These instructions explain how to correctly use your equipment. Only certain
techniques and uses are described.
The warning symbols inform you of some potential dangers related to the use of
your equipment, but it is impossible to describe them all. Check Petzl.com for
updates and additional information.
You are responsible for heeding each warning and using your equipment correctly.
Any misuse of this equipment will create additional dangers. Contact Petzl if you
have any doubts or difficulty understanding these instructions.
1. Field of application
This equipment is personal protective equipment (PPE) used for fall protection.
EN 567 compact progress capture pulley, ball bearing.
This product must not be pushed beyond its limits, nor be used for any purpose
other than that for which it is designed.
Responsibility
WARNING
Activities involving the use of this equipment are inherently dangerous.
You are responsible for your own actions, decisions and safety.
Before using this equipment, you must:
- Read and understand all Instructions for Use.
- Get specific training in its proper use.
- Become acquainted with its capabilities and limitations.
- Understand and accept the risks involved.
Failure to heed any of these warnings may result in severe injury or death.
This product must only be used by competent and responsible persons, or those
placed under the direct and visual control of a competent and responsible person.
You are responsible for your actions, your decisions and your safety and you
assume the consequences of same. If you are not able, or not in a position to
assume this responsibility, or if you do not fully understand the Instructions for Use,
do not use this equipment.

3. Inspection, points to verify
Petzl recommends a detailed inspection by a competent person at least once every
12 months (depending on current regulations in your country, and your conditions
of usage). Follow the procedures described at Petzl.com. Record the results on
your PPE inspection form: type, model, manufacturer contact info, serial number or
individual number, dates: manufacture, purchase, first use, next periodic inspection;
problems, comments, inspector’s name and signature.
Before each use
Verify that the product has no cracks, deformation, marks, wear, corrosion...
Verify the condition of the sheave and that it is working properly.
Check the axle and that the moving side plate is properly aligned.
Check the movement of the cam and the effectiveness of its spring. Warning: do
not use your MICRO TRAXION if it has missing or worn-out teeth.
Make sure there are no foreign objects in the mechanism.
During use
It is important to regularly monitor the condition of the product and its connections
to the other equipment in the system. Make sure that all items of equipment are
correctly positioned with respect to each other.
Beware of foreign bodies (mud, snow, ice, debris...) that could impede the operation
of the cam.
Warning: locking effectiveness can vary depending on the state of the rope (wear,
moisture, ice...).
Visual verification: warning, when the cam appears to be well outside the body of
the device, the progress capture function is disabled.
Contact Petzl if there is any doubt about the condition of this product.
4. Compatibility
Verify that this product is compatible with the other elements of the system in your
application (compatible = good functional interaction).
Ropes
The MICRO TRAXION works on 8 to 11 mm diameter kernmantel ropes (EN 892
dynamic, EN 1891 semi-static).
Connector
Use a locking connector, preferably oval or pear-shaped. Verify that your connector
is compatible with the MICRO TRAXION. Make sure that the connector is always
loaded on its major axis.
5. Function principle and test
The MICRO TRAXION allows the rope to slide in one direction, and locks in the
other direction. The cam’s teeth initiate the clamping action, then the rope is
pinched against the sheave, and locks.
6. Installing the MICRO TRAXION
Install the rope without manipulating the cam: press the rope to move the cam in
the opening direction. Verify that the rope locks in the desired direction.
Warning: the MICRO TRAXION must be attached without any obstruction.
To remove from the rope
Remove the connector, open the moving side plate. Slide the device upward while
separating it from the rope. The rope will naturally free itself from the cam.
Cam positions
To disable the progress capture function, raise the cam and press the button.
Release the button to hold the cam in the raised position.
To enable the progress capture function, press the button again.
7. Strength
Working load limit when used as pulley: 5 kN.
Breaking strength when used as pulley: 15 kN.
Breaking strength when used as progress capture pulley: 4 kN.
Efficiency: 91 %.

Warning: do not climb above the rope clamp or the anchor point and keep your
rope under tension. In case of a fall, the energy is absorbed by the rope. Shock
loading must absolutely be avoided when close to the anchor.
Disabling the progress capture function
To use the MICRO TRAXION as a simple pulley, disable the progress capture
function (see cam positions drawings).
Warning: except for simple pulley usage, disabling the progress capture function
presents a fall hazard for the user or the load.
9. Additional information
This product meets the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal
protective equipment. The EU declaration of conformity is available at Petzl.com.
When to retire your equipment:
WARNING: an exceptional event can lead you to retire a product after only one
use, depending on the type and intensity of usage and the environment of usage
(harsh environments, marine environment, sharp edges, extreme temperatures,
chemicals...).
A product must be retired when:
- It has been subjected to a major fall (or load).
- It fails to pass inspection. You have any doubt as to its reliability.
- You do not know its full usage history.
- When it becomes obsolete due to changes in legislation, standards, technique or
incompatibility with other equipment...
Destroy these products to prevent further use.

