STEP 1 BATTERY ACTIVATION
The battery module is installed in your UltraLight Sonic
Bark Control unit. A removable protective film on the
contact side of the battery prevents activation of the unit.
Introduce your dog to the bark control unit as described in
the training manual before removing the protective film.
To remove the battery, insert a coin in the slot on top of the
battery module, push down slightly and turn counter-clockwise.
Flip battery to contact side. To remove the protective film, lift
the red tab and peel off the film.
To re-install battery, align the arrow on the battery module with the triangle
on the unit. Using a coin, push down and turn clockwise, until the arrow on
the battery module lines up with the "Lock" on the unit.
Battery life is dependent on the number of corrections your dog receives, but
on average the life should be 1 month.
STEP 2 TEST UNIT
Hold your finger over the speaker to muffle the sound
when testing the unit. Blow across the microphone.
The unit should emit a sharp sound. If you do not
hear a tone – check the battery and repeat the test. microphone speaker

STEP 3 SET MICROPHONE SENSITIVITY LEVEL
Locate the microphone High/Low switch on the side
of the unit. Begin with the setting in the low position.
If the unit does not emit a sound correction when the
dog barks, move the switch to the high setting.
STEP 4 ATTACH TO COLLAR
Note: Do not place unit on your dog without reading the
Training Manual.
Collar material thickness should be approximately
1/16", and no wider than 1". Slide the collar under all
four clips. Be sure the unit is placed in the center of the
collar, opposite of the buckle, and fits snuggly against
the middle of the dog’s throat. The microphone may
not activate properly if the unit is rotated to the side
or if the collar hangs too loosely. Remove any tags from the collar to avoid
triggering a false stimulation.

CAUTIONS: To prevent damage to the inner ear, do not place the unit next to
your ear, the ear of any other human, or your pet’s ear. Keep out of the reach of
children. Do not allow dog to chew on unit.Unit is not waterproof - do not immerse
in water. If unit gets wet, you may remove battery, shake out excess water, and let
unit dry before attempting to use again.
STEP 5 OBSERVE FIRST REACTION
Observe your dog's first reaction to the correction. As excited as your dog
may get, you must remain calm. Yelping or cowering is a normal response.
Your pet must clearly understand the reason for the stimulation in order
to change his behavior. Modifying your dog’s barking behavior may take
several days.
Each dog will need different lengths of time to learn to control their
nuisance barking.

ETAPE N°1 ACTIVATION DE LA PILE
La pile est située à l’intérieur de votre appareil ultra-léger
de contrôle sonore des aboiements. Un film de protection
détachable recouvrant la surface de contact de la pile
empêche l’activation de l’appareil. Présentez l’appareil
de contrôle des aboiements à votre chien en suivant les
instructions du manuel de dressage avant d’enlever ce film de
protection.
Pour retirer la pile, insérez une pièce de monnaie dans la fente située en haut
de l’emplacement de la pile, poussez légèrement vers le bas et tournez dans
le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.Tournez la pile de façon à faire
apparaître la surface de contact. Pour retirer le film de protection, enlevez la
languette rouge et détachez le film.
Pour replacer la pile, alignez la flèche dessinée sur la pile avec le triangle
dessiné sur l’appareil. Poussez vers le bas en vous aidant d’une pièce de
monnaie, et tournez dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce que la
flèche dessinée sur la pile soit alignée avec la ‘fermeture’ de l’appareil.
La durée de vie de la pile dépend du nombre de corrections que reçoit votre
chien, mais devrait être en moyenne d’un mois.

ETAPE N°2 TEST DE FONCTIONNEMENT
Couvrez le haut-parleur de votre doigt afin
d’assourdir les sons lors du test. Soufflez sur le
micro. L’appareil devrait produire un sifflement.
Si vous n’entendez rien, vérifiez la pile et
recommencez le test.
ETAPE N°3 RÉGLAGE DE LA SENSIBILITÉ
DU MICRO
Repérez le bouton Haut/Bas du micro sur le côté de l’appareil.
Commencez par le régler en position basse. Si l’appareil n’émet
aucune correction sonore lorsque le chien aboie, réglez le
bouton en position haute.
ETAPE N°4 ATTACHEZ L’APPAREIL A SON COLLIER
NB : ne placez pas l’appareil au cou de votre chien sans avoir
lu au préalable le manuel de dressage.
L’épaisseur du collier doit être d’environ 0,16 cm et sa
largeur ne doit pas dépasser 2,5 cm. Glissez le collier
dans les quatre attaches. Assurez-vous que l’appareil
se trouve bien au centre du collier, à l’opposé de la
boucle, et ne gêne en rien le chien, contre le cou

