Step1:PositiontheSpectrometerlookingatthebacksurfaceasshownbelow.
Notethelocationofthe(4)T‐8Screws







Step2:Unscrewthe(4)T‐8ScrewswithaT‐8Screwdriver.WhileholdingtheSpectrometer
plastichalvestogether,turntheSpectrometeroverandletthe(4)screwsfallout.Set
theSpectrometerdownonaflatsurface.Putthescrewsoffthesideandliftoffthe
topcover.



Step3:Rotatethebottomhalfasshown.







Step4a:UnplugthebatteryconnectorandremovethePhillipsScrew.

Step4b:LiftthePrintedCircuitBoardAssemblybytheplasticcenterandsetapart.









Step5:Removetheoldbatteryandaddthenewreplacementbatteryatthelocationshown
inthepictureabove.Replacetheprintedcircuitboardabovethebatteryandplugthebattery
intoitsmatingconnector.SecurethePhillipsScrewinplace.

Step6:LocatethetopcoverandwhileholdingtheSpectrometerplastichalvestogether,turn
theSpectrometeroverandsecurethe(4)mountingscrewsinplacewiththeT‐8driver.



