The output transistor will be OFF for a maximum of 210 µs, as shown in the following table, in order to perform output circuit self-diagno-

sis when the Light Curtain is receiving light.

The width and number of OFF signals are determined by the number of Light Curtains connected in series. (See the table below.)

Check the input response time of a machine connected to the F3S-AjP carefully to ensure the machine will not malfunction due to the

OFF signal.
