•Connect up the dust extraction system on all jobs. Circular
saws have to be connectedto a dust collectingdevice when
usedto saw wood. The operator has to be informedabout
the conditions with an influence on dust development, e.g.
the type of material beingprocessed(source andcollection of
the dust), the significance of local separation arrangements,
andthe correct settingof hoods, baffle plates andguides.
• To prevent injuries from flyingdebris from the workpiece,
operate the saw only with a suitable extraction system or a
standardindustrial vacuum cleaner.
• The bench-type saw has to be connectedto a 230 V socket-
outlet with earthingcontact andminimum fusingof 10 A.
• Do not use any low-poweredmachines for heavy duty work.
• Do not mis-use the cable
• Make sure you standsquarely andkeep your balance at all
times.
•Check the tool for damage
•Each time before re-usingthe tool, carefully check that the
guards or any slightly damagedparts are workingas
intended.
•Check that the movingparts are in goodworkingorder, that
they do not jam, andthat no parts are damaged. Make sure
that all parts are fittedcorrectly andthat all other operating
conditions are properly fulfilled.
• Unless otherwise statedin the operatinginstructions,
damagedsafety devices andparts have to be repairedor
replacedby an authorizedservice center.
• Have damagedswitches replacedby a customer service
workshop.
• This electrictool complies with the pertinent safety
regulations. Repairs are to be carriedout only by a qualified
electrician usingoriginal replacement parts or the user may
suffer an accident.
• If necessary, wear suitable personal protection equipment.
This couldconsist of: - Ear-defenders to prevent the risk of
damagingyour hearing- A breathingmask to prevent the
risk of inhalinghazardous dust - Eye protection to prevent
the risk of damagingyour eyes.
