DE INSTRUCTION
Kondensationswächter für HPM - Regler
Der Kondensationswächter PAW-DEWPOINTSENSOR erkennt konden-
sierendes Wasser an Rohren oder anderen Oberächen. Der Wächter
darf nur mit dem HPM Reglern verwendet werden.

Funktion
Der PAW-DEWPOINTSENSOR ist mit einem analogen Eingang des HPM
zu verbinden und die verwendete Klemmen muss dem Regelprogramm
(Heizkreis) zugewiesen werden (Heizkreis x / Service / Klemmenzuwei-
sung / Kondensation).
Der Kondensationswächter ist an der unteren Seite von der Oberäche
anzubringen, die überwacht werden soll (siehe Abbildung 1).
Der Wächter verfügt über zwei getrennte Kupfer-Streifen. Wenn ein
Tropfen des Kondenswassers mit den Streifen in Kontakt kommt, werden
diese kurzgeschlossen und ein Meldesignal an den Regler geschickt, um
den Kühlbetrieb des Heizkreises zu stoppen.

Condensation detector for HPM controllers
PAW-DEWPOINTSENSOR is a sensor which detects condensing
water on pipes or other surfaces. The sensor is only used by HPM.
Technical data

Function
Connect PAW-DEWPOINTSENSOR to HPM at the analogue input
terminals. This requires that you dene in the settings at which termi-
nal the sensor has been connected. This must be done in the heating
circuit menu/service/terminal ass./condensation.
Then attach the detector element at the downside to the surface you
wish to monitor, see gure 1.
The detector has two separated copper strips. When a drop of con-
densation comes in contact with the strips, they are short circuited
and a digital signal is sent to the controller to stop the cooling mode of
the heat circuit.

HPM
El sensor PAW-DEWPOINTSENSOR detecta el agua de conden-
sación en caños y otras supercies. Este sensor es utilizado sólo por
HPM.

Funcionamiento
Conectar PAW-DEWPOINTSENSOR a HPM en los terminales de en-
trada analógicos. En la conguración hay que seleccionar el terminal
al cual se ha conectado el sensor. Esto se hace en el menú Circuito
calefacción/servicio/assig.terminal/condensación.
Conectar el elemento detector al lado inferior de la supercie que se
desee monitorizar, ver la gura 1.
El detector tiene dos bandas de cobre separadas. Cuando una gota
de condensado entra en contacto con las bandas, se produce un cor-
tocircuito y se envía una señal digital al controlador para desactivar el
modo refrigeración del circuito de calentamiento.

Rilevatore di condensa per regolatori HPM
PAW-DEWPOINTSENSOR è un sensore che rileva l’acqua di condensa
sui tubi o su altre superci. Il sensore viene usato esclusivamente
dall’HPM.

Funzionamento
Collegare PAW-DEWPOINTSENSOR all’HPM in corrispondenza dei mor-
setti di ingresso analogico. A questo scopo, è necessario specicare nelle
impostazioni a quale morsetto è stato collegato il sensore. È possibile ef-
fettuare questa operazione nel menu Circuito riscaldare/assisten./assegn.
morsetto/condensazione.
Applicare quindi l’elemento rilevatore al rovescio alla supercie che si
desidera monitorare; vedere gura 1.
Il rilevatore è dotato di due piastrine di rame separate. Quando una goc-
cia di condensa viene a contatto con le piastrine, queste ultime vengono
cortocircuitate, mentre viene trasmesso un segnale digitale al regolatore
per arrestare la modalità di raffreddamento del circuito di riscaldamento.

Détecteur de condensation pour régulateur
HPM
PAW-DEWPOINTSENSOR est une sonde qui détecte l’eau conden-
sée sur les tuyaux ou sur d’autres surfaces. Elle est prévue pour être
utilisée avec le régulateur HPM uniquement.

Fonctionnement
Raccordez la sonde PAW-DEWPOINTSENSOR à une borne d’entrée
analogique du régulateur HPM. Dans le menu Boucle de chauffage
- Service - Aff. borne - Condensation du régulateur, indiquez à quelle
borne la sonde est raccordée.
Ensuite, posez le circuit imprimé sous la surface à surveiller (voir la
gure 1).
Le détecteur est composé de deux bandes de cuivre. Lorsqu’une
goutte de condensation entre en contact avec les bandes, elles sont
court-circuitées. Un signal numérique est envoyé au régulateur, qui
suspend le mode de refroidissement de la boucle de chauffage.
