Quick Start Guide

The WSP406 ZigBee In-wall Smart Plug allows you to remotely control your
home appliances and set schedules to automate via mobile phone. It also
helps users to monitor the energy consumption remotely.
This guide will provide you with an overview of the product and help you get
through the initial setup.

Warning!
• The in-wall smart plug must be installed and serviced only by qualified
electrical person.
• Do not touch the terminals of the device during the testing.
• Turn off all power supplying this equipment before installing.
• Make sure that the power supply is off before connecting or disconnecting it
to the auxiliary device.
• Always use a properly rated voltage sensing device to confirm power is off.
• Replace all devices, doors and covers before turning on power to this
equipment.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.
LED status What it means
LED Flashing three times
The device has returned to default factory
setting or the pairing mode has been
turned on.
LED solid on The device has joined the ZigBee network.
LED ashing slowly The device has not joined a network or it
is in pairing mode.
Green LED Device is on.
Red LED Device is off.
LED indicator
The LED status gives the following information of the smart plug:
Buttons Introduction
Pairing mode: Press the reset button for 3 seconds (LED will ash 3 times) ,
then it will turn on the pairing mode, LED will keep ashing for 1 minute (that
means there has 1 minute to pairing).
Default factory setting: Press the on/off button for 10 seconds (LED will
ash 3 times respectively at third second and tenth second ).

3.1 To get started, you will need:
A SEG-X3 Gateway.
The mobile app.
Smart plug.
3.2 Installation
The in-wall smart plug must be installed by qualified electrical person, keep
the wiring diagram below for future reference. Cut off all power supplying this
equipment before installing.

3.3 Connect to the gateway’s network
1. Power on the smart plug and the LED indicator will start ashing (reset it
if not).
2. Click "Add new devices" on your app. Remind: you can press the "Z" button
for 2 seconds until LED turn solid blue.
3. The In-wall smart plug will join the gateway automatically and the LED
indicator
will turn steady when successfully joined. Check the status on your app.
4. Now you can find the In-wall smart plug in the mobile app.
Note: Please make sure the max. load current of all the connected appliances
is no more than 10A.
4FAQ
Q 1. How to pairing WSP406 in-wall smart plug and SLC602 remote switch?
1. Make sure that the in-wall smart plug and remote switch have joined in the
same gateway.
2. Press the reset button of in-wall smart plug for 3 second until LED ash 3
times then release.
when the smart plug enter pairing mode, LED will start ashing.
3. Press the reset button of remote switch for 3 seconds until LED ash 3 times
then release to enter pairing mode.
4. Waiting the in-wall smart plug and remote switch pair automatically, when
the two devices are bonding successfully, LED of in-wall smart plug will turn
solid on, LED of remote switch will ash green light 3 times and then light off.
Now you can use the remote switch to control the in-wall smart plug.
Remind: The operating steps are same as above when WSP406 in-wall smart
plug are pairing with SLC603 dimmer switch, RC204 remote control, RC206
remote control.

Q 2. How to clear the accumulative power consumption of the in-wall smart
plug?
Way 1：Login the relative gateway on your app, enter the edit mode (IOS:
Slid left the corresponding equip bar. Android: click the edit button ), then
click the clear accumulative power consumption button(arrow icon).
Way 2：Reset the in-wall smart plug to factory default setting. Note: This
way will lead the device lost connection of internet, you need to reconnect
the gateway internet to use it.
