with and on this wheel dolly. The owner and operator of this equipment shall have an understanding
ofthis wheeldolly andsafe operatingprocedures before attempting to use. The owner and operator
shall be aware that use and repair of this product may require special skills and knowledge.
Instructionsand safety information shall beconveyed in the operator's nativelanguage before use of
this wheel dolly is authorized. If any doubt exists as to the safe and proper use of this wheel dolly,
remove from service immediately. Inspect before each use. Do not use if broken, bent, cracked or
damagedparts are noted.Any wheel dolly that appearsdamaged in anyway, or operates abnor-
mally shall be removed from service immediately. If the wheel dolly has been or suspected to have
been subjected to a shock load (a load dropped suddenly, unexpectedly upon it), immediately
discontinue use until wheel dolly has been checked by anOmega authorized service center. It is
recommendedthat an annualinspection be doneby qualified personnel. Labels andOperator's
Manuals are available from manufacturer (see Replacement Parts on page 5).
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Omega Wheel Dolly is designed to facilitate the removal and installation of pneumatic tires and
wheel assemblies on trucks , buses and trailers. It is a labor saving device useful in auto shops, bus
barns and fleet service.

Read and understand all warnings and
instructional material provided on and with this
product. Do not exceed rated capacity.
Thoroughlyfamiliarizeyourselfwiththisproduct
before use. Use only on smooth hard, level
surfacescapable of sustaining theload. Before
moving, lower the load to the lowest possible
point and assure that the load is centered and
secured with the chain. Apply load as close to
the vertical position of the lifting member as
possible. No alterations shall be made to this
product.Failuretoheedthis warning may result
in severe, injury as well as property damage.

BEFORE USE
1. Inspect before each use. Do not use if bent,
broken, leaking or cracked components are
noted. Ensure that casters, rollers and lift arm
moves freely. Check and tighten any loose as-
semblies.
2. Verify that the product and the application are
compatible, if in doubt call Omega Technical
Service (888)332-6419.
3. Read, understand and follow vehicle
manufacturer’srecommended tire change
procedures.
4. With jack in fully lowered position, locate and
remove oil filler plug. This purges the hydraulic
system of pressurized air trapped in reservoir.
Check fluid level. Proper level is even with filler
plughole.
5. Reinstall oil filler plug.
HOW TO USE
1. Set emergency brake, chock tires of diago-
nallyopposedwheel(s)in both directions AND
take every precaution necessary to ensure
setupis stable and prevent inadvertent vehicle
movement.
2. When tire & wheel assembly are ready to
remove, position wheel dolly to accept tire &
wheel assembly and adjust the length of chain
providedto secure load.
ASSEMBLY
Refer to Figure 2
1. Attach leg assemblies (ref. no. 2) to main
frame(ref. no. 1) usingM12x1.75x70L &
M12x1.75x120Lbolts,M12x1.75nuts&
M12x3t washers (ref. nos. 3, 15, 4 & 5).
2. Install caps (ref. no. 17) to cover the holes on
the main frame (ref. no. 1).
3.Loosenall four of the M12x1.75x70Lbolts(ref.
no.8) and tightenthe M10x1.5x60L bolts(ref.
no.11) toexpand the roller insert hole.
Note: Do not overtighten the bolts (ref. no. 11).
Adjustbolt’s tightness until it is expanded
enoughfor acceptingthe roller (ref. no. 6).
4. Slide roller (ref. no. 6) into the roller insert hole
on frame (ref. no. 7) until it is aligned with the
edgeofthehole.
5.Loosen the M10x1.5x60Lbolts (ref. no.11)
andtightenallthe M12x1.75x70L bolts (ref.
no. 8) to secure the roller onto the frame.
6. Attach the frame (ref. no 7) to main frame (ref.
no. 1) using the pin, c-clip and roller. (ref. no.
12, 13 & 14).
7. Install hydraulic unit (ref. no. 18) in between
the frame and main frame (ref. no. 7 & 1).
8. Attach hooks (ref. no. 21) to chain (ref. no. 20).
9.Attachone end ofhook(ref. no. 21)through
angleframe hole andattach another hookto
the other hole.

TROUBLESHOOTING
3. Use jack handle to turn release valve clock-
wise until tight. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. In-
sert jack handle into handle sleeve of bottle
jackandpumpuntil lifting arm reaches desired
height.
Note: Donot usewheel dolly to free a seized up
wheel assembly. For typical practice of taking
outa seized up wheel assembly,a long metal
bar can be used to pry the wheel assembly
from the stuck wheel axle. If in doubt, always
followvehicle’s manufacturer manualon how
to remove tire & wheel assembly.
4. Use load leveler to prepare dolly for moving.
Carefully move loaded wheel dolly away from
hub.
5.To install, reverse order.
MAINTENANCE
Periodically check jack fluid level. Level of fluid
should be even with filler plug hole. Use Mobil
DTE13Morequivalent.
Note:Neverfilljackwithalchohol,glycerin,brake
fluid, transmission fluid. Damage to jack’s load
bearingcapabilities can resultif other thengood
grade hydraulic jack fluid in used.