3. Contrôle, points à vérifier
Petzl conseille une vérification approfondie, par une personne compétente, au
minimum tous les 12 mois (en fonction de la réglementation en vigueur dans votre
pays et de vos conditions d’utilisation). Respectez les modes opératoires décrits
sur le site Petzl.com. Enregistrez les résultats sur la fiche de vie de votre EPI : type,
modèle, coordonnées du fabricant, numéro de série ou numéro individuel, dates
: fabrication, achat, première utilisation, prochains examens périodiques, défauts,
remarques, nom et signature du contrôleur.
Avant toute utilisation
Vérifiez sur le produit l’absence de fissures, déformations, marques, usure,
corrosion...
Vérifiez l’état du réa et son bon fonctionnement.
Vérifiez l’axe d’ouverture et le bon alignement du flasque mobile.
Contrôlez la mobilité de la gâchette et l’efficacité de son ressort. Attention, si des
dents sont usées ou manquantes, n’utilisez plus votre MICRO TRAXION.
Vérifiez l’absence de corps étrangers dans le mécanisme.
Pendant l’utilisation
Il est important de contrôler régulièrement l’état du produit et de ses connexions
avec les autres équipements du système. Assurez-vous du bon positionnement des
équipements les uns par rapport aux autres.
Attention aux objets étrangers (boue, neige, glace, débris...) qui pourraient gêner le
fonctionnement de la gâchette.
Attention, la qualité du blocage peut varier en fonction de l’état de la corde (usure,
humidité, glace...).
Vérification visuelle : attention, lorsque la gâchette apparaît nettement en dehors du
corps de l’appareil, la fonction bloqueur est désactivée.

4. Compatibilité
Vérifiez la compatibilité de ce produit avec les autres éléments du système dans
votre application (compatibilité = bonne interaction fonctionnelle).
Cordes
La MICRO TRAXION fonctionne sur cordes (âme + gaine) de 8 à 11 mm de
diamètre (dynamiques EN 892, semi-statiques EN 1891).
Connecteur
Utilisez un connecteur à verrouillage, de préférence de forme ovale ou en poire.
Vérifiez la compatibilité de votre connecteur avec la MICRO TRAXION. Veillez à ce
que le connecteur travaille toujours selon le grand axe.
5. Principe et test de fonctionnement
La MICRO TRAXION permet à la corde de coulisser dans un sens et bloque dans
l’autre sens. Les dents de la gâchette amorcent le serrage, puis la corde est
bloquée par pincement sur le réa.
6. Mise en place de la MICRO TRAXION
Installez la corde sans manipuler la gâchette : appuyez sur la corde pour pousser
la gâchette dans le sens de l’ouverture. Vérifiez que la corde est bloquée dans le
sens souhaité.
Attention, la MICRO TRAXION doit être attachée librement.
Pour retirer la corde
Retirez le connecteur, faites pivoter le flasque mobile en position ouverte. Faites
coulisser l’appareil vers le haut en l’écartant de la corde. La corde se libère
naturellement de la gâchette.
Positions de la gâchette
Pour désactiver la fonction bloqueur, relevez la gâchette et appuyez sur le bouton.
Relâchez le bouton pour maintenir la gâchette en position relevée.
Pour réactiver la fonction bloqueur, appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton.
7. Résistance
Valeur d’utilisation maximum en usage poulie : 5 kN.
Charge de rupture en usage poulie : 15 kN.
Charge de rupture en usage poulie-bloqueur : 4 kN.
Rendement : 91 %.

Attention, ne montez pas au-dessus du bloqueur ou du point d’amarrage et gardez
votre corde tendue. En cas de chute, l’énergie est absorbée par la corde. Aucun
choc toléré quand vous approchez de l’amarrage.
Désactivation de la fonction bloqueur
Pour utiliser la MICRO TRAXION en poulie simple, désactivez la fonction bloqueur
(voir dessins des positions de la gâchette).
Attention, en dehors de l’usage poulie, la désactivation de la fonction bloqueur
présente un danger de chute de l’utilisateur ou de la charge.
9. Informations complémentaires
Ce produit est conforme au règlement (UE) 2016/425 relatif aux équipements de
protection individuelle. La déclaration de conformité UE est disponible sur Petzl.

