2Bedienungsanleitung
Übersicht
Die Baugruppe DI stellt 32 digitale Eingänge zur Verfügung. Die Ein-
gangssignale müssen einen "High"-Pegel von 24 V DC (+15 ... +30 V DC)
und einen "Low"-Pegel von 0 V DC (-3 ... +5 V DC) aufweisen. Die Ein-
gänge sind mit einem Filter versehen und durch Optokoppler galvanisch
getrennt.
Der Code der Baugruppe DI im Datenbaustein DB002 ist 8001 8001.
Die Baugruppe PSS DI ist für den Einsatz auf dem Baugruppenträger der
Serie PSS 3000 bestimmt.
Die Baugruppe PSS1 DI ist für den Einsatz auf dem Baugruppenträger der
Serie PSS 3100 bestimmt.
Funktionen
Der Status der Eingänge wird über den 3kanaligen parallelen Bus als
"0"-Signal ("Low"-Pegel) oder "1"-Signal ("High"-Pegel) an die CPU gelei-
tet. Leuchtdioden zeigen den Status der Eingänge an. Eine Leuchtdiode
geht an, sobald am Eingang "1"-Signal anliegt.
Eine Diagnosebeschaltung überprüft die Funktion der Eingänge, ausge-
nommen der Eingangsfilter und der Optokoppler. Um auch die Eingangs-
filter und die Optokoppler zu testen, muß die Gebertaktung eingesetzt
werden. Tritt ein Fehler auf, wechselt die Steuerung in den STOP-Zu-
stand, schaltet die Ausgänge aus und gibt eine Meldung auf dem Display
der CPU aus.
Inbetriebnahme
ACHTUNG!
Durch elektrostatische Entladung können Bauteile der Baugruppe
beschädigt werden. Sorgen Sie für Entladung, bevor Sie die Baugruppe
berühren, z. B. durch Berühren einer geerdeten, leitfähigen Fläche oder
durch Tragen eines geerdeten Armbands.
•Montieren Sie die Baugruppe wie in den"Serie PSS 3000/PSS 3100
Installationsrichtlinien" beschrieben auf den Baugruppenträger.
•Beschalten Sie die Eingänge.

Bitte beachten Sie:
•Sicherheitsrelevante Eingangssignale müssen dem Ruhestromprinzip
entsprechen.
•Stellen Sie im Anwenderprogramm sicher, daß ein "0"-Signal der Bau-
gruppe immer zum Abschalten der relevanten Ausgänge führt.
•Der Anschluß einer 0-V-Klemme ist ausreichend.
•Benachbarte Eingänge nicht mit dem selben Takt belegen.
•Leitungsmaterial aus Kupferdraht verwenden, dessen Isolation eine
Temperaturbeständigkeit von 75 °C hat.
•Das Anzugsdrehmoment der Schrauben auf den Anschlußklemmen muß
0,5 ... 0,6 Nm betragen.
Störungen
Bei einem Defekt der Baugruppe oder einem Verdrahtungsfehler wechselt
die Steuerung in den STOP-Zustand, schaltet alle Ausgänge aus und gibt
eine Meldung auf dem Display aus. Zum Lokalisieren der Fehler dient die
Anzeige des Fehler-Stacks im Programmiergerät.

Overview
The DI module provides 32 digital inputs. Input signals must show a
"High" of 24 V DC (+15 ... +30 V DC) and a "Low" of 0 V DC (-3 ... +5 V
DC) Inputs have a noise suppression circuit and are galvanically isolated
through an optocoupler.
The code for the DI Module in Data Block DB002 is 8001 8001.
The module PSS DI is designed for use on the Series PSS 3000 Module
Rack.
The module PSS1 DI is designed for use on the Series PSS 3100 Module
Rack.
Functions
Input status is transmitted to the PLC as "0"-Signals ("Low") or "1"-Signals
("High") via the three-channel parallel Bus. The status of the inputs is
displayed through LEDs, which light as soon as a "1"-Signal is present at
the relevant input.
Diagnostic circuitry checks the function of the inputs, with the exception of
the input filter and the optocoupler. The input filter and the optocoupler
can be tested with the use of the test signal. If an error occurs, the
controller goes into a STOP-condition, switches off the outputs and sends
a message to the CPU display.
Commissioning
CAUTION!
Electrostatic discharge can damage the components on the module.
Ensure against discharge before touching the module, e.g. by touching an
earthed, conductive surface or by wearing an earthed armband.
• The module should be installed in the module rack as described in the
"Series PSS 3000/PSS 3100 Installation Guidelines".
• Connect the inputs.

Please note:
•Safety-oriented input signals must operate in normally energised mode.
•Make sure that in the user program the "0"-Signal of the module will
switch-off the relevant outputs.
•Connecting one "0 V"-terminal is sufficient.
•Neighbouring inputs must not be assigned the same pulse.
•Copper wiring should be used that can withstand temperature of 75 °C.
•Torque setting on the screw terminals should be to 0.5 ... 0.6 Nm.
Faults
If a fault in one of the modules or a wiring-error is detected, the controller
goes into a STOP condition, switches off all the outputs and sends a
message to the display. The display on the programmer's error stack can
be used to locate the error.

La carte PSS DI possède 32 entrées. Le signal d'entrée correspondant au
niveau haut doit être le 24 V DC (+15 ... +30 V DC) et le niveau bas doit être
le 0 V DC (-3 ... +5 V DC). Les entrées possèdent un filtre et une isolation
galvanique par opto-coupleur.
Le code des cartes PSS DI dans le DB002 est 8001 8001.
La carte PSS DI s'installe dans le fond de panier d'un automate de sécurité
Série PSS 3000.
La carte PSS 1 DI s'installe dans le fond de panier d'un automate de sécurité
Série PSS 3100.
Fonctionnement
Les signaux 0 (niveaux bas) et les signaux 1 (niveaux haut) sont lus par les
3 canaux diversitaires, en même temps. Les signaux sont ensuite traités par
la CPU. Les LEDs signalent le statut des entrées. Une LED verte s'allume
pour indiquer l'état 1 de l'entrée considérée.
Par un câblage approprié (à l'aide des tests impulsionnels), il est possible de
contrôler le bon fonctionnement du filtre et de l'optocoupleur. Une erreur
provoquel'arrêtdel'automatequicoupealorssessorties.L'afficheur4digits
de la CPU indique le type d'erreur.
Mise en service
ATTENTION !
La carte PSS(1) DI peut être endommagées par des décharges
électrostatiques. Avant de manipuler la carte il est recommandé de se
décharger en tenant par exemple une surface plate liée à la terre ou en
s’équipant d’un bracelet anti-statique.
•Montage de la carte sur le fond de panier comme indiqué dans le manuel
"Série PSS 3000/PSS 31000 guide d'installation".
•Raccorder les entrées.

Remarques :
•Les entrées devant assurer une fonction de sécurité doivent êtres câblées
en logique positive (utiliser les contacts NF).
•Dansuneapplicationdesécurité,unsignald'entréeà'0'provoquel'arrêtde
la commande de sortie (sécurité positive).
•La connexion d'un seul 0 V est nécessaire.
• Deux entrées voisines ne peuvent être testées avec le même signal
impulsionnel.
•Les câbles en cuivre doivent avoir une isolation qui leur permet de
supporter des températures de 75 °C.
•Le couple de serrage des vis sur les borniers ne doit pas dépasser
0,5 ... 0,6 Nm.
Défauts
Une carte défectueuse ou un défaut dans le câblage provoque l'arrêt de
l'automate qui coupe ses sorties. L'afficheur 4 digits de la CPU indique alors

de la console de programmation.
