erät und sind überzeugt, dass es Ihnen viele Jahre gute Dienste leisten wird.
Bitte lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme des
erätes zur änze aufmerksam durch, um sich mit der richtigen Bedienung des
erätes vertraut zu machen und Fehlbedienungen zu verhindern. Befolgen Sie
insbesondere alle Sicherheitshinweise. Eine Nichtbeachtung kann zu Schäden
am erät, und zu gesundheitlichen Schäden führen.
Verwahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig um später nachschlagen,
oder sie mit dem erät weitegergeben zu können.

3. Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Um eine sichere Benutzung des erätes zu gewährleisten, befolgen Sie bitte
alle Sicherheits- und Bedienungshinweise in dieser Anleitung.
-Stellen Sie vor der Verwendung sicher, dass Prüfkabel und erät
unbeschädigt sind und einwandfrei funktionieren. (z.B. an bekannten
Spannungsquellen).
-Das erät darf nicht mehr benutzt werden, wenn das ehäuse oder die
Prüfkabel beschädigt sind, wenn eine oder mehrere Funktionen ausfallen,
wenn keine Funktion angezeigt wird oder wenn Sie vermuten, dass etwas
nicht in Ordnung ist.
-Wenn die Sicherheit des Anwenders nicht garantiert werden kann, muss
das erät außer Betrieb genommen und gegen Verwendung geschützt
werden.
-Beim Benutzen dieses eräts dürfen die Prüfkabel nur an den riffen
hinter dem Fingerschutz berührt werden – die Prüfspitzen nicht berühren.
-Erden Sie sich niemals beim Durchführen von elektrischen Messungen.
Berühren Sie keine freiliegenden Metallrohre, Armaturen usw., die ein
Erdpotential besitzen könnten. Erhalten Sie die Isolierung Ihres Körpers

durch trockene Kleidung, ummischuhe, ummimatten oder andere
geprüfte Isoliermaterialien.
-Stellen Sie das erät so auf, dass das Betätigen von Trenneinrichtungen
zum Netz nicht erschwert wird.
-Legen Sie niemals Spannungen oder Ströme an das Messgerät an, welche
die am erät angegebenen Maximalwerte überschreiten.
-Verwenden Sie das erät nicht im Freien, in feuchter Umgebung oder in
Umgebungen, die starken Temperaturschwankungen ausgesetzt sind.
-Lagern Sie das erät nicht in direkter Sonnenbestrahlung.
-Wenn das erät modifiziert oder verändert wird, ist die Betriebssicherheit
nicht länger gewährleistet. Zudem erlöschen sämtliche arantie- und

4. Erläuterungen der Symbole am Gerät

efahr! Beachten Sie die Hinweise der Bedienungsanleitung!

Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht in den
normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden, sondern muss an
einer Sammelstelle für das Recycling von elektrischen und
elektronischen eräten abgegeben werden.
CAT I Das erät ist für Messungen an Stromkreisen, die nicht direkt
mit dem Netz verbunden sind, vorgesehen. Beispiele sind

Messungen an Stromkreisen, die nicht vom Netz abgeleitet sind
und besonders geschützten Stromkreisen, die vom Netz
abgeleitet sind.
CAT II Das erät ist für Messungen an Stromkreisen, die elektrisch
direkt mit dem Niederspannungsnetz verbunden sind,
vorgesehen, z.B. Messungen an Haushaltsgeräten, tragbaren
Werkzeugen und ähnlichen eräten.
CAT III Das erät ist für Messungen in der ebäudeinstallation
vorgesehen. Beispiele sind Messungen an Verteilern,
Leistungsschaltern, der Verkabelung, Schaltern, Steckdosen der
festen Installation, eräten für industriellen Einsatz sowie an
fest installierten Motoren.
CAT IV Das erät ist für Messungen an der Quelle der
Niederspannungsinstallation vorgesehen. Beispiele sind Zähler
und Messungen an primären Überstromschutzeinrichtungen
und Rundsteuergeräten.

7. Bedienung
Hinweis: Bei der Messung von leichspannungen bezieht sich die
Polarität der angezeigten Spannung auf die Prüfspitze des erät (+ Pol).
Aus technischen ründen schaltet sich das erät bei Spannungen unter
3V nicht automatisch ein

1. Berühren Sie mit der schwarzen Prüfspitze die negative Seite und mit der
roten Prüfspitze die positive Seite des Schaltkreises.