duquel il est placé. Le microphone peut ne pas s’activer correctement si
l’appareil pivote sur le côté ou si le collier est attaché de façon trop lâche.
Enlevez toute étiquette du collier afin d’éviter une fausse stimulation.
ETAPE N°5 OBSERVEZ SA PREMIÈRE RÉACTION
Observez la première réaction de votre chien à la correction. Tout excité qu’il
soit, vous devez garder votre calme. Il est normal qu’il jappe ou qu’il tremble
de peur.Votre animal doit clairement comprendre la raison de la stimulation
afin de changer de comportement.
Modifier le comportement de votre chien au niveau des aboiements peut
prendre plusieurs jours.
Chaque chien aura besoin de plus ou moins de temps pour apprendre à
contrôler ses aboiements.
ATTENTION : Afin d’éviter tout atteinte à l’oreille interne, ne placez pas
l’appareil près de votre oreille, celle de toute autre personne ou celle de votre
chien. Conservez-le hors de portée des enfants. Empêchez votre chien de mâchonner
l’appareil. Celui-ci n’étant pas étanche, ne l’immergez pas dans l’eau. S’il se
mouille, enlevez la pile, secouez l’appareil et faites-le sécher avant d’essayer de
l’utiliser à nouveau.

1. Schritt Aktivierung der Batterie
Das Batteriemodul ist bereits in Ihrem akustischen
Bell-Kontrollgerät UltraLight installiert. Eine abziehbare
Schutzfolie über den Kontakten der Batterie verhindert
die ungewollte Aktivierung des Geräts. Gewöhnen
Sie Ihren Hund an das Bell-Kontrollgerät so, wie im
Trainingshandbuch beschrieben, bevor Sie die Schutzfolie
entfernen.
Zum Entfernen der Batterie eine Münze in den Schlitz auf der Oberseite
des Batteriemoduls stecken, leicht nach unten drücken und gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn drehen. Drehen Sie die Batterie mit den Kontakten nach oben.
Die Schutzfolie entfernen Sie durch Anheben der roten Lasche und Abziehen
der Folie.
Zum Wiedereinsetzen der Batterie den Pfeil auf dem Batteriemodul so
ausrichten, dass er auf das Dreieck am Gehäuse zeigt. Mit einer Münze
nach unten drücken und im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, bis der Pfeil auf dem
Batteriemodul auf das Schloss-Symbol am Gerät zeigt.
Die Lebensdauer der Batterie hängt von der Anzahl der Bestrafungen ab, die
Ihr Hund erhält, sollte aber im Durchschnitt einen Monat betragen.

2. Schritt Testen Sie das Gerät
Halten Sie Ihren Finger über den Lautsprecher, um
den Schall beim Testen des Gerätes zu dämpfen.
Blasen Sie über das Mikrofon. Das Gerät sollte
ein scharfes Geräusch aussenden. Wenn Sie nichts
hören, überprüfen Sie bitte die Batterie und
wiederholen Sie den Test.
3. Schritt Einstellen der Empfindlichkeit des
Mikrofons
Der Schalter für die Empfindlichkeit des Mikrofons befindet
sich seitlich am Gerät. Beginnen Sie mit dem Schalter in der
Einstellung „low“ (niedrig). Wenn das Gerät beim Bellen des
Hundes keine akustische Bestrafung aussendet, stellen Sie den
Schalter auf „high“ (hoch).
4. Schritt Befestigung am Halsband
Anmerkung: Nicht am Hund verwenden ohne vorher das
Trainingshandbuch zu lesen.
Das Halsband sollte zirka 1,6 mm dick sein und nicht
breiter als 25 mm. Führen Sie das Halsband unter allen
vier Clips durch. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Gerät
