ATTACHMENT TO A CEILING

The heater should be assembled to a concrete ceiling. The supplied mounting parts are not
suitable for other surfaces.
1. Drill a hole with a diameter of 8 mm in the ceiling.
2. Push the self tapping hook screw in the drilled hole.
3. Tighten the hook firmly.
4. Hang the heater with the chain to the screw. Ensure that the distance between ceiling and
the heater is at least 30 cm. The height between the floor and the heater must be at least
1.80 m.
5. Route the power cable alongside the chain to the socket. The power cable must be
attached to the chain with a pull strap, but make sure it does not make contact with the
first three links of the chain. The power cable must under no circumstances touch the
heater. The heater should not be hung up by the power line.
ATTACHMENT TO A GAZEBO
Make sure the frame of the tent in which the heater is suspended, is sufficiently strong to
support the weight of the heater.
1. Hook the chain to the heater.
2. Wind the chain several times around the frame and attach the other end, just like the first,
also to the heater. Make sure that the distance between the point of suspension and the
heater is at least 30 cm. The height between the floor and the heater must be at least 1.80
m.
3. Make sure the heater hangs securely.

TURNING THE HEATER ON AND OFF
•Insert the plug into a socket.
•Please turn on the switch on heater first.
•Please point the remote controller directly to sensor window on your heater. Please press ON/OFF on
the remote controller to use the heater. To adjust power, please press HIGH, MED or LOW for desired
heat.
•To turn off the heater, press ON/OFF button again on the remote controller. For a long period of
inactivity, please turn off the switch on heater, and pull the plug off.
•After using the heater, it always must be turned off with the button, the cord or the remote control
and the power plug must be pulled out of the socket.
•Allow the heater to cool completely before moving and storage.
•Never use the heater when there are bad weather conditions like rain, snow, hail, or a thunderstorm.
•Pay attention that, no combustible material due to wind or other environmental influences covers or
obstructs the appliance, such as curtains, marquees, flags, plastic foil etc.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•In an environment with salty air such as at the seaside, corrosion occurs earlier than usual. Check the
heater regularly on corroding parts and have those parts repaired immediately.
•Always turn off the circuit breaker and let the unit cool completely before maintenance.
•To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may use a mild
detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth.
•Do not use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the heater.
This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the heater.
•Although this heater is outdoor approved (balconies and patios), do not immerse the heater in water
for your safety. Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.

OPHANGEN AAN EEN PLAFOND

De plafondverwarming moet aan een betonnen plafond gehangen worden. De bijgeleverde
bevestigingsonderdelen zijn niet geschikt voor andere oppervlakken.
1. Boor een gat met een diameter van 8 mm in het plafond.
2. Duw de zelftappende haakschroef in het geboorde gat.
3. Draai de haak stevig aan.
4. Hang de verwarming met de ketting aan de haak. Zorg dat er minimaal 30 cm afstand is
tussen het plafond en de verwarming. De hoogte tussen de vloer en de verwarming moet
minimaal 1,80 m zijn.
5. Leid het netsnoer langs de ketting naar het stopcontact. Het netsnoer moet met een
trekbandje aan de ketting bevestigd worden, maar u moet erop toezien dat het in geen
geval contact maakt met de eerste drie schakels van de ketting. Ook mag het netsnoer in
geen geval met het verwarmingselement in aanraking komen. De verwarming mag niet
aan het netsnoer worden opgehangen.
OPHANGEN IN EEN TUINPAVILJOEN
Zorg ervoor dat het frame van de tent waarin de verwarming wordt opgehangen, sterk genoeg
is om het gewicht van de verwarming te dragen.
1. Haak de ketting aan de verwarming.
2. Wikkel de ketting verscheidene malen om het frame en bevestig het andere uiteinde op
dezelfde manier als het eerste eveneens aan de verwarming. Zorg ervoor dat de afstand
tussen het ophangpunt en de verwarming minimaal 30 cm is. De hoogte tussen de vloer
en de verwarming moet minimaal 1,80 m zijn.
3. Zorg ervoor dat de verwarming stevig aan het frame hangt.

