Loosenfour1/4-20 x 1/4" screws on each adapter bracket (BB,CC).Positionextension brackets, with slots
facing downward, onto adapter brackets (BB,CC) at the appropriate position to accommodate your screen as
shown in Figure 1.1. Securely tighten all 1/4-20 x 1/4" screws as shown in figure 1.2.
NOTE: In all bracket extension positions, stops and 1/4-20 x 1/4" screws must be engaged in slots as shown in
figure1.2.

Attaching Tilt Brackets to Screen using Baffled Fastener Pack
NOTE:Referto page4for adjustmentsoftopextensionbracket.
To prevent scratching the screen, set a cloth on a flat, level surface that will support the weight of the screen. Place
screenfacesidedown. Refertoscreenmanufacturers instructionsorcustomerservice,forremovingany knobs,base,
cover,orscrew(s)onthebackof thescreentopreparemounting.Theseneed toberemoved toallowtheadapter brack-
ets to be attached. Select the small, medium, large or extra large screws from the baffled fastener pack then attach tilt
bracketstoscreen followingfigure 2.3or 2.4.
NOTE: Be sure to attach tilt brackets with knobs facing outward as in figure 2.1.
NOTE:Topand bottommountingholes must be usedfor attachingbrackets. Middleholesshould also be usedwherethe
fastenersandscreens allow.Verify thatallholes areproperly aligned,andthen tightenscrews usingaphillipsscrewdriver.
NOTES:
• Always use multi-washers when attaching tilt brackets
(BB and CC) to your screen when using small, medium or
largescrews. No multi-washer isrequired for extra large
(M8)screws.
• Usethe corresponding hole in themulti-washer that
matches your screw size as shown in fig 2.2.
• Tightenscrews so adapter brackets arefirmlyattached. Do not tighten withexcessiveforce. Overtightening can
cause stress damage to screws, greatly reducing their holding power and possibly causing screw heads to become
detached. Tighten to 40 in. • lb (4.5 N.M.) maximum torque.
• If screws don't get three complete turns in the screen inserts or if screws bottom out and bracket is still not tightly
secured, damage may occur to screen or product may fail.

Begin with the shortest length screw, hand thread through multi-washer and adapter bracket into screen as shown
below. Screw must make at least three full turns into the mounting hole and fit snug into place. Do not over tighten.
If screw cannot make three full turns into the screen, select a longer length screw from the baffled fastener pack.
Repeatforremaining mounting holes, level brackets and tighten screws.
NOTE: Spacersmay not be used, depending upon the type of screen.

With tape measure, measure the outside to outside of the brackets on the back of your screen. If width of the tilt
brackets on back of the screen is over 18-1/2" shown in figure 3.1, using a 7/16" wrench, attach wing bracket (GG)
to center bracket using two 1/4" serrated flanged locknuts (FF) as shown in figure 3.2. If width of the brackets on
back of the screen is over 30-3/8", using a 7/16" wrench, attach second wing bracket (GG) to center bracket using
two 1/4" serrated flanged locknut (FF)as shownin figure 3.3.
CAUTION: If mounting to two studs on 16" centers, and using the three plate configuration, A STUD
MUST BE SKIPPED in the middle so distance between studs is 32".

Wall plate (AA) can be mounted to two studs that are 16" apart. Use a stud finder to locate the edges of the studs.
Useofanedge-to-edgestudfinderishighly recommended. Based on their edges, draw a vertical line down each
stud’s center. Place wall plate on wall as a template. The top mounting slots should be 2.5" above the desired
screen center as shown in figure 4.1. Level plate, and mark the center of the four mounting holes. Make sure that the
mounting holes are on the stud centerlines. Drill four 5/32" (4 mm) dia. holes 2-1/2" (65 mm) deep. Make sure that
the wall plate is level, secure it using four #14 x 2.5" wood screws (DD) as shown in figure 4.2.
NOTE: Wall plate may be mounted up to 4" (102 mm) off center as shown in figure 4.1.

Installation to Solid Concrete or Cinder Block
Make sure that wall plate (AA) is level, use it as a
templateto mark four mounting holes. The top
mountinghole should be 2.5" above the desired screen
center as shown in figure 4.1 on page 8. Drill four 1/4"
(6 mm) dia. holes to a minimum depth of 2.5" (64 mm).
Insert anchors (EE) in holes flush with wall as shown
(right).Placewall plate over anchors and secure with
#14 x 2.5" screws (DD). Level, then tighten all
fasteners.
NOTE: Six holes and six sets of fasteners are required
whenmounting the wall plate forequipment weighing
greaterthan 200 lbs.
• When installing Peerless wall mounts on cinder block, verify that you have a minimum of 1-3/8" of actual concrete
thickness in the hole to be used for the concrete anchors. Do not drill into mortar joints! Be sure to mount in a solid
part of the block, generally 1" minimum from the side of the block. Cinder block must meetASTM C-90 specifica-
tions. It is suggested that a standard electric drill on slow setting is used to drill the hole instead of a hammer drill to
avoid breaking out the back of the hole when entering a void or cavity.
• Concrete must be 2000 psi density minimum. Lighter density concrete may not hold concrete anchor.
• Makesurethatthe supporting surface will safely support the combined load of the equipment and all attached hard-
wareand components.