Mise au rebut :
ATTENTION, un événement exceptionnel peut vous conduire à rebuter un produit
après une seule utilisation (type et intensité d’utilisation, environnements d’utilisation
: milieux agressifs, milieux marins, arêtes coupantes, températures extrêmes,
produits chimiques...).
Un produit doit être rebuté quand :
- Il a subi une chute importante (ou effort).
- Le résultat des vérifications du produit n’est pas satisfaisant. Vous avez un doute
sur sa fiabilité.
- Vous ne connaissez pas son historique complet d’utilisation.
- Quand son usage est obsolète (évolution législative, normative, technique ou
incompatibilité avec d’autres équipements...).
Détruisez ces produits pour éviter une future utilisation.

1. Rozsah použití
Osobný ochranný pracovný prostriedok (OOPP). Kladka s lanovou svorkou EN 567 Tento produkt nesplňuje
požiadavky európskej smernice týkajúcej sa výstupových prostriedkov (2006/42/CE). Zaťaženie tohto výrobku nesmie
prekročiť uvedenú hodnotu pevnosti; výrobok nesmie byť používaný iným spôsobom, než pre ktorý je určený.
UPOZORNENIE: Činnosti zahrňujúce používanie tohto výrobku sú z podstaty nebezpečné. Za svoje jednanie a
rozhodovanie zodpovedáte sami.
Pred používaním tohto výrobku je nutné:
- Prečítať si a preštudovať celý návod na použitie.

3. Kontrolné body
Pred každým použitím
Skontrolujte, či na tele výrobku nie sú praskliny, poškodenia, deformácie, opotrebenie alebo korózia apod.
Skontrolujte stav kotúča kladky a jeho správnu funkciu. Skontrolujte čap a správne zarovnanie pohyblivej bočnice.
Skontrolujte pohyb vačky a účinnosť pružiny. UPOZORNENIE, nepoužívajte MICRO TRAXION s opotrebovanými,
alebo chýbajúcimi hrotmi. Preverte, či sa v mechanizme nevyskytujú cudzie predmety. Podrobnosti o periodických
prehliadkach jednotlivých osobných ochranných prostriedkov nájdete na internetových stránkach www.petzl.com/ppe
Počas používania
Je dôležité stav výrobku pravidelne kontrolovať. Vždy si overte, či sú jednotlivé súčasti systému spojené a či sú voči
sebe v správnej pozícii.
UPOZORNENIE: Dávajte pozor na čokoľvek, čo by mohlo zabrániť správnej činnosti vačky.
Vizuálna kontrola: Upozornenie, pokiaľ je vačka dobre viditeľná mimo bočnice kladky, je funkcia blokantu
vyradená. Ak máte akékoľvek pochybnosti o stave výrobku, kontaktujte firmu Petzl.
4. Zlučiteľnosť
Overte si zlučiteľnosť tohto výrobku s ostatnými prvkami vášho systému pri danom použití (zlučiteľnosť = dobrá
súčinnosť).
Laná
MICRO TRAXION je určený pre jednoduché laná o priemere 8 až 11 mm, ktorá majú úplet a jadro (EN 892 lana
dynamické, EN 1891, lana nízkoprieťažné a statické).
Spojka
Používajte karabinu s poistkou zámku, prednostne oválneho alebo hruškovitého tvaru. Vždy si overte zlučiteľnosť
karabiny s kladkou MICRO TRAXION. Kontrolujte, či je karabina vždy zaťažená v hlavnej pozdĺžnej ose.
5. Funkcie
MICRO TRAXION preklzuje po lane v jednom smere a blokuje sa v smere opačnom. Hroty vačky zachytia lano a
aktivujú blokáciu potom sa lano pritlačí na kotúč a zablokuje sa.