DE VERWARMING AAN- EN UITZETTEN
•Steek de stekker in een stopcontact.
•Zet de verwarming aan met de schakelaar op het toestel.
•Richt de afstandsbediening recht op het sensorvenster op uw verwarming. Druk op de Aan/Uit-knop
op de afstandsbediening om de verwarming aan te zetten. Voor het regelen van het vermogen kunt
op de knoppen HIGH, MED of LOW drukken om de gewenste warmte in te stellen.
•Als u de verwarming wil afzetten, druk dan opnieuw op de Aan/Uit-knop op de afstandsbediening.
Als de verwarming gedurende langere tijd niet gebruikt wordt, zet hem dan uit met de Aan/Uit-
knop op de afstandsbediening en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
•Na gebruik moet de verwarming altijd worden afgezet met de schakelaar op het toestel, het
netsnoer of the Aan/Uitknop op de afstandsbediening, en de stekker moet altijd uit het stopcontact
getrokken worden.
•Laat de verwarming volledig afkoelen alvorens hem te vervoeren en op te slaan.
•Gebruik de verwarming nooit in slechte weersomstandigheden zoals regen, sneeuw, hagel of
onweer.
•Zie erop toe dat de verwarming niet wordt bedekt of belemmerd door brandbaar material zoals
gordijnen, tentdoek, vlaggen, plasticfolie, enz., tengevolge van wind of andere omgevingsfactoren.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
•In een omgeving met zilte lucht, zoals bijvoorbeeld aan zee, treedt corrosie eerder op dan normal.
Controleer de verwarming regelmatig op corroderende onderdelen en laat die onderdelen
onmiddellijk vervangen.
•Schakel altijd de stroomonderbreker uit en laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen voordat u onderhoud
uitvoert.
•Om de verwarming schoon te houden, kunt u de buitenkant schoonmaken met een zachte, vochtige
doek. Indien nodig kunt u een mild reinigingsmiddel gebruiken. Droog het toestel na het
schoonmaken af met een zachte doek.
•Gebruik geen alcohol, benzine, schuurmiddelen, boenwas of harde borstels om de verwarming te
reinigen. Dit kan schade of aantasting van het oppervlak van de verwarming tot gevolg hebben.
•Hoewel deze verwarming is goedgekeurd voor gebruik buitenshuis (balkons en patio's), mag u hem
voor uw eigen veiligheid niet onderdompelen in water. Wacht tot het verwarmingstoestel volledig
droog is alvorens het te gebruiken.

FIXATION A UN PLAFOND

Le radiateur doit être monté sur un plafond en béton. Les pièces de montage fournies ne sont
pas adaptées à d'autres surfaces.
1. Percez un trou d'un diamètre de 8 mm dans le plafond.
2. Poussez la vis à crochet autotaraudeuse dans le trou percé.
3. Serrez fermement le crochet.
4. Suspendez le radiateur à la vis à l'aide de la chaîne. Veillez à ce que la distance entre le
plafond et le radiateur soit d'au moins 30 cm. La hauteur entre le sol et le radiateur doit
être d'au moins 1,80 m.
5. Faites passer le câble d'alimentation le long de la chaîne jusqu'à la prise. Le câble
d'alimentation doit être fixé à la chaîne à l'aide d'une sangle, mais veillez à ce qu'il n'entre
pas en contact avec les trois premiers maillons de la chaîne. Le câble d'alimentation ne
doit en aucun cas toucher le poêle. Le poêle ne doit pas être suspendu par le câble
électrique.
FIXATION A UN GAZEBO
Assurez-vous que l'armature de la tente dans laquelle le chauffage est suspendu, est
suffisamment solide pour supporter le poids du chauffage.
1. Accrochez la chaîne à l'appareil de chauffage.
2. Enroulez la chaîne plusieurs fois autour du cadre et attachez l'autre extrémité, comme la
première, également à l'appareil de chauffage. Veillez à ce que la distance entre le point de
suspension et le poêle soit d'au moins 30 cm. La hauteur entre le sol et le poêle doit être
d'au moins 1,80 m.
3. Assurez-vous que le poêle soit bien suspendu.

ALLUMER ET ÉTEINDRE LE POÊLE
•Insérez la fiche dans une prise de courant.
•Allumez d'abord l'interrupteur du radiateur.
•Dirigez la télécommande directement vers la fenêtre du capteur de votre appareil. Appuyez sur la
touche ON/OFF de la télécommande pour utiliser le radiateur. Pour régler la puissance, appuyez sur
HIGH, MED ou LOW pour obtenir la chaleur souhaitée.
•Pour éteindre le chauffage, appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton ON/OFF de la télécommande. En cas
de longue période d'inactivité, éteignez l'appareil et débranchez-le.
•Après avoir utilisé le radiateur, il faut toujours l'éteindre à l'aide du bouton, du cordon ou de la
télécommande et retirer la fiche de la prise.
•Laissez le radiateur refroidir complètement avant de le déplacer ou de le ranger.
•N'utilisez jamais l'appareil lorsque les conditions météorologiques sont mauvaises (pluie, neige, grêle,
orage).
•Veillez à ce qu'aucun matériau combustible dû au vent ou à d'autres influences environnementales
ne recouvre ou n'obstrue l'appareil, comme des rideaux, des chapiteaux, des drapeaux, des feuilles
de plastique, etc.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
•Dans un environnement où l'air est salé, comme au bord de la mer, la corrosion se produit plus tôt
que d'habitude. Contrôlez régulièrement les pièces corrodées de l'appareil et faites réparer ces pièces
immédiatement.
•Avant tout entretien, coupez toujours le disjoncteur et laissez l'appareil refroidir complètement.
•Pour garder l'appareil propre, l'enveloppe extérieure peut être nettoyée avec un chiffon doux et
humide. Vous pouvez utiliser un détergent doux si nécessaire. Après le nettoyage, séchez l'appareil
avec un chiffon doux.
•N'utilisez pas d'alcool, d'essence, de poudres abrasives, de cire pour meubles ou de brosses rugueuses
pour nettoyer l'appareil. Cela pourrait endommager ou détériorer la surface de l'appareil.
•Bien que ce radiateur soit approuvé pour l'extérieur (balcons et patios), ne l'immergez pas dans l'eau
pour votre sécurité. Attendez que l'appareil soit complètement sec avant de l'utiliser.