Mounting and Removing Flat Panel Screen
Adjust tension knobs shown in detail 2 to desired
tension,balancing your screen size and weight. The
tension knob, without changing the bracket tension,
can be pulled out, away from the bracket and turned
independentlyoftheknobpostforreadjustmentas
shown in Detail 3.
Push or pull from top or bottom of screen to adjust
tilt as shown in figure 6.1. The tilt can be adjusted to
amaximumof 15° forward or 5° backward.
NOTE: To lock the screen into the desired tilt
position, use locator hole to find tilt position hole.
Tighten IncreLok™ tilt locking screws on both tilt
brackets as shown in figure 6.1 and detail 2.

Fijación de los soportes inclinables a la pantalla usando los sujetadores
identificados y clasificados en las divisiones del empaque plástico
NOTA: Refiérase a la página 15 paravercómoajustarel soporte superior de extensión.
Para no rayar la pantalla, coloque un trapo sobre una superficie plana y nivelada que sostenga el peso de la
pantalla. Coloque la pantalla boca abajo. Refiérase a las instrucciones del fabricante de la pantalla o llame a
servicio al cliente, para quitar cualquier perilla, base, cubierta o tornillo de la parte posterior de la pantalla para
prepararlaparala instalación.Hay que quitar dichos artículos para que los soportes adaptadoresse puedan fijar.
Escoja los tornillos pequeños, medianos, grandes o extra grandes de los sujetadores identificados y clasificados
en las divisiones del empaque plástico y luego fije los soportes inclinables a la pantalla siguiendo la ilustración 2.3
o la 2.4.
NOTA: Asegúrese de que fija los soportes inclinables con las perillas hacia fuera, como se muestra en la
ilustración 2.1.
NOTA: Siempre se tienen que usar los agujeros superiores y los inferiores para la instalación. También se deben
usar los agujeros centrales en los casos en los que los sujetadores y las pantallas lo permitan. Verifique que todos
losagujerosesténdebidamente alineados y luego apriete los tornillos usando un destornillador phillips.
NOTAS:
•Use siempre las arandelas múltiples para fijar los
soporteinclinabels(BB yCC) a la pantalla cuando
use los tornillos pequeños, medianos o grandes.
No se necesita la arandela múltiple si usa los
tornillosextragrandes (M8).
•Utiliceel agujero correspondiente de la arandela
múltiple que sea del mismo tamaño del tornillo,
como se muestra en la ilustración 2.2.

• Apriete los tornillos de manera que los soportes adaptadores se fijen con firmeza. No los apriete con fuerza
excesiva.Apretar los tornillos en exceso puede causarles daño por forzarlos y puede disminuir
significativamente su fuerza de fijación y podría causar el desprendimiento de las cabezas de los tornillos.
Apriete los tornillos a un máximo de 40 pulg-lb (4.5 N•m) de par torsor.

los soportes de inclinación en la parte de atrás de la pantalla es más de las 18-1/2" mostradas en la ilustración 3.1,
useunallave para fijar un soporte mariposa (GG)al soporte central con dos contratuercas embridadas aserradas de
1/4" (FF), según se muestra en la ilustración 3.2. Si el ancho de los soportes de inclinación en la parte de atrás de
la pantalla es más de 30-3/8", use una llave para fijar un segundo soporte mariposa (GG) al soporte central con dos
contratuercas embridadas aserradas de 1/4" (FF), según se muestra en la ilustración 3.3.
ADVERTENCIA: Al montar a dos montantes separados por 16" con la configuración de tres placas, HAY

Instalación a dos montantes en pared de madera
NOTA: Para montar equipo que pese más de 200 lbs, se recomienda enfáticamente el uso de tres montantes.
Pase a la página 20.
La placa de pared (AA) se puede fijar a dos montantes que tengan 16" de separación. Use un detector de montantes
para localizar los bordes de los montantes. Es altamente recomendable el uso de un detector de montantes de
“borde a borde”. Basado en los bordes, trace una línea vertical en el centro de cada montante. Coloque la placa de
pared sobre la pared como modelo. Las ranuras superiores para montar deben estar 2.5" sobre lo que se quiere
como centro de la pantalla, según se muestra en la ilustración 4.1. Nivele la placa y marque el centro de los cuatro
hoyos para montar.Asegúrese de que los hoyos para montar estén sobre las líneas que marcan el centro del
montante. Taladre cuatro hoyos de 5/32" (4 mm) de diámetro Y 2-1/2" (65 mm) de profundidad.Asegúrese de que la
placa de pared esté nivelada, fíjela con cuatro tornillos de madera #14 x 2.5" (DD), según se muestra en la
ilustración 4.2.
NOTA: La placa de pared se puede montar hasta 4" (102 mm) fuera del centro según se muestra en la ilustración
4.1.
