MANUALE DI INSTALLAZIONE
UNICOM EVO JVC è un modulo adaatore UNIVERSALE per comandi autoradio a volante OEM, la sua compabilità si estende ad un vasto numero di veure
con protocollo resisvo ed alle autoradio JVC dotate di ingresso remote lare. Il soscato microprocessore è in grado di apprendere il protocollo dei coman-
di a volante OEM. E’ possibile assegnare ad ogni tasto una delle funzioni geste dall’autoradio ed elencate successivamente.
INSTALLAZIONE
Il modulo è fornito di un cablaggio mulpolare, questa congurazione permee l’adaabilità del prodoo a tue le versioni di comandi a volante OEM
conosciute. A seconda dei modelli di veura si collegheranno un certo numero di cavi. Nella sezione CONNESSIONI sono descrie le dieren possibilità di
installazione. Gli schemi cita nell’allegato CONNESSIONI, sono relavi al PINOUT di numerose veure tra cui Alfa Romeo, Chevrolet, Fiat, Ford, Nissan, Kia,
Opel, Hyundai ecc. Per adaare UNICOM EVO JVC a veure non presen nelle CONNESSIONI è necessario avere informazioni precise sul po di cablaggio
presente in veura.

Per saltare una funzione premere il TASTO di UNICOM EVO JVC una volta.
E’ possibile gesre massimo 9 pulsan / leve.
Se fossero presen meno di 9 pulsan / leve sul volante è necessario forzare manualmente l’uscita dalla programmazione.
Tale procedura richiede solamente di premere l’ulmo pulsante / leva memorizzato no a che il LED non si accende GIALLO.
Conclusa la programmazione il LED rimarrà acceso VERDE.
La procedura di apprendimento è conclusa, inserire il JACK di UNICOM EVO JVC nell’ingresso apposito sul retro della radio.
Accendere l’autoradio, sintonizzare la radio ed ulizzare i comandi al volante della veura per gesrne le funzioni; qualora si evidenziassero delle anomalie,
eseguire il RESET e ripetere aentamente la PROCEDURA DI APPRENDIMENTO dall’inizio.
Per eseguire il RESET tenere premuto il pulsante di UNICOM EVO JVCno a che il LED non lampeggia ROSSO.

PROCEDURA DI APPRENDIMENTO
Esegui i collegamen accendere il quadro veura per dare alimentazione ad UNICOM EVO JVC, il LED emeerà un breve lampeggio ROSSO indicando la
memorizzazione della condizione NESSUN TASTO PREMUTO.
Ora bisogna assegnare le funzioni di controllo della radio aermarket ad ognuno dei pulsan / leve del comando al volante della veura.
L’assegnazione delle funzioni per ogni pulsante / leva segue la logica descria nella tabella soo.
La prima funzione associabile è VOLUME —.
Ad ogni pressione di un pulsante / leva del comando al volante, il LED di UNICOM EVO JVC emeerà un lampeggio breve ad indicare l’avvenuta memorizzazio-
ne della funzione.

FUNZIONI SPECIALI
Unicom EVO JVC, ore nuove funzionalità per l’apprendimento verso le radio resisve. Queste radio infa hanno bisogno in alcuni casi di
avere la pressione di almeno 0.5 secondi per memorizzare il valore resisvo.
Nel caso fosse necessario, è possibile impostare Unicom EVO JVC, in modo che ogni pressione di tasto duri 5 secondi così da essere sicuri
che la radio memorizza il valore.
Per fare ciò è suciente premere il pulsanno del modulo 5 volte, il LED confermerà la selezione lampeggiando alternavamente VERDE -
ROSSO.
Ad ogni pressione dei tas ora sarà prolungata per 5 secondi e in questo tempo il LED rimane acceso ARANCIO, dopo di che torna lampeg-
giante alternavamente VERDE - ROSSO pronto per una nuova pressione.
Terminata la programmazione verso la radio, per riprisnare il normale funzionamento, è suciente disalimentare il modulo e rialimentarlo.

GESTIONE TASTI TELEFONO
Il modulo UNICOM EVO JVC è in grado di gesre i tas telefono e il voice (per le radio che supportano la funzione).
Qualora il volante non avesse i tre tas disponibili ma solo un tasto, è possibile congurare il modulo in modo che gessca le tre funzionalità
con un tasto solo (sempre se supportate dalla radio).
Questa operazione è semplice in quanto bisogna solo apprendere la voce TEL sulla tabella radio allegata.
LIVELLI DI RESET
Cancellazione dell' apprendimento resisvo:
Per cancellare il solo apprendimento resisvo premere e tenere premuto il tasno no a quando il led
diventa rosso sso.
Rilasciare il tasno per iniziare una nuova procedura di apprendimento resisvo.
Questa operazione è possibile in qualunque momento (anche durante l' apprendimento stesso).
Cancellazione dell' apprendimento resisvo e del prolo radio:
Per cancellare sia l' apprendimento resisvo che il prolo radio contemporaneamente premere e tenere premuto
il tasno no a quando il led diventa ROSSO sso.
Connuare a tenere premuto il tasno no a quando il led diventa ARANCIO sso.
Rilasciare il tasno per iniziare una nuova procedura di apprendimento resisvo.
Questa operazione è possibile in qualunque momento (anche durante l' apprendimento stesso).
Cambio / selezione del prolo radio.
Con il LED acceso VERDE sso, premere rapidamente 3 volte il tasno.
Il prolo radio sarà cancellato ed il led inizierà a lampeggiare 1 volta verde
proponendo il primo prolo radio della lista prolo cliente.
Se non vogliamo ssare il prolo radio ci basta togliere alimentazione
altrimen seguire le procedure indicate in precedenza.

