchina nasce con il suo carrello ed è preferibile l’utilizzo in
questa configurazione.
Essa può muoversi agevolmente su una pavimentazione regolare
normalmente esistente nelle officine, grazie alle ruote girevoli.
E’ possibile posizionarla nel suo sito di utilizzo semplicemente
spingendola dove desiderato.
Solo qualora la pavimentazione risultasse eccessivamente irregolare
rendendo impossibile la rotazione delle ruote, è necessario l’utilizzo di
un dispositivo di sollevamento (Fig.3.1).
3.1 UNPACKAGE
The machine is supplied packed complete with this handbook and
different wrenches.
Unpack the machine by removing the seals, taking care not to break
any parts.
When the machine is duly unpacked, check that all its part are in
perfect condition. If any anomalous conditions is noticed, contact
immediately your Seller by telling the data of the machine.
3.2 HANDLING WITH PACKING
Handling of the machine with its package must be done with a lift
truck or an overhead travelling crane, which is enough resistant (the
weight of machine is about 375 Kg).
The unpackage and the handling of the machine must be done
paying attention to the following instructions:
1) Remove the locking straps and slip off the carton box, remove the
internal straps that anchor the machine on the wooden base;
2) Hook the lifting device at the eyebolt as showed on (Pic. 3.1);
3.3 MACHINE HANDLING WITH TROLLEY
The machine has been designed with its trolley; and it is preferable to
use in this configuration.
The machine can easily move on a regular floor normally present in
the workshop, thanks to swivel wheels.
It’s possible to move the machine by pushing it wherever you desired.
Only in case of irregular floor, making impossible the wheels rotation,
requires the use of a lifting device (Pic.3.1).

3.4 MOVIMENTAZIONE MACCHINA SENZA CARRELLO
La macchina priva del suo basamento deve essere aggangiata
all’apposito golfare e movimentata con un dispositivo di sollevamento
(Fig.3.1) .

3.5 INSTALLAZIONE ELETTRICA
La macchina è fornita con cavo di alimentazione:
3 fasi + , con sezione da 2,5 mm.
Prima dell’allacciamento alla tensione di rete, collegare il cavo di
alimentazione ad una spina di tipo industriale conforme alla norme
CEI EN 60309-1 con 3 fasi + , tensione di 400 V, portata di 16 A,
e grado di protezione almeno IP44.
Fare comunque riferimento allo schema elettrico.
Prima di collegare la macchina alla presa elettrica, accertarsi che
la linea abbia una sezione adeguata alla corrente di impiego della
macchina e che a monte sia presente un dispositivo di protezione
contro i sovraccarichi.
L’impianto di terra ed il dispositivo di interruzione a monte della
macchina devono essere coordinati in modo da assicurare la
protezione contro i contatti indiretti secondo la norme CEI 64-8.
Accertarsi che tale protezione sia assicurata mediante un dispositivo
differenziale ad elevata sensibilità (30 mA).
Dopo aver collegato il cavo elettrico alla spina controllare il corretto
senso di rotazione della fresa (come indicato in Fig. 3.2) facendo
girare la macchina a vuoto.
1) Ruotare l’interruttore generale in posizione ON(1)(Fig.4.1A pos.C).
2) Premere il pulsante di start (Fig.4.1A pos.E) e controllare il corretto
senso di rotazione della fresa (come indicato in Fig. 3.2).
3) Per fermare la macchina premere il pulsante rosso di stop
(Fig.4.1A pos.L).
Nel caso di rotazione errata invertire le due fasi nel collegamento della
spina.
3.5 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
The machine is supplied with power cable:
3 Phase + 2,5mm. cross section area.
Before connecting to the main voltage, connect to the power cable to
an industrial plug; in compliance with CEI EN 60309-1 Standard with
3 Phase + , 400 V, 16 Amp, protection class at least IP44.
Please refer anyway to the electrical diagram.
Before connecting the machine to the mains voltage, make sure that:
the line has suitable square section for the current absorbed by the
machine and that a proper protection device to prevent overloads is
duly installed.
The earthing system and the switching device located above the
machine must be set to ensure protection against indirect contacts,
according to CEI 64-8 Standards.
Make sure that this protection is duly assured by an adequate high
sensivity differential device (30 mA).
After connecting the power cable to the plug, make sure that the
milling cutter turns in the correct direction (as shown in Pic. 3.2) by
running the machine empty.
1) Turn the general switch to the position ON (1)(Pic.4.1A pos.C).
2) Push the START button (Pic.4.1A pos.E) and check the correct
cutter rotation direction. (as indicated on Pic. 3.2).
3) To stop the machine push the red button (Pic.4.1A pos.L).
In case of incorrect rotation reverse the two phases of the plug.
ATTENTION:
BEFORE STARTING MAINTENANCE, BE SURE THAT THE
GENERAL SWITCH IS ON POSITION OFF (0), MOREOVER
DISCONNECT THE PLUG FROM THE SOCKET.
ONLY SPECIALIZED OPERATORS CAN EXECUTE THE OPERATIONS
OF MAINTENANCE OF THE MACHINE, RESPECTING ALL THE
PROCEDURE ACCORDING TO THE SAFETY AND HEALTH LAWS IN
FORCE.
ATTENZIONE:
PRIMA DI ESEGUIRE OPERAZIONI DI MANUTENZIONE
ASSICURARSI CHE L’INTERRUTTORE GENERALE SIA IN
POSIZIONE OFF (0) INOLTRE DISINSERIRE LA SPINA DALLA
PRESA DI CORRENTE.
GLI INTERVENTI DI MANUTENZIONE DEVONO ESSERE SVOLTI DA
PERSONALE QUALIFICATO E ADDESTRATO, NEL PIENO RISPETTO
DELLE NORME DI SICUREZZA E SALUTE VIGENTI.
