152 - HD Plate Top Bench
Assembly Instructions

1Stand legs upright and face as shown. Note: 4’
benches and under come with two legs, and 5’
benches and over come with three legs.
Attach stringer and angle tie rods using 3/8”x
3/4” machine bolts, 3/8“ hex nuts, and 3/8”
washers. HAND TIGHTEN ONLY. **When shelf is
provided instead of angle tie rods, use 3/8” x 3/4”
hardware to attach to bench leg crosses in place of
tie rods.**

After top is in place, make sure bench is square and then, tighten all bolts,
starting with the stringer and tie rods.

3Attach back plate brackets using (3) 5/16” x 3/4”
at head machine screws as shown and tighten.
4Attach 12 gague back plate with (6) 1/4”x 5/8”
round head machine screws, (6) 1/4” lock
washers and (6) 1/4” hex nuts. HAND TIGHTEN
ONLY.
5Attach plate top using 5/16” x 1” at head
machine screws, 5/16“ hex nuts and 5/16” lock
washers.

(3) When a drawer is furnished, the drawer cover
and padlock attachment have already been
installed to the underside of the top, just slide the
drawer into the drawer runners and attach the
drawer stop with (2) 10/24 x 5/8” machine screws,
(2) 10/24 hex nuts and 10/24 washers. Hardware
for drawer is not pictured.
