
CARTRIDGE CHANGE PROCEDURE

LUG
1. Removal-Shut off water
supply. Open serviced faucet
to relieve pressure.
Turn cartridge to left
(clockwise) as far as possible,
approx. 1/4 turn.
2. Holding head firmly, pull
cartridge downward and out
of head.
3. Replacement-Align a
cartridge lug with head label.
Holding head firmly, press
cartridge fully up into head.
4. Turn cartridge to right
(counterclockwise) as far as
possible.
Turn water back on. Allow
filtered water to run three
minutes.
Note installation date in space
provided on cartridge.
5. START-UP
INFORMATION-Run
water through faucet for three
minutes to precoat and purge
cartridge of air. Turn on water.
Turn on power to equipment.
GUIDE FOR SEPARATE FAUCET INSTALLATION
If Separate Faucet Kit is used for your installation, follow the instructions provided with the kit.
If not, refer to the typical installation (shown on the right and the reverse side of this guide) to
assist in determining the parts and fittings required for your installation. Note that inlet and
outlet compression fittings accommodate 1/4" soft plastic tubing. For copper and hard plastic
tubing installations, use nuts with metal grippers.