UNICOM EVO JVCis a UNIVERSAL adapter module for OEM steering wheel commands. It is compable with a wide range of vehicles with a resisve protocol
and with JVCautoradios equipped with a wired remote input. A self-learning procedure will make its installaon simple and quick. You would be able to assign
any funcon handled by the aermarket autoradio to each key buon on your steering wheel.
This module is equipped with a free wires harness, this conguraon allows to use the product with all versions of the most well known OEM steering wheel
commands. According to the vehicle models, a certain number of wires must be connected. The dierent possibilies of installaon are described in CON-
NECTION secon. The diagrams shown on the following pages concern the UNICOM EVO JVCconnecons with some vehicles such as: Alfa Romeo, Chevro-
let, Fiat, Ford, Nissan, Kia, Opel, Hyundai etc. In order to adapt UNICOM EVO JVCto other vehicles it is necessary to have correct informaon about the type
of cabling present in the vehicle.

To skip a funcon press the UNICOM EVO JVC BUTTON once.
It is possible to manage up to 9 buons/levers.
If less than 9 buons/levers are present on the steering wheel, it will be necessary to force the exit from the programming manually.
To carry out this procedure, you only need to press the last buon/lever of the steering wheel ll the UNICOM EVO JVC LED lights YELLOW.
When the programming is nished, the LED GREEN light will remain ON.
The learning procedure has been completed, insert the UNICOM EVO JVCJACK into the appropriate input on the back side of the radio.
Switch on the autoradio, tune in the radio and use your car steering wheel commands to handle the funcons; if any troubles are found, please make the
RESET and repeat very carefully the LEARNING PROCEDURE from the beginning.
To RESET the unit keep UNICOM EVO JVC buon pressed ll the LED starts blinking RED.

LEARNING PROCEDURE
Once the connecons are nished switch on the ignion to supply power to UNICOM EVO JVC, LED will ash one me RED quickly to indicate that the
NO BUTTON PRESSED state has been memorized.
Now you must assign to each funcons of your the aermarket radio an available buon/lever on your car steering wheel command.
Funcons assignment follows the sequenal logic described in the TABLE below .
The rst funcon available is VOLUME —.
Each me you press a buon on your steering wheel, the UNICOM EVO JVCLED will briey blink to indicate that the funcon has been correctly memorized

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
UNICOM EVO JVC oers new features for resisve learning car radios. In fact, these radios need, in some cases, to have a pressure me of at
least 0.5 seconds to memorize the resisve value.
If necessary, it is possible to set Unicom EVO JVC, so that each key press remains acve for 5 seconds, so as to be sure that the radio memo-
rizes the value.
To do this, simply press the module buon 5 mes, the LED will conrm the selecon by alternately ashing GREEN - RED.
Each me the keys are pressed, the output will last 5 seconds and during this me the LED remains on ORANGE, aer which it returns alter-
nately ashing GREEN - RED, ready for a new pressure.
Once programming to the radio has been completed, to restore normal operaon, simply disconnect the module and power it up again.

PHONE KEY MANAGEMENT
The UNICOM EVO JVC module is able to manage the telephone keys and the voice (for radios that support the funcon).
If the steering wheel does not have the three buons available but only one buon, it is possible to congure the module to manage the
three funcons with a single buon (always if supported by the radio).
This operaon is simple as it is only necessary to select the TEL item on the aached radio table.
RESET LEVELS
Cancellaon of resisve learning:
To cancel resisve learning only, press and hold the module buon unl the LED turns solid red
Release the buon to start a new resisve learning procedure
This operaon is possible at any me (even during the learning itself)
Deleon of resisve learning and radio prole:
To cancel both the resisve learning and the radio prole, press and hold simultaneously
the buon unl the LED turns solid red
Connue to hold down the pocket unl the LED becomes steady ORANGE
Release the buon to start a new resisve learning procedure
This operaon is possible at any me (even during the learning itself)
Change / select the radio prole
Quickly press the module buon 3 mes
The radio prole will be deleted and the LED will start ashing once green
proposing the rst radio prole of the customer prole list
If we do not want to x the radio prole we just need to remove the power supply
otherwise follow the procedures indicated above