6. Inštalácia MICRO TRAXION
Otvorte pohyblivú bočnicu. Podľa nákresu na vnútornej strane bočnice si zvoľte smer založenia lana. Lano vložte bez
manipulácie s vačkou: zatlačte na lano, aby samo otvorilo vačku. Lano vkĺzne do správnej polohy medzi vačku a kotúč
kladky. Overte, že sa lano blokuje v požadovanom smeru. Uzavrite pohyblivú bočnicu, pripojovacím otvorom prepojte
karabinu a prostriedok spojte s kotviacim bodom a zaistite ho.
Vybratie lana
Odpojte karabinu a otvorte pohyblivú bočnicu.Pri vyberaní lana tlačte prostriedok smerom hore. Lano samovoľne
sklzne z vačky.
7. Polohovanie
MICRO TRAXION nainštalujte tak, aby bolo na napätom lane v správnom smere. Pozor na páčenie, alebo zaťaženie
cez hranu.
8. Skúška funkčnosti
Zakaždým, keď je prostriedok inštalovaný na lano, overte si, či sa zablokuje v požadovanom smere.
9. Použitie
Kladka s blokantem
9a. Vyťahovanie
Použitie MICRO TRAXION ako kladky s blokantem v jednoduchých alebo zložených vyťahovacích systémoch.
9b. Systém protiváhy
Vyťahovanie ťažkého bremena, alebo evakuácie zraneného z hora. Vždy zostaňte pripojený ku kotviacemu stanovišťu
.Pri vyťahovaní kontrolujte kladku i blokant. MICRO TRAXION nepoužívajte k ukotveniu prelanenie alebo zaisťovacie
vedenie: nebezpečenstvo poškodenia lana.
9c. Výstup po lane
MICRO TRAXION použite s ďalším lanovým blokantem a stúpačkou. Oba blokanty musia byť pripojené k postroju
systémom s poistkou (karabína alebo slučka + karabína). Upozornenie: nevystupujte nad úroveň blokantu, alebo
kotviaceho bodu a vaše lano udržujte vždy napnuté. V prípade pádu je energia pádu absorbovaná lanom. Ak sa
približujete bližšie ku kotviacemu bodu, má lano menej absorpčnej kapacity: v blízkosti kotviaceho bodu sa vyvarujte
rázového zaťaženia lana.
9d. Kladka
Pre použitie MICRO TRAXION ako prostej kladky deaktivujte funkciu blokantu.
Vyradenie funkcie kladky s blokantem
Upozornenie: okrem činnosti, kedy sa používa samotná kladka, predstavuje vyradenie funkcie vačky nebezpečenstvo
pádu užívateľa, či bremene. Funkciu vačky deaktivujete tak, že ju zdvihnete a stlačíte tlačidlo. Pri uvoľnení tlačidlo
zostane vačka v otvorenej polohe. Pre aktiváciu vačky stlačte opäť tlačidlo.

10. Všeobecné informácie
Životnosť / Kedy vaše vybavenie vyradiť
Životnosť textilných a plastových výrobkov značky Petzl je maximálne 10 rokov od dátumu výroby. Pre kovové
výrobky neobmedzená.
POZOR: niektoré výnimočné situácie môžu spôsobiť okamžité vyradenie výrobku už po prvom použití, to závisí na
druhu, intenzite a prostredí, v ktorom je výrobok používaný (znečistené prostredie, ostré hrany, vysoké teploty,
chemikálie, atd.). Výrobok musí byť vyradený pokiaľ:
- Je starší ako 10 rokov a vyrobený z plastu alebo textílií.
- Bol vystavený ťažkému pádu alebo veľkému zaťaženiu.
- Neprejde periodickou prehliadkou. Ak máte akékoľvek pochybnosti o jeho spoľahlivosti.
- Nepoznáte jeho úplnou históriu používania.
- Sa stane zastaralým vzhľadom k legislatíve, normám, technikám alebo zlučiteľnosti s ostatným vybavením, atd.
Znehodnotením vyrazeného vybavenia zabránite jeho ďalšiemu použitiu.
Periodické prehliadky
Okrem kontroly pred a behom používania výrobku musí byť urobená pravidelná periodická prehliadka (revízia)
odborne spôsobilou osobou. Častosť pravidelných periodických prehliadok (revízii) musí byť daná spôsobom a
intenzitou používania výrobku. Petzl doporučuje robiť tieto prehliadky jedenkrát každých 12 mesiacov.
Pre ľahšiu sledovateľnosť výrobkov neodstraňujte akékoľvek označenia, štítky alebo nálepky. Výsledky revízii by mali
byť zaznamenávané v evidenčných listoch s týmito údajmi: druh prostriedku, typ, informácie o výrobcovi, sériové číslo
alebo individuálne číslo, dátum výroby, dátum predaja, dátum prvého použitia, dátum budúcej periodickej prehliadky,
problémy, komentáre, meno a podpis inšpekcie a užívateľa. Viď vzor na www.petzl.com/ppe

Skladovanie, doprava
Výrobok uchovávajte na suchom, tienistom mieste mimo dosah UV žiarenia, chemikálií, vysokých teplôt, atd. Pokiaľ je
to nutné výrobok očistite a osušte.
Úpravy a opravy

Na vady materiálu a vady vzniknuté vo výrobe. Nevzťahuje sa na vady vzniknuté: bežným opotrebením a roztrhnutím,
oxidáciou, úpravami alebo opravami, nesprávnym skladovaním, nedostatočnou údržbou, nedbalosťou, nesprávnym
použitím.
Zodpovednosť
Petzl neni zodpovedný za následky priame, nepriame alebo náhodné ani za škody vzniknuté v priebehu používania
tohto výrobku.