2. Der Messwert wird durch aufleuchtende LED‘s angezeigt.
Gleichspannungsmessung / Wechselspannungsmessung mit
reduzierter Impedanz
(nur PAN Volttester 400 FI)
Zur Spannungsprüfung mit reduzierter Impedanz drücken Sie während der
Messung die Prüftaste. Dadurch wird die Impedanz auf ca. 7,7 k reduziert,
wodurch induktive und kapazitive Streuspannungen unterdrückt werden. Mit
dieser Funktion können Sie zwischen „echten“ Spannungen und
Streuspannungen unterscheiden.
Prü ung eines Fehlerstrom Schutzschalters.
(nur PAN Volttester 400 FI)
1. Berühren Sie mit einer Prüfspitze den Phasenleiter und mit der anderen
Prüfspitze den Erdleiter.
2. Der Messwert wird durch aufleuchtende LED‘s angezeigt.
3. Drücken Sie gleichzeitig die beiden Prüftasten in der Mitte des
Spannungsprüfers und an der Prüfspitze. Dadurch erhöht sich die
Stromaufnahme des Spannungsprüfers bei 230 V auf ca. 30 mA.
4. Sofern der geprüfte Stromkreis mit einem 30 mA FI – Schutzschalter
abgesichert ist, sollte dieser abschalten. Falls der FI – Schalter nicht
abschaltet, ist entweder der FI – Schalter defekt oder der
Erdungsanschluss der Steckdose nicht in Ordnung.

8. Instandhaltung
Reparaturen an diesem erät dürfen nur von qualifizierten Fachleuten
ausgeführt werden.
Reinigung
Bei Verschmutzung reinigen Sie das erät mit einem feuchten Tuch und etwas
Haushaltsreiniger. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Flüssigkeit in das erät dringt!
Keine aggresiven Reinigungs- oder Lösungsmittel verwenden!
9. Gewährleistung und Ersatzteile
Für dieses erät gilt die gesetzliche ewährleistung von 2 Jahren ab
Kaufdatum (lt. Kaufbeleg). Reparaturen an diesem erät dürfen nur durch
entsprechend geschultes Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden. Bei Bedarf
an Ersatzteilen sowie bei Fragen oder Problemen wenden Sie sich bitte an
Ihren Fachhändler oder an:

Please read this operating manual carefully before using the device to become
familiar with the proper handling of the device and to prevent faulty
operations. Please follow all the safety instructions. Nonobservance cannot
only result in damages to the device but in the worst case can also be harmful
to health.

2. Scope of elivery

3. Safety Instructions
To ensure the safe use of the device, please follow all the safety and operating
instructions given in this manual.
-Before using the device, make sure that test leads and the device are in
good condition and the device is working properly (e.g. by connecting to
known voltage sources).
-The device may not be used if the housing or the test leads are damaged,
if one or more functions are not working, if functions are not displayed, or
if you suspect that something is wrong.
-If the safety of the user cannot be guaranteed, the device may not be
operated and secured against use.
-While using this device, hold the test leads only behind the finger guards -
do not touch the probes.
-Never ground yourself while making electrical measurements. Do not
touch any exposed metal pipes, fittings etc., which could have a ground
potential. Ensure that your body is isolated by using dry clothes, rubber
shoes, rubber mats or other approved insulation materials.
-Operate the device in a way that it is not difficult to operate the network

separators.
-Never connect the device to voltage or current sources that exceed the
specified maximum values.
-Do not use the device outdoors, in humid surroundings or in
environments that are subjected to extreme temperature fluctuations.
-Do not store the device in places which are exposed to direct sunlight.
-If changes or modifications are made to the device, the operational safety
is no longer guaranteed and the warranty becomes void.

7. Operating Instructions
Note: At DC voltage measurements the positive pole corresponds to the
positive pole of the instrument. The instrument automatically switches on
if the voltage to be tested is higher than 3 V.

1. Connect the black test prod to the negative pole and the red test prod to
the positive pole of the circuit to be tested.
2. The measured value is indicated by flashing LED's.
DC Voltage measurement / AC Voltage measurement with

For the voltage test with reduced impedance press the test button during the
measurement. The impedance of about 7.7 k is reduced, whereby inductive
and capacitive stray voltages are suppressed. With this function you can
choose between "real" difference voltages and stray voltages.

1. Touch probe with the outer conductor and the other probe to the ground
wire.
2. The measured value is indicated by flashing LED's.
3. Press simultaneously both test buttons in the middle of the voltage tester
and on the probe. This increases the power consumption of the voltage
tester at 230 V to 30 mA.

4. If the tested circuit is protected by a 30 mA RCD-breaker the circuit should
be switched off. If the If the RCD does not switch off, the switch is either
defective or the third prong (ground) of the plug is not in order.
8. Maintenance
Only authorized service technicians may repair the instrument.
Cleaning
If the instrument is dirty after daily usage, it is advised to clean it by using a
humid cloth and a mild household detergent. Prior to cleaning, ensure that
instrument is switched off and disconnected from external voltage supply and
any other instruments connected. Never use acid detergents or dissolvent for
cleaning.
9. Guarantee an Spare Parts
PANCONTROL instruments are subject to strict quality control. However,
should the instrument function improperly during daily use, your are
protected by a 24 months warranty from the date of purchase (valid only
with invoice).
