WHAT’s IN THE BOX
OVERVIEW
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
INSTALLATION
• HDMI extender using HDBaseT, transmits audio and HD video signal.
• Extends 1080p video and audio transmission range via Cat6, of up to 50 meters.
Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain for future reference.
Requirements
• An HDMI source device with HDMI OUTPUT interface, DVD, PS3, STB, PC etc set to
a maximum 1080i/p output resolution.
• A display device with HDMI INPUT port, SDTV, HDTV, projector etc.
• When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always be followed..
• Do not expose the units to moisture or dust and keep any ventilation slots clear.
• Do not connect or disconnect cables or the units from the source or display devices
while powered on and in use.
• HDMI 1.3 compatible uncompressed HDMI video signal.
• Apply HDBaseT extend technology HDCP 1.2 compatible.
• Supports full HD 1080p@60Hz signal over Cat6 up to 50 meters.
• Support stereo audio.
• Automatically identies and congures a variety of display modes.
• Simple and convenient plug and play installation, no setting up required.

• Network cables UTP/STP Cat6/Cat6A/Cat7 network cables, to IEEE-568B.
Connections
• Connect the transmitter TX unit into the HDMI output port on the signal source
equipment.
• Connect the receiver RX unit into the HDMI input port on the display device.
• Connect both Receiver and Transmitter via Cat6/Cat6A or Cat7 network cables
• Plug the USB cables into the Transmitter and Receiver units and connect to a suitable
USB socket for power, or to a mains adaptor with USB output (not included).
• Power on the signal source and the display.
• Press the ‘LENGTH’ button on the receiver to auto-adjust the setting for the network
cable length. This is then stored in memory until the button is pressed again.
Note: It is recommended to use a network cable length of between 15 and 50metres. If the
cable is too short the signal strength may be too high resulting in loss of display. Too long
and the output may degrade.

Adjustment
• Users can press ”LENGTH” button to adjust the transmission distance of this device
automatically or manually. The previous setting is retained in memory.
• Press twice and the unit will adjust the distance according to the network cable length
automatically.
• Continuing to press the button will select manual mode for adjusting the transmission
distance. There are 10 steps each selected by a further press.
• After all 10 steps the setting will loop back to the auto adjust transmission mode.
