1. Introduction


2.1Installation

Whenconnectingtothepublicsupplynetwork,observethelocalregulations
Pipesaretobelaidinasandbedonstonyground.Thesandbedshould
surroundthepipe10cmonallsides
Wheninstallingthesprinkler,e.g.onastandpipe,makesurethatthesprinkler
headcaneasilybeturnedbyhand.


 

Flushthepipesproperbeforeinstallationofthesprinklers




3.Commissioning

Pipesmustalwaysbefilledslowly,thatmeansyoumustopenthegatevalvegradually,
underobservanceoftheassignedoperatingpressure.Despiteofathoroughlyflushingit
mayhappenthatthesprinklernozzlemayclog.Tocleanthenozzle,youmustunscrew
thenozzleandflushthesprinkler.(Usesocketwrench)

4.Adjustments

4.1Wateringarc(settingrange30‐360°)
Thearcofthepartcirclesprinklersisadjustedbypressingagainstthespringstopper,
whichwidensthespring.Aroughalignmentispossiblebeforeinstallation,thefine
adjustmentshouldbemadewiththesprinklerrunning

4.2Radiusrange
Theradiusrangeissetusingdifferentnozzlesandpressures.Forfurtherinformation
seedatasheet

4.3Jetdeflectorscrew(notavailableforallsprinklermodels)
Thejetdeflectorscrewisforadjustmentoftheirrigationnearthesprinkler.Ifthe
screwisturnedfurtherintothewaterjet,theprecipitationclosetoofthesprinkleris
increasedandtheradiuswillbereduced


5.Maintenance/Cleaning/Repair

Checkthesprinklerfunctionatregularintervals

Ifthesprinklerortheturningdevicegetsdirty,itshouldonlyberinsedwithclear
water.Donotuselubricantsorgrease,asthiswilldamagetheslidingdiscsinthe
sprinkler!!!

Removeandrepairdefectivepartsimmediatelyorreturnforrepair




6.Winterizing

Beforeshuttingdowntheirrigationsystemforwinter,drainthepipesystemandif
necessary,thepumpingstation.Leavedrainvalveopenuntilrestart.
Withthesprinklers,makesurethatthereisnowaterinthesprinkler.

Assurethatthereremainsnowaterinthesprinklers.



7.TroubleshootingandSolutions

Attention!!!
Beforecarryingoutthefollowingtask,itmustbeensuredthatthepiping
systemisdepressurised.

Iftheradiusofindividualsprinklersistooshort,dirtparticlesmaybepresentinthe
nozzleorinthesprinklerbody.Removeandcleanthesprinklernozzle.Ifnecessary,
thesprinklermustbedismantledtocleanthesprinklerbody.

Ifthesprinklerdoesnotturn,thereareusuallydirtparticlesinthenozzle.Unscrew
nozzleandclean!

Ifthesprinkleronlyturnsinonedirectionandthenstops,eithertheturningdevice
isblocked,orthepressureistoolow.Cleantheturningdevicewithcleanwateror
compressedair(onlyforpartcirclesprinklers).


